I would personally love a defense based 6 player hoard mode. Could be a lot less resource heavy with enemies “spawning” behind line of sight instead of a mile off in the distance
For a majority of players, customization is important. No one's really mad about it, but it'd be nice to change a little bit of stuff about your own character. Some might say it might be an issue with remaining true to the lore, but they're already letting us do whatever we want with armor.
The biggest issue is adding additions that ruin the lore and the overall feel of 40K. Customization may not be too bad, but it depends on how far they go with it. For the campaign? Nah, it shouldn't really matter because it has to fit the story. That's the equivalent of asking to change the Master Chiefs armor.
What a stupid post. I guarantee a good amount of people playing this game don't know a thing, or really care about "the lore" and them customizing their campaign Titus to their liking would have no impact on your "lore friendly" campaign. I love Resident Evil games and their lore - they allow for costume changes or customization of your character to some extent. Its a simple thing to implement.
@Crispy-ip5zy I think the customization is fine as is. Multiplayer and PVE are good for customization along with the Horde mode coming. I'm not worried about that for the campaign.
the mark VIII is so iconic and I want it on my Tatical marine so bad. I don't really like the primaris helmet and since we can't use helmets across classes, being tempted by the deathwatch armor and not being able to use it at all is such a shame. ESPECIALLY SINCE WE CAN USE THE PAULDRON but just that... it's such a shame
@@stephangg000you can use heraldry Helmets across classes examples being the lieutenant helmet the deathwatch helmet brazen consul and black temples helmet can be used by all classes
If they actually allow chapter specific skins, like, if you pick the salamanders, you would be able to access the black skin red eyes that is known for them about nocturne, or if you chose Space Wolves you’d be able to get the blonde hair and fangs that they’re known for as well
Yup, I chose ravenguard but was hoping i could get their actual outfit with the helmet and claws. Hopefully in future updates we can get these changes🙏
Something that I thought would be really cool was if the classes you were not using at the moment could be seen wondering around the ship with your customisation on. This could also be really cool for people that have developed a custom chapter for their Astartes, making it look like they are on a shop with the rest of their chapter.
Yeah its beyond a joke if I leave PvP due to a crap team I have to quit the game and start it all back up cause it won't look. Co-op stand off due to low levels wanting to take my place needs to stop.
There is literally zero reason to change Titus' armor in the campaign. That is like playing a NBA game as Michel Jordan but changing his jersey to a Lakers jersey. Please to not waste the dev's time on this. On future stories. SPOILERS AHEAD: Given that one of the dataslates talks about a researcher in the necron ruins activating something and it sent a message saying awaking or something....please have this lead into some story fighting the necron.
if you own the ultra edition you have a new appearance tab. its change his pauldron on the right, the bolter and chainsword. more of that would be great. but he, should remain ultramarine.
I'd be cool if it stayed in the ultramarines give Titus different stuff to decorate his armor like the laurels of victory and other stuff but not change chapters. Be a good middle ground.
@benterry28 then hope they make a game for your chapter. Because most people don't give 2 shits about your customization it seems from the comments. RIP
You could just not change it yourself without restricting the people who want to change it for the campaign. You probably have no will power though otherwise there's no justifiable reason for people to be against it.
@xSetkux or you could just play a different game if it's such a big deal lolol. Makes no sense having a random marine from another legion just there. Titus is an ultramarine that's the way it is. Get over it.
@xSetkux tell you what I'll give you a reason. Because Titus character is built around being an ultramarine. To change him to a space wolves they would have to make him a different character all together. Same goes for raven guard, salamanders, imperial fist and so on. Each legion has its own personality and would have to play different or it would be out of place. Another reason is GW tho altering lore themselves is strict about following to their lore. Bro I do not remember people in 2009 crying they couldn't play as another chapter when space marine came out for the 360 yall soft brained and pampered af.
My QoL fix? FIX THE THUNDER HAMMER! In what world does an energy weapon that can put a hole through tank armor do less damage than a fucking chain sword any comissar can get!? If it's slow, make the damage WORTH it!
Another thing that absolutely blows is that you don’t get xp from kills. Only from completing a zone in the operation. So if your team wipes, you only get xp for the zone you completed. Not the kills you’ve gotten.
The reason for that is that enemies will endlessly spawn if you just stick around a certain area, meaning people would DEFINITELY abuse their loophole to power level classes, it could be countered by limiting enemies that will spawn to certain areas, but that’s got its own problems, firstly that it’d be immersion breaking to have say, the endless swarm of Tyranids just leave you alone for awhile, and secondly it’d remove a fair chunk of the challenge of searching areas, you could just wipe all the enemies then leisurely inspect every nook and cranny for loot, geneseed, collectibles etc
@@DigitalBoyAus inb4 "yeah but that's because blood is red" Like the only thing that matters to physical health is blood... How is a space marine being able to see another's armor less immersive than seeing their physical state lmfao
If you pre ordered the game (like me), and got some sort of deluxe edition, you got a special shoulder pad, and skins for chainsword and basic bolter. You can equip them straight away on Titus, as soon as you can access that armoury and weapon changing menu. The other bonus from the gold edition (the Heavy class armour) you can only access after the campaign. I think the devs thought that locking both pre order items until after the campaign would make people angry that they can't get access to what they've paid for immediately.
