@@dannyhamler4912 sure, all good but a gruppe m titanium exhaust is for race purposes also, supersprint (titanium) race exhaust, see how the word 'race' is in there also, they don't evcen give certificats for it to ride on the streets so your point is, there are many other option than a single exit exhaust if you want something for race purposes, he just chosing the retarded rice solution probably cause it's cheaper.

Good luck man, I’ve got a similar but carbon black E46 m3 with similar plans for this year. Would love to do light weight wheel, race seats and that bimmerworld exhaust but couple maintenance items will be first.
If you’re going full race build I suggest looking at 4.10 gearing I did mine when I got the subframe done! If you’re planning on tracking I highly recommend good harnesses with a seat that can take them and a hans device! It’s so important for safety I always wear mine when I go to the track! Also get some bigger sway bars they are inexpensive and improve the car a ton!
A lot of these parts were on here when I got it. I put the tires and wheels on (the old wheels were too wide and had stretched tires). I also put in the rad and fan because this car would overheat. Now it doesn’t. The aFe intake should get me more HP, but I haven’t dyno’d it yet to confirm
Can't wait to see those upgrades this year. Good plan! For the shifter you can take a look at RTD shifter. And just one suggestion, instead of changing the exhaust I would change the headers. Euro (cheap) or Super Sprint headers if you need cats. Wish you all the best!

I missed if you mentioned your odometer reading. But no matter. Your car is a 2005 which means its definitely in the zone where BMW put up graded rod bearings. From 2003.5 and on they put in up grades rod bearings. It was a recall as well so most have been done free from the dealer if they're older. Just get a Blackstone oil kit and test your oil as it will tell you for sure if you need to do them or not. Likely not. Nice car.
Thanks Greg. It has about 143k on the clock. And I did the blackstone analysis and it said there was signs of wear. They said it could go for a while and get it rechecked, but I’m going to have to do it at some point
@@friguy4444 go to M3forum.net and read read read. Specifically the oil analysis thread. This is well known and widely documented. E9x has rod bearing issues as well which have to be replaced as often as every 60K miles. Also the bug V10 in the older M5/M6 have horrible rod bearing issues.

How ever we're talking specifically about the S54. So which on line arm chair mechanics opinions should we believe? Biimmer Fest Forum? E90 Forum? E46 fanatics? Bimmer works .com? I think I'll go with what I've garnered from All of these forums and the general consensus. The recall was quite good and many (Not all but many) E46 M3's are running their bearings well into the 200,000 mile point. Although I would not recommend that.
Super dope edit mate. Good to see the M3 again. Really looking forward to your year ahead. Im gona chip in here with my experience just in case it helps. A decent fixed back race seat makes a HUGE difference so great decision to replace the factory item, for the steering wheel you could look at getting the factory wheel covered in Alcantara by someone like cobywheel, they do a great job for a great price. If you run sliders with your race seat (recommended) you wont need a removal wheel kit, saving you money for race gloves which i highly recommend. Anyways a could rattle on for hours but great work and cant wait for the next drop 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Look into whether 275's up front will cause tramlining in the E46. My spidey senses tell me it will be an issue and you don't want to have it, it's annoying as hell.
love your videos man , for the vanos look up naturallyagitated on instagram he honestly does the best vanos kits ive seen( i haven't done mine yet) . and for the rear subframe i did the plates and then reinforced the subframe mounts from inside the boot/trunk area . CMP , vincebrace etc etc make em and they are amazing . RTD shifters are an amazing budget version of CAE and dont have to cut the interior trim :)

Black Flagged no worries my man I’m good besides some bad rib bruises waiting on that insurance check to come in and I’m on the hunt for a new one I had an 03 with the moon roof delete but smg definitely going for a stick this time even tho mine never gave me any problems and the sub frame was good shit even the vanos didn’t rattle haha I wanted to keep it honestly had some koni shocks and a corsa catback with a few otter bolt ons but insurance said I would have to register it as a salvaged vehicle and didn’t want to deal with it

Just stumbled onto your channel from this video, love what I'm seeing! Looks like you're editing in Adobe Premier, can you share how you added the title pointers for each mod? I like the effect they had coming in, etc. I'd love to do a video exactly like this for my car in a few months.
Thanks! Yes I edit in premier. I created the pointers in Illustrator, then brought them into photoshop to make sure the proportions were right for 1920x1080. But I technically could have done that in illustrator. Anyway, saved them out as PNGs and then brought them into premier.

I stopped after you replaced the stock cold air intake which is actually pulling from the kidneys. I'll go out and enjoy my E30 S54 now. However concerning your main fan replacement with an electrical, use a Derale PWM unit so that your Amp pull doesnt hurt the system and it is easily tuned to your needs. Otherwise with a usual relay setup, when the fan kicks on, its a huge hit to the wiring. Misinformation here. Rod bearings are a maintenance item on these cars. The recall did not fix the issue.

Rod bearing issues were in 01-03. 03.5-06 has oem upgraded rod bearings. But guess it couldn’t hurt.

I said 295 to the wheels, not at the engine. Stock m3’s make 333 or so at the engine. You lose 15-20% through the drivetrain - that’s normal for any car. So most stock e46 m3’s would make somewhere in the neighborhood of 280-285 to the wheels. Mine makes 295. So maybe compared to a supercharged, turbo, or seriously built engine it’s low, but compared to a stock M3 it’s pretty healthy
