  • The gas laws relate pressure, volume, temperature and amount of a gas. In this video we will learn Boyle's, Charles's, Gay-Lussac's, Avogadro's and the Combined Gas Law.

    can i ask about the example in the Gay Lussac's Law, why is it that the given data on question about the initial temperature is 283 but when you solved it, it changed into 298?

      Caleb Tim He had a mistake... It is 283 K, not 298 K. So, therefore, the answer is 1,640.99 kPa.

    Thank you so much ,this gave me so much clarity and even when you gave a practical example of Charles law I could relate because my cousin once burnt an aerosol can , it blew up and injured my right hand had to put a cast lol.

    For Charles's Law, the relationship you said is P is proportional to V. What did you mean by that?

    I'm very confused on what should I add if I'm going to convert Celsius into kelvin is it 273 or 273.15??? Are they still the same?

      They are the same. 273.15 is just more precise than 273. You will get the same answer.

    In gay Lussac's law you wrote T¹ as 298K but it's 283K and the answer is 1641kPa just thought I should let you know

    The Charles law is meant to be T ➰ V....that's T¹/V¹ = T² /V²

    In the Avogadro law it is v is directly proportional to n, and not n directly proportional to v .The video is nice but you just need to change somethings