Even worse, coz with Homework you get something as long as teacher isnt pulling BS and assigning something actually useful in learning the current module, but this type of stuff is pure Negative
I feel like adding a NG+ would completely fix the issue with story mode customization. If you beat the game, you get to customize Titus and keep your weapons. That and there wouldn’t be lore restrictions because you already beat the entire campaign.
The campaign is basically just PVE with different missions and armour locked. The PVE missions are meant to be ultramarines during the same campaign, why don’t to care for forcing role playing there?
The thing I agree is with the customization in the main campaign. Unlike other games where customization is allowed cause it doesn’t matter to the plot or universe, the Space Marines are based on chapters and those chapters have colors to help differentiate each other. Titus wouldn’t be considered an Ultramarine if he’s wearing the Salamander green, or any other color. Plus it would be more stupid since Titus would be the ONLY marine that isn’t blue on the battle barge. It’s not like it matters if we can or can’t customize Titus since we can already customize coop and multiplayer marines.
6:47 about the large maps and more people in COOP. I think that it only sounds good but is not good in the end. From my experience with COOP games when there are more players each player loses his weight. With 3 players each player theoretically contributes 33% for mission completion and thus feels that they played huge role in that mission and if they would just sit idly mission would probably fail, but with 9 players each player would contribute only ⁓11% and wouldn't feel as important as now, like they could just sit in the corner and mission most likely would still get completed anyway.
We won’t talk about regular missions in a 3-player PVE mode. Instead, let's discuss large-scale war missions. For example, players would lead an assault against hordes of enemies or eliminate as many as possible to weaken the enemy forces. Players would also capture strategic points or hold their ground at these locations for a set time. Eventually, the AI would send in larger enemies or a massive boss to conclude the mission. Otherwise, the game could drag on for hours. In this mode, players would have a large map, with waves of enemies relentlessly coming at them. The objective would be to control and break the enemy horde while dealing with the boss to finish the mission. Players could use additional reinforcements like Dreadnoughts, Terminators, or even Leman Russ tanks, among other options. And that's it; the mission would be complete.
mate. i already have such deadweights in my games. Going into hardest difficulty and i see lvl 6 assault player, who jumps in and insta dies. I feel like it's better, when some 0-skill console player, burping into his microphone wouldnt lose me a game
@@romanpyatibratov4361 personally, console or PC makes no difference. I'm on console and friend is on PC and I can generally have better stats than him. Down to the person and not what they're playing on. Edit:Don't misunderstand me, I get a lot of really low level players in my games and they run ahead or try shooting enemies I'm about to execute or don't tag items etc.
Big map. Separate objectives for each player that have them cross paths. Bring them together for a big showdown at the end. So first your with a squad of 3, then you go rogue to download some info then you gotta watch the sniper's back, then you gotta defend with the heavy and Bulwark, so on and so forth.
Some of us? I just played six operations with a friend last night, and I got disconnected after every single Op, 6 times. I have gotten very fast and closing, restarting the game, and logging back in, putting in the invite code thanks to the fact I can EXPECT to be dropped after each op, and that I can't simply reconnect from the title screen, no I have to close the full game and restart....
Seems like this game has so much hype around it that alot of the youtubers who cover this game downplay all the issues that everyone is experiencing but ignore them until they happen… and then go right back to ignoring it.
Btw you can tell how sheepish alot of these youtubers are because before this game came it they were all hating on it for having a trans writer and calling it woke.. And now the same people make non stop video’s calling it anti woke and how it “destroys” the woke. But you also at the same time wont see them making videos about how their is a African American ultra marine despite this being specifically going against stated lore in warhammer where the prime archs killed entier planets worth of people until they were all almost as similar as themselves so their specific gene seed modification would work better.
I would like to not have to restart my game ALMOST everytime I join a server. Also all enemy armor gets cut 50%. FOUR hits with a MULTI-MELTA to the face just to perform an execution??? C'MON!!!! I feel like a guardsmen not a Astartes..
Yeah I have to restart constantly too… I’m looking past it because gameplay is mad fun and additive and a pve game is so rewarding I’m so sick of pvp and cod and this and that and toxic rageing and sweat feast. This game is my goty
Some of us are experience? Pretty much almost ALL of us are experincing issues. XD ALSO, heavy weapons get stuck in toggle that need to be toggled off before you can run dash or counter. This is not a good quality of life choice. Havies already have the other limits, and if you're on controller, this is NOT an issue. But as a mouse user who with these various commands, having to click the mouse wheel, which is generally more stiff, before a counter on a moments notice is very tough as opposed to just letting go of a left trigger and hitting the other button. As such, please change HEAVY weapons to be dash run out of it and counter out of it. Some of us are already a lil more limited on how much we can game due to nerve damage, and the toggle of the mouse wheel is going to get really rough on people's fingers among other things for your mouse and keyboard users. Also why can't I toggle voice on and off with taps instead of having to hold it? I can make it open mic, but this would also be frowned upon by abunch of users if they have to hear our background nose liike a fan in a very closed in space that gets warm with electronics and being closed off.
