Today we explore more of the bear-country winter wilderness; this time deeper in the valleys where most snow is already melted. While it is still snowing I set up my tarp and make a fire in these wet circumstances. We cook our lunch and then get into harvesting and splitting some logs for wooden skis... Enjoy!

fyi tins of beans have a plastic liner so not best to stick directly on fire
At 12:59 the caption saying "Recommened" instead of "Recommended". I checked some other videos and they have the same mistake
This video deserve an hour duration!
Canned beans and ramen seems like a very convenient meal. 2 shelf stable items.
That's pretty dang smooth. Carry on.
It sure looks to be quite cold. Brrrr Thank you for your sacrifice.
These videos are so good! The music you choose and the sounds of the stream are super relaxing. Really makes me dream away my worries of the next work week, so peacefull.
Good dry hazel makes amazing feather sticks, it rotts so quickly though and so often much of the dead stuff isn't nice and structural like that and is always spongey, but when it seasons just right its amazing material.
(Im guessing that was hazel, that what it looked like lol)
SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH gefixed jonge!!!
Great job as always. I love the music
Thanks Lars, nice to hear you appreciate it brooh:)

I did smile when out came the beans i have done that a few times, When you started cutting that big log I thought holy smokes he is going after some big fire wood.
❤❤❤
So many things to learn from you, and such gorgeous surroundings!
I thoroughly enjoyed that. Thank you for making it. ✌️❤️
Bạn thật tuyệt vời
When was the last time I used wooden wedges? 🤔 Feels like a previous life...thanks for bringing up wonderful memories! 👍🏻
You should come do this in Michigans Upper peninsula
If you had time and it wasnt raining would you have made a wall of logs to help reflect the heat from the fire?
Very nice video! Looking forward to see more ^^
Excellent video, as usual.
Great ❤. Did you sleep well?
What beautiful, beautiful country. See, this is what I like about your videos, that others just don't do - you show WHERE you are, what the countryside looks like, what the forest looks like. In addition to your bushcraft skills, that's the best part of the video! For all I know, the other guys are camping at the back of their rural property! But you... you are out there for real. (Not to mention your fabulous editing - thank you editor - and music choices. Just quality all around!) Thank you Julius! And stay safe, please.
Very curious why no videos of living in the hut. Like was promised last spring?
lol, *_nothing is more bushcrafty than a can of beans on an open fire..._*
Love your content ❤
Loving the series. The filming and editing are top notch!
(Also, in New Zealand we pronounce Beer and Bear the same as each other..)
