Aston Villa take on Wolves this weekend at Villa Park. Gary O'Neil's side are on a poor run of form. Can they grab their first win of the season at Villa? #avfc #utv #astonvilla
Bogarde is the real deal, just the decision making at certain times can be questioned, but it's a trait that only game time and feeling comfortable in his surrounding brings. .🤞👏👍💥💪
Agreed there, mate. Think he has a very bright future in football. Just a few decisions that experience will help iron out. I suspect he was supposed to be more of a bench/sub player rather than thrown in the deep end straight away. UTV!
@@allvillanofillerI agree with you both. To have come into this level of competition and to have done as well as he has should not be underestimated - could become a really key player over the next few years.
I disagree in defence, I think carlos is the bigger worry against byern when we play them, that is why I think bogarde or kosta will play tomorrow. This will allow konsa to play in his normal CB position. I would like to see mcginn dropped and rested for wolves, he has been rather meh so far and if bailey or philogene are fit I would like to see them start on the right and ramsey maintain mcginns place on the left. Everything else I think will be as you say or I at least agree with, maybe barkley starting but I do not think so as those 2 belgians are doing so well right now. Maybe when Kamara gets back we might see a second CM pair form with kamara and barkley, lets face it we are stacked in that position and the number 9 we have 2 of the best in the league too, hell left back we are stacked too. But I am just rambling now. Yeah mcginn out if bailey and or philogene is fit and konsa at CB would be my choices. UTV!
@@carlmcclatchie2122 I could see all that happening! It’s getting impossible to drop Ramsey right now, but then where do McGinn & Bailey fit? Some fascinating decisions for Professor Unai. Bet he’s loving it. UTV!
Recent form isn't a consideration with Wolves as our matches always have a little feistiness attached. So we will need to be ready to fight for every ball, similar in many ways to the Everton match, we need to meet them toe-to-toe, show some quality and clinical finishing.
Very true about Wolves games. They’re always a little heated. Think we have to be wary - as Everton showed, teams in poor form can still do real damage in the Premier League. Wolves have the players to cause trouble for sure. Can’t wait to see how we do! UTV!
Totally agree, Paul. It's like Everton last week: everything about form suggests we should ease past them, but is rarely what ever happens in the Premier League. Tough game ahead! UTV!
@@allvillanofiller yep yer right Did u know villa vs Everton is allegedly the most played fixture in English ⚽ football I was at old Trafford third replay league cup final 1977 Chris Nicol RIP scored a memorable goal from 40yards absolutely wild scenes of delight
If he has a bad loss, it could be trouble, but I think they should be patient. O'Neil has shown he can do good work with teams and they have so many young players now that it'll take time for it all to work. I think they'll be okay, but owners make rash decisions sometimes! He does need a win soon, though. Their run of form is worrying for them. UTV!
Agreed villa supporter but I have a soft spot for wolves very like able team great players of yester year John Richards I remember Derek Dougan whatta player in his day
I hope not as I like O'Neil and I want all midland teams to thrive (just not against us). He is I think just going through a sticky patch and needs to regroup with his team.
@@Lioness_UTV Agreed, think O’Neil will figure it out, and there were signs against Newcastle he’s getting close. Just think the board need to be patient. UTV!
I've tried explaining how much Coventry hate the Villa to folks up here, and they always think I'm chatting nonsense. A lot of Leicester and, even weirder, Forest fans are the same too. The whole damned Midlands wants to pretend they're our rivals, really! Heck, go out to Stoke - shithole that it is, I'm not going to recommend you actually do go there if you can avoid it - and you'd have found plenty of idiots that wanted to pretend they were a derby game for us when they were jumped up above their station and reached the Prem for a few years. IDK whether that stems from Port Vale and Crewe being the only real rivals Wolves have?... either way, they're all just jealous wannabes. It's quite sad, really.
It’s mad, isn’t it. Never used to be able to believe the level of hatred Coventry fans had. I wasn’t as aware that other East Midlands clubs have a similar dislike for Villa. What did we do to deserve this 😂 UTV!

Great analysis Frankie.
Love your homework on the opposition 👍
Thanks massively, Denis. Think it proved pretty accurate which is nice! UTV!