I had the opposite of that earlier issue mentioned. I can't shoot, I have to melee to be able to shoot, as for parrying and dodging, I've actually not had as much discomfort for the mouse using the 3 buttons. But I can understand not everyone can keep up with that. That said- I want fixes for bugs and stuff first before the QoL honestly as well.
LOLMAO, me as a full leveled Heavy on PC, I just switched my mouse-wheel and RMB (Right-mouse Button) and I can get out of heavy stance and dodge/parry strikes. I mean, I enjoy my Heavy Multi Melta Heavy. :'D You should try it. I suggest for you Heavy-lovers to go to top-side of the perk-tree and 1 range on bottom and focus on your heavy stance perks. As weapon-type, I suggest you to go for dmg+Ammo combinations. For SkillTree I suggest whatever suits your playstyle and I go ussualy for more passive perks like ammo etc. I'm rocking a solid 44 Ammo on my Heavy Multi-Melta. Emperor Guide You!
Necrons would be a interesting new enamy faction though I think we all want some ork banter. I would like to see more player classes especially for a hord mode. Apothecary, chaplain, librarian and extremely unlikely but a centurion would be a awesome, and slow but definitely awesome.
isnt apothecary already stated to be included? also dont know why chaplain and librarian would be unlikely. Yes, they higher up in chains of command. But i also assume we also progress in operations from regular space marines to honorable veterans. I mean, look at the armor we rocking at latest stages. That some captain level armor
@@pseudonym5872 Ah that makes more sense I suppose, I would rather they keep it and make it a feature for all classes but thank you for explaining that.
@@pseudonym5872 in a similar game, called Darktide, alongside medical kits and health stims. There are placed healing servitors all across the level. So players can regain full health. Going into room with Hive Tyrant, with no health and only 2 stimpacks on entire team found in that same room. Is not something fun or interesting. Hence people abusing health recovery mechanics with melta gun, or running bulwarks.
Mark 8 Deathwatch is TOO SMALL because he wasnt a Primaris marine. People need to put more time in to learning the world and lore and less time into sending disrespectful and stupid messages to the devs. It really annoys me when people call things “moronic” etc when these devs have done more than ANY OTHER AAA team in decades
@@teb3407 I'm fine with seeing First Born armour, in fact I prefer first born over primaris designs. I'm also all for making it a skin. I maybe worded it poorly - but my point was that people are complaining about the wrong things and in the wrong way. I didn't like the way things were being asked with them calling the Devs moronic etc. But yeah, you're right. The chaos sniper in PVP is wearing a first born helmet for example.
@@edgarvazquez686 Same mate, same. Ive played every edition from Rouge Trader onwards - adore old hammer. There's something so charming about the old 'womble' marines
Expecting to be able to customise Titus to me made no sense lore wise and a waste of resources outside of maybe unlocking his MKVIII gear from the intro.
A decent chunk of people requesting this stuff are tourists and not interested in the 40K lore. I hope the devs don’t listen to it and waste resources because most of the people requesting it are just gonna go back to whatever game they were playing before the second they get bored. A lot of people don’t get that 40K is very lore dense and a lot of fans guard that lore with their lives because of stuff that GW has pulled in the past.
The assets are already in the game. What waste of resources are there? I swear you people be saying the dumbest shit just because you think other people shouldn't have options. You do know you could just not use them right? No wanting other people to have something because you don't want it is truly conservative behavior.
@@xSetkuxI’d rather the devs not waste time and money on such a tiny change for a game mode you only really ever play once or twice compared to the online modes which are the current selling point of the game and have many things that could presently benefit from that same time and money instead.
They need to fix: - being able to get hit while interacting with objective points. Why am I being killed when I’m trying to progress the mission??!?? - Vanguard grapple charge doesn’t refund when getting an execute if the enemy isn’t in the execute state when you grapple them. Grapple instantly triggers the execution if they are executable. So, if your allies are shooting an enemy you grappled, and that enemy gets to the execute threshold while you are in transit to dive kick it, you will not get your charge back even though you got the execution. But if you grapple them when they are in the execute state, it refunds. - the bots are ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL. They barely shoot or assist you. The only one I’ve seen actively helping, is the Bulwark bot. All others will shoot once every 3 or 4 seconds. Then they just stand there. Doing nothing at all. - bug where bots will not revive you if you have a guardian relic. They will legit come next to you and just stare at you. Won’t revive at all. Doesn’t happen all the time, but it happens enough to the point it is annoying. - you don’t always get match made in the difficulty you choose. I tried matching into a lobby on average many times and got put in lobbies at max difficulty. Needless to say we got destroyed. Me and the other lvl 5 teammate should not have been in there. It happens damn near every time I matchmake. Also, I never use quick match so that’s not the reason it happens. - cross play connectivity issues. When Joining my friends that play on PC, I have to wait literal minutes before getting in. Also happens when they try joining me. But whenever I join other PS players, damn near instant load times.
