Feira Medieval de Palmela

🇵🇹 Com organização da autarquia de Palmela, a Feira Medieval de Palmela é um evento cultural e histórico, envolvendo a participação da população, através da interação e recriação histórica, com o objetivo dar aos seus visitantes uma visão do que a vila terá sido no passado, e assim mostrar a sua importância na história de Portugal.
Do programa de animação da Feira, destaca-se muita música, gastronomia, artesanato, passando por torneios de cavaleiros, combates e demonstrações de armas, culminando com falcoaria e acampamentos temáticos. A Feira Medieval de Palmela aposta no rigor histórico e no envolvimento da comunidade, formada em diversas áreas e que participa, voluntariamente, no evento para receber, da melhor maneira, todos aqueles que a visitam.
Realizada dentro das muralhas e nas imediações do castelo, a Feira Medieval de Palmela ocorre, por norma, na ultima sexta, sábado e domingo do mês de Setembro, podendo ser adquirido um bilhete (pulseira) para cada um dos dias, individualmente, ou para os três dias. Existe ainda um serviço de aluguer de trajes adequados à época retratada, para os mais aficionados, ou com desejo de incorporar o espirito festivo da Feira Medieval de Palmela.
🇬🇧 Organized by the municipality of Palmela, the Medieval Fair of Palmela is a cultural and historical event, involving the participation of the population, through interaction and historical recreation, with the aim of giving its visitors a vision of what the village would have been like in the past, and thus show its importance in the history of Portugal.
In it’s entertainment program the Fair counts with lots of music, gastronomy, crafts, knights' tournaments, combats and weapons demonstrations, falconry and thematic camps. The Medieval Fair of Palmela aims to be an historical rigorous environment with a dedicated and involved community, formed in several areas, who, voluntarily, participate in the event to receive, in the best way possible, all those who visit it.
Held inside the castle walls and in the surrounding area, the Medieval Fair of Palmela usually takes place, on the last Friday, Saturday and Sunday of September, and a ticket (wristband) can be purchased for each of the days, individually, or for all three days. There is also a costume rental service of the portrayed period , for those more passionate about the theme, or those who wish to incorporate the festive spirit of the Medieval Fair of Palmela.