@3adgamd3r if you mean the heavy bolta then yea because all I see people use when they join my lobbies is the melta and just destroy/stun lock anything that's in front of them and not a boss
Assault has a bunch of dodge options with it's jetpack I don't think defensive is the problem here Rather it just feels so shitty compared to campaign because you go up three feet instead of twenty
If you cant find a match in PvP: Switch game mode over to Operations, after a few seconds it will force you to the main menu. Load back in and que. If it still doesn’t work, do it a second time and you’re good to go.
I want some Space Wolves customization! Some as simple as heads with the fangs or just a wolf helmet since they already have the color scheme. I also want more of the factions emblems for the shoulder pads
Heavy excels at regaining low HP to Full HP. Also any other class can do that with a Melta. When I get contested health, I try to damage a lot of enemies in that timeframe and it multiplies it. Before you know, I have full health back. So using an AoE gun is worthwhile. Otherwise, it may suck but Space Marines are the pinacle of gene-engineering, you will find a way. ;)
Or just learn how the gane works not really hard to keep your health up most people do animation takedown just to do them when actually it's used to heal and re armor
@@detectivetap9119 every single time, every single game. Anytime someone says ANYTHING about what would make the game better someone always goes “lEArn HOw tHe gAmE works”. Shields should come back far sooner and glory kills should regen health. I swear there’s always a shit eater somewhere no matter how bad the game mechanic is
@@kitsuneman3 I get pissed by not being to heal up more, but I've also gotten way better at parrying and being a bit more conservative at times, more tactical, cause it is needed. You ask for that, others might ask for more; so it ends up being git gud or play on easy.
We need the following in my opinion: -Power axe for atleast bulwark -Heavy flamer for heavy - Wrist mounted weapons -A rework of heavy plasma gun(either turn it into a Uber powerful cannon or give the balls of plasma aoe dot) -A rework to heavy’s melee(add a knife or something idk) -Lasguns -Heavy lasgun(like a Gatling laser from fallout 3/nv(NOT the one from 4/76)) -Ability to FULLY customize armor colors(cloth/wargear/eyes/etc) -More Armor types so you can actually look like the legion you wear the colors of -A nerf to chaos shield grunts ability to block -A nerf to the tyranid shooters damage(especially the three round burst shotgun guy) -Emotes(I cant believe I’m actually advocating for emotes but I am, they’d be cool) To expand on the new weapons mentioned: The heavy flamer should work like a real life flame thrower, spits out a stream of liquid flame roughly 20ft maybe that sticks to everything it touches and burns it to death. I’m gameplay I think it’d be a great horde clear and area denial weapon. If a grunt steps into the fire they burn to death in 3 seconds, if you direct hit a majoris then it’d whittle down their health over a course of ten seconds(if not hit even more by additional fire that is) The trade off for damage is possibly you can’t see anything past your flames when shooting due to the flame and smoke, maybe have it do friendly fire(pun not intended but welcome nonetheless) meaning it requires teamwork and coordination to be useful, and if that’s not enough to balance out the power of it perhaps if needed make it require a unique ammo like that like pos excuse of a flamer from campaign. So you’d only be able to resupply at a proper box(the big one) or from finding a tank laying around. For the heavy plasma I was seriously disappointed it wasn’t a massive fuck off cannon and instead a dinky low damage grenade launcher thing. So imo the cannon would be MUCH cooler and MUCH more useful. But if that’s not an option I think giving the grenade version a small but lethal aoe dot affect would help make it better. The small shots would have moderate damage and like a 2ft aoe but the charged ones would have the blast radius of a frag and one shot majoris on normal and seriously injure them on sub+ where the dot would likely finish them off three seconds later. The cons already exist on this pos gun, it’s a very specific use, in accurate, ammo hungry slow gun. It doesn’t really need anymore nerfs imo maybe friendly fire if absolutely necessary. They also need to let heavy atleast defend himself in melee by improving his moves or just give us like a knife or something idk
We more than likely won't see older mark armors unless it's for chaos. I'm happy with what they have done. They have stuck to what the first space marine was. I'm just looking forward to more armor options for chaos and game modes.
the customization option in the campaign is for the macragge's chosen dlc included with physical and collectors editions of the game, (lore accurate) customization, people are up in arms over customization option for a mode that 99% of people will play once for the experience
I think one of the QoL changes that should be implemented would be the ability to swap shoulders for the camera. Basically due to the shoulder being on the right, the safest option in PvP is to rotate anti-clockwise, as if you don't, you are able to be peeked by an opposing player behind a corner. Would be nice to see so that both options for engagement can be fair and balanced.
@@GlitchUnlimitedIt's just maybe me that it feels a bit Janky and Unmercive when entering the finishers And I hope that spending it up will make it a bit easier
Onne QoL I would like is to immediately be able to block incomming melee attacks while in heavy stance, also that the heavy class weapons aren't affected by sheilds. Its rediculous that a tzeentch infantry can block heavy bolter fire with a small ass sheild.
I'd really like to be able to get a 3rd person when playing with my friend. If you have one person in your pve lobby it effectively becomes private, and the bots the game provides aren't very good on the higher difficulties. Leads to a situation where we are kinda soft locked, can't upgrade anything else without higher level currency but it's a pain trying to get with a bot player as the third :/
As someone who has already bought all the salamander heraldry and colors I would absolutely LOVE customization to allow for proper skin/eyes to really sell the customization even though for most content helmet discipline applies. As for the customization in the campaign that would be odd since it’s canon characters so it feels a bit backwards to complain about. The new enemy is almost definitely going to be Necrons given the way the campaign teased them at the end.
NGL, I kinda wish they would have made it so picking a specific faction or subfaction would have some in-game effect and potentially change your lines a bit. For example, if you pick Salamander than you are larger than other marines and you do a small percentage more in fire damage. They may have been limited in this but would be cool to see each legion be unique. Honestly, they could even do a DLC that allows players to do missions as chaos marines cleaving your way through imperial guards and space marines. I could definitely see a lot of people wanting that and being willing to pay for that
It would be dope if they added chapter specific cosmetics like the pelt for the space wolves or the dragon scale armor for Salamanders, etc. Also game wise would be cool if you could use medicae stims on teammates or be able to drop your stim for them. Or add the medicae stations on maps like in Darktide.
The only customization for the campain was the pre-order stuff like the shoulder plate and weapon skins. But for cutscenes it doesn't matter cause you will see there always the default appereance. I myself don't need it in the story, i also didn't expect that we could customize titus. They should keep those stuff better to PvP/PvE mode.
I would love to see a client-side option you could turn on to apply the chapter colours I have chosen to the other marines in my squad. It would be very unlikely to see a single Ultramarine fighting alongside a single Imperial Fist and a single Space Wolf marine. It's not a huge deal, but in terms of immersion, I would love to be running with a full squad of Raven Guard!
I'd really love to see matchmaking in ops improved. The ability to search for parties instead of wasting time blindly searching to only find you have lvl 1's in max difficulty. Will also help ensuring the lobby you join has space for the role you have selected. Getting annoying selecting my character and then having to change with no options to back out easily
I'd love to see an endless horde mode. A map with a couple of infinite ammo resuplies, some enemies could drop medicae syringes and grenade packs, increasing enemy hordes could result in an incredible last stand!
If they are going to make customisation a feature for the campaign, they should take the LEGO games route: make it available when you’ve completed the mission, and can mess around in freeplay
Deathwatch armor for multiplayer makes so much sense. Every chapter can use it and chapters already mix together in multiplayer anyways. Having deathwatch armor would at least add a little lore accuracy
we really need some bug and server updates. wasted 40 minutes of my life on a bugged battery recharge mission and i had the correct directions. it just bugged out and the second console couldn't be touched. that was after multiple attempts to connect to randoms who may or may not drop before your mission starts. seriously though the operation missions are long enough without progress breaking bugs. it really hurts having my time wasted like that. also this isnt a small publisher. FOV can be done by smaller teams like gunfiregames for remant 2 and sm2 couldn't have it on release? SMH.
I have access to the dlc colors since pre-ordered the game, but they can easily take your colors away even if you save them since it is already bugy and forced me to buy the colors for my heavy 3 time already (sometime for no reason the game just consider that I didn't buy these colors and reset my "saved" armor to the default color = blue)
I am against a Salamander "Cosmetic" Geneseed or sth like that - because it would encourage more people to run around without helmets - and I totally hate that :D
10:46 meanwhile theres a glitch where if you have the dlc and buy the cosmetics they become locked again after restarting the game, wasting any currency you used to unlock them. so people who didnt buy the dlc can unlock the colors but those who did buy them cant even use them without leaving their game on. hope they can fix the former glitch soon as its annoying not having access to what I payed for
Why waste time and dev resources on a short campaign with little replay value. Instead, add more customization to PVE. For example, allow players to customize paint schemes for the drop ship or friendly tanks with the armor colors and decals we already unlock. Army customization would also be cool, like changing the design of the Tyrinids, or if we're not going to get other chaos factions, then at least change the chaos faction designs to Khorn or Nurgle themed. Also, the ability to change the Cadian army to the Kreig death corps. The Bulwarks flag should be customized, playing as a Blood Angel, I should be able to have a Blood Angel banner, not a generic Ultra Marines banner. The campaign is perfect for what it is. A quick, entertaining introduction to the overall gameplay and lore, we don't need anything else added to Campaign unless we get a story add-on. PVE and PVP are why people will be playing this game a year from now, so let's focus on what actually matters and not extra campaign features that will be forgotten about after you beat the game once or twice.
I love this game so so much... when it works... Some day I'd have absolutely no problem playing, but sometimes it's impossible to even get in any game because of various server problem. Last night I spent like a whole 30 minutes in game just trying to start an ops and just can't. I'm glad that they're trying to fix it, but it really shouldn't have been a problem at launch at all. Still, love this game when it works.
If you are playing coop on vox. The elevator chunk of the mission. If you are playing bulwark and drop your flag, it will fall through the floor every time, at least for my friends and I.
I hope they'll also fix micro stutters in the game; so far I've been mailing the technical support of the devs for over a week. The stutters put my entire game on halt for a split second, every several seconds on AMD Ryzen 5900, RTX 3080Ti, and 64GB RAM (with every driver imaginable updated + updated bios, verified game files, and whitelisted game by my antivirus). I put the game on such low settings I can count pixels but the game still stutters. If they didn't fix it, I'd have no other choice than to refund the game before the 23rd of September. I don't know the 40k lore well, other than what I briefly read on the wiki. Speaking of those forgotten and gone races, It'd be cool to see The Old Ones in 40k one day because they were the creators of humans and other races in that universe + they invented ways to travel across the galaxy fast. Seeing Kroxigors and Saurus warriors in tech armor with plasma weapons, smashing through hordes of Tyranids and Necrons would have been epic.
Your performance issue has nothing to do with the game devs. Your 12-core CPU is basically two six-core CPUs connected together under that heat spreader. There are huge latency penalties when transferring threads between those two six-core CPUs. Windows doesn't do well by default with those types of CPUs. You need to tell Windows to keep the game on only one six-core CPU and the stutters will be gone. Research it and you should easily find some answers.
@@pseudonym5872 Thanks for the clue about the potential issue. Unfortunately, Space Marine 2 exe file gives me "Access Denied' when I want to set affinity to 6 cores only, even though I am on an admin account and the permissions for full control were granted to it so I can't set affinity for this game in the task manager.
I haven't heard you mention that there is a glitch with the dlc customisation, where your in-game purchases are being reset. I unlocked the full Void Trident set yesterday, but when I logged on today it's all been reset, taken off my character and needs to be bought again
I think we should leave a main majority of the customization to where it's already at in the co-op missions and pvp, what I would really like to see is some more heretic armor customizations in pvp.
I would just REALLY appreciate if they handled the bug causing progression loss ASAP. People are starting to talk about it but we need to spread the word further.
Install an option to drop strike as Assault without having to hold the button down. I spend years playing SM1 without needing to hold nothing, there's no reason why it should be like that, and I hope they fix it. It's not like I'm going to change my mind mid-animation.
I really love and hope the loge-scale maps of PVE will happen with 6 players playing along side each others. And I wish they take as long as they need to create this game mode. Introducing new map/current existing maps but with different objectives and stages. Also if they can input more 'puzzle' into the game will be really cool and sustain the gameplay. Took the idea from the 8 man raid in a game called "The division 2". If they can make it like that where players need to solve the puzzles in HOURS to succeed and win the match will be a huge W for the developers. NOTHING FITS MORE TO THE SONS OF THE EMPEROR WITH A LITTLE CHALLENGE.
Speaking as a 40K fan and a tabletop Ultramarines player, the strict lore accuracy of this game makes me happier than I can explain, and the idea of Titus running around in his Deathwatch armor while serving as an Ultramarine or being as customizable as your multiplayer character really flies in the face of that. I mean, sure, plenty of other games have cosmetic alternatives for your character that don't make sense, but... I dunno, everyone's always talking about respecting source material and lore accuracy these days. For multiplayer, though, go nuts. The lore's intentionally vague to allow for the possibility of pretty much any Space Marine chapter you can think of to exist. I'd like to see some emblem customization options as well. And re story DLC, I think it's pretty obvious that the next chapter's going to be the mission Marneus Calgar takes Titus on at the end. The game's basically TELLING you that's what's next.
QoL feature. PvP needs bigger parties than 3. I have a couple friends that wanted to play together for us to figure out that we can’t party up with more than 3 ppl
I love that they keep Titus lore accurate no one gives af in the movie or TV industry keeping our devs responsible for lore accuracy is of upmost importance if you don't want to see the franchises you love get shat on like all the new flopping video game movies (aside from Mario that one was actually fire but there's not much lore to shit on either) allowing titus to wear certain things at certain times allows the customizations to exist while remaining lore accurate I believe it to be the only correct step
Make the bots better in general! The pve bots basically leave entire hordes to decimate the player while they focus on one single majoris enemy. Something like ghost recon squad commands where I can place their attention on mainly majoris, minoris, hang back and cover me etc. let me choose which classes I take in with me as well. I’m tired of taking in a useless sniper bot that gets rocked cause it decided to melee an extremis enemy but when the game blesses me with a bulwark bot it never puts down its banner or puts it down out of combat in a corner.
They need to lower the health of chaff enemies in higher difficulties and the Thunder hammer either needs a damage buff or stuns enemies upon hits. Cause it’s straight up terrible if you’re not fighting 1v1’s with an enemy.
Im kind of curious about the official power level here compared to Darktide. We have a daemonhost for example in one of the missions that seemes to be giving fully realized space marines the same ammount of trouble as it does for some hive city dregs
They need to fix the fucking rerolls, there's no way I'm the only one getting this bug. Constantly getting my levels and weapon unlocks rerolled in OPs it's happened well over 10 times.
if you get kicked offline dont keep playing, just go back to menu and log back in. offline saves aren't tracked after the update. it was done on purpose because of cheats offline. Literally don’t give a fuck about customization options in the campaign. What a weird thing to be upset about
For a majority of players, customization is important.
That's like saying, "why can't I change Master Chief's armor??" makes no sense.
Ngl all I really want is Titus’s deathwatch armor set
the mark VIII is so iconic and I want it on my Tatical marine so bad. I don't really like the primaris helmet and since we can't use helmets across classes, being tempted by the deathwatch armor and not being able to use it at all is such a shame. Something that I thought would be really cool was if the classes you were not using at the moment could be seen wondering around the ship with your customisation on.
This could also be really cool for people that have developed a custom chapter for their Astartes, making it look like they are on a shop with the rest of their chapter.
For the love of the Emperor. Stop putting me in ops with people who are the same class.
You would think quick match would match in servers NOT with your class
I don’t even know why they let you pick the class. I’ve had to leave so many games because of someone running my class
Happened to me last night. It said pick your class, I’m a Bulwark main, and I choose Bulwark and got paired with two other Bulwarks

if you own the ultra edition you have a new appearance tab. its change his pauldron on the right, the bolter and chainsword. more of that would be great. but he, should remain ultramarine.
Then don’t change Titus. You can’t force other people to do what you want
It was fine in the first game. Titus got all sorts of upgrades to his armor as you progressed. But yeah, don't change him.
Titus ability should have option to cancel it
I'd be cool if it stayed in the ultramarines give Titus different stuff to decorate his armor like the laurels of victory and other stuff but not change chapters. Be a good middle ground.
For campaign nah stick to the lore. For operations and pvp is where we should have customizable options
Nah, for replayability I want to play as my own chapter that I collect not smurfs.
Why would you care about customizing Titus’ armor when there’s 6 classes to fully customize in operations lmao, insane ppl I swear
Fr absolutely insane 😂
?why is that “insane” that seems like a somewhat reasonable take
It’d be cool if you unlocked it after playing
A better UI indicator of your teammate’s current armor. A simple QoL feature that could really help players cycle executes and for Bulwark mains.
That's immersion breaking.

If you beat the game, you get to customize Titus and keep your weapons. That and there wouldn’t be lore restrictions because you already beat the entire campaign.
Some people just hate roleplaying. Titus is his own character. Be your custom character in the horde, multiplayer modes.
The campaign is basically just PVE with different missions and armour locked. The PVE missions are meant to be ultramarines during the same campaign, why don’t to care for forcing role playing there?

@@thomasmorel8033mmm no cuz pve its actually the second part of the campaings showing what the Ultra marines did to help or complete titus orders

They need to fix:
- being able to get hit while interacting with objective points.

We need the following in my opinion:
-Power axe for atleast bulwark
-Heavy flamer for heavy
- Wrist mounted weapons
-A rework of heavy plasma gun(either turn it into a Uber powerful cannon or give the balls of plasma aoe dot)
-A rework to heavy’s melee(add a knife or something idk)
-Lasguns
-Heavy lasgun(like a Gatling laser from fallout 3/nv(NOT the one from 4/76))
-Ability to FULLY customize armor colors(cloth/wargear/eyes/etc)
-More Armor types so you can actually look like the legion you wear the colors of
-A nerf to chaos shield grunts ability to block
-A nerf to the tyranid shooters damage(especially the three round burst shotgun guy)
-Emotes(I cant believe I’m actually advocating for emotes but I am, they’d be cool)
To expand on the new weapons mentioned:
The heavy flamer should work like a real life flame thrower, spits out a stream of liquid flame roughly 20ft maybe that sticks to everything it touches and burns it to death.
I just want to be able to play through solo. And if I choose a specific class for myself I want to be able to continue through with the specific class
We more than likely won't see older mark armors unless it's for chaos. I'm happy with what they have done. They have stuck to what the first space marine was. I'm just looking forward to more armor options for chaos and game modes.
It makes sense, Primaris Marines can't wear the older armor.
I want to see them expand into Grey Knight territory. I want that armor as a cosmetic
Would like to add more chapter markings like the flesh tearers or any other Blood Angels/Dark Angels successors
the customization option in the campaign is for the macragge's chosen dlc included with physical and collectors editions of the game, (lore accurate) customization, people are up in arms over customization option for a mode that 99% of people will play once for the experience
Being able to run campaign missions as an operations group would be great. That alone would add a lot of content to the operations mode.
I know some people will not agree, but I want the finishes to be a bit faster
That's not a bad idea maybe increase it by one increment or something.
@@GlitchUnlimitedIt's just maybe me that it feels a bit Janky and Unmercive when entering the finishers And I hope that spending it up will make it a bit easier
Especially on the chaos astartes
I like the longer invulnerability window personally.
For me personally it's fine just make execution regenerates HP like in the first game.
I hope there are updates in the future that make the bots better for people like me that play solo.
Tomb world is a necron tomb world as well fs
As someone who has already bought all the salamander heraldry and colors I would absolutely LOVE customization to allow for proper skin/eyes to really sell the customization even though for most content helmet discipline applies.
As for the customization in the campaign that would be odd since it’s canon characters so it feels a bit backwards to complain about.
The new enemy is almost definitely going to be Necrons given the way the campaign teased them at the end.
Campagin doesnt need armor customisation.
However multiplayer needs armor customisation and more weapons and even more armor + different head skins
We need more shoulder emblems. Or hell, give us a bunch of symbols so we can make our own or replace the chest filigree.
The pineapple wore a monocle while debating quantum physics with a confused jellyfish at the local library.
If they are going to make customisation a feature for the campaign, they should take the LEGO games route:
make it available when you’ve completed the mission, and can mess around in freeplay
Deathwatch armor for multiplayer makes so much sense. Every chapter can use it and chapters already mix together in multiplayer anyways. Having deathwatch armor would at least add a little lore accuracy
I’d like to see more choices for armor customization in the co-op or multiplayer for certain chapters
we really need some bug and server updates. wasted 40 minutes of my life on a bugged battery recharge mission and i had the correct directions. it just bugged out and the second console couldn't be touched. that was after multiple attempts to connect to randoms who may or may not drop before your mission starts. seriously though the operation missions are long enough without progress breaking bugs. it really hurts having my time wasted like that. also this isnt a small publisher. FOV can be done by smaller teams like gunfiregames for remant 2 and sm2 couldn't have it on release? SMH.
Honestly my biggest gripe, is I hope they make is so any class can team on operations. I hate the stare down of who is going to switch or just leave..
DLC chainsword skin and Crux Terminatus are pretty amazing. Was never sure why I got them haha
I am against a Salamander "Cosmetic" Geneseed or sth like that - because it would encourage more people to run around without helmets - and I totally hate that :D
That's just personal preference. Heaps of the models in the actual table top game (especially heros) don't wear helmets
10:46
meanwhile theres a glitch where if you have the dlc and buy the cosmetics they become locked again after restarting the game, wasting any currency you used to unlock them.
so people who didnt buy the dlc can unlock the colors but those who did buy them cant even use them without leaving their game on.
hope they can fix the former glitch soon as its annoying not having access to what I payed for
Why waste time and dev resources on a short campaign with little replay value.
Let’s gooooo! I am so ready for private pve servers
pretty sure the new enemy at 9:23 is gonna be the flying tyranid we saw in campaign as its too soon to introduce a new faction imho
Deathwatch Expansion after the season passes are done confirmed. XD
Where?
I would just REALLY appreciate if they handled the bug causing progression loss ASAP. People are starting to talk about it but we need to spread the word further.
I'd like to see chapter specific armor, like a legion of the damned customization.
The server bug seems to be on pc mostly
And cross play does fully mean crossplay
You CAN customize Titus. You just needed to pre-order the game to get the Macragge's Chosen DLC.
What I would like to see is having the Word Bearers and the Emperors Children Colours available.
I love that they stick to the lore but either way I would have preferred to be able to customize Titus in the campaign.
Bro, wave based Warhammer would be sick af!!
Having the ability to change the weapon load out of bots in campaign and PVE would be fantastic, and also improve bot AI in campaign.
QoL feature. PvP needs bigger parties than 3. I have a couple friends that wanted to play together for us to figure out that we can’t party up with more than 3 ppl
PvP has way bigger issues than that lol. Vanguards instagib combo, lag, bulwarks invincible shield, terrible audiovisual feedback.
Rather have full cross play support
I love that they keep Titus lore accurate no one gives af in the movie or TV industry keeping our devs responsible for lore accuracy is of upmost importance if you don't want to see the franchises you love get shat on like all the new flopping video game movies (aside from Mario that one was actually fire but there's not much lore to shit on either) allowing titus to wear certain things at certain times allows the customizations to exist while remaining lore accurate I believe it to be the only correct step
i stuck in loading severs most of the time when i play with my friends from Asian to US servers
It would be awesome if in a dlc they introduce orks back to sm2 I mean they already have a template for them from the first game
QoL fix: Ability to select which bots join your operations lobby. I'm tired of restarting my mission when I get an assault class as AI.
They got anti-cheat but that's actually useless and just goes to slow your game down. it sucks, i lost 3-4 levels one night thinking oh cool at least i don't have to deal with brain dead randos, only to wake up to my stuff being reset.
@@BlargMan100what this guy said. It only rolls back if you are playing offline. It never does a roll back online.
@@Thanatos-I No that's what i explained, it rerolls you the second you sign back in(ive been there). he said its happened 10 times implying he might not of known about the offline progress block. I merely gave context on why after the patch.
its crazy how ppl dont get that the CAMPAIGN IS LITERALLY ALL THE CLASSES AND IT INTRODUCES U TO EACH CLASS ACCORDING TO MISSION U CAN US ALL GUNS THE MAP HAS TO OFFFERS yoyr not confined to classes in campaign
I might be crazy but, if you keep getting stuck on joining server, i started making usre the squad skipped the cutscene directly after leaving the battle barge (the one where the ship flies away) and I made it in every single time. I used to only make it in like 1 in 10, and after this i got in like 8 in a row. try it and let me know
with relation to customizing in campaign, if games workshop says no there's nothing they can do really
