Mega Man Shattered Diamond brings classic, 8-bit styled Mega Man action back, complete with 4 unique playable characters! Choose Mega Man, Bass, Proto Man, or Roll, and take down Dr. Wily's latest scheme for world domination.
The game features:
-4 playable characters, each with their own unique weapon and playstyle.
-6 playable stages, with 5 completed robot master stages! Much more to come in the final release.
-Multiple beautifully crafted stages, complimented with a unique NES-accurate soundtrack.
-A fully functional shop that allows you to trade bolts you find in stages for items, and even sell items you don't need for some extra cash.
-Numerous difficulty and accessibility options in order to tailor the experience in a way that you can enjoy.

The game is still a work in progress, and we hope to gather feedback from this demo to help us improve the game further as we continue to work towards the final release!

The sprite work is selling me. As much as I love the old nes megaman sprite, this new one feels like its evolving into X and that is amazing.
it's actually inspired by MegaMans stature in the Wily Wars; except with 8-bit graphics.

I like how protoman works in the game, the more you charge, the more blasts you fire.

Wait a minute, I think this is like the first time I've seen someone make Roll playable in a classic style Mega Man game.

Soundtrack is important, and this sounds pretty good.
Actually classic Roll has been playable in official works such as Megaman Battle & Chase, Megaman Powered up, Marvel vs Capcom, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, and several fangames too, such as Megaman Rock 'n Roll, Mega Man Maker, Mega Man Perfect Blue, and I remember one other one but do not recall the name... But I do have to admit, that after playing Shattered Diamond myself, I find her the most fun here, cause of that freaking boomerang broom, and DuckTales style pogo stick attack.
Holy CRAP this looks amazing! Music, graphics, and even the story is great! Can't wait for this to see a full release! Edit: Also this needs to have the OST released day one. The music is fantastic so far.
Excited to test Roll's broom mechanics. Hope enough thought was put into room design / enemy placement to take advantage of her downwards attack.

megaman shattered diamond predates perfect blue by like half a decade....
And the community keeps doing what Capcom won't lol. From fangames like these, to modding official games like Megaman X Dive Offline in order to add Prometheus, I guess I'm just glad that even though Capcom hates Megaman, that they at least don't screw with the fans like Nintendo does with DCMAs and copyright claims.

Tsunami Man's Stage is fav Stage so far by it's design.
I also found stage tsunami to be very creative too.
Megaman has the Slide and Charge Shot!
Roll is basically her own Zero!
Protoman can stock Charge Shots!
Bass has a pretty epic rapid fire!
Seldom ever do I want to try out every character but this is one hell of an exception.
I can’t wait to try this out.
This looks great. It has a Mega Man 5 feel to it with the sound of the Mega Buster stopping the way it does while still charging. And the stages have a Mega Man 6 feel to them. It also looks like an official game! But as cool as this is, I wish more fan projects used graphics and sound like The Power Fighters instead of the NES, or at least Mega Man 7 or the Wily Wars.
It's incredible to see how the Genesis MegaMan sprite looks good in the NES style...
on the other hand...
FACK YES!!! Another MegaMan masterpiece!! I really love these fangames, they give them a lot of love to MegaMan... It will be an honor to enjoy it!!

I think those spikes placed above the second fan elevator on Breeze Man's stage was a bit cruel given there was no prior evidence that this could be the case beforehand (especially since it was beyond the screen's range with that vertical speed leading to a near unavoidable situation. It would have been better to have shown that there could be such death traps well within visual range before taking said fan elevator to warn the player. Level mechanic presentation and critical thinking without punishing the player with trial and error isn't easy to impliment without written tutorials/dialogue sometimes. I'm sure issues like this will be addressed before the final release.

Most fangames doesn't do a good job of matching the design of the originals, but so far at least this looks like it could have been made by Capcom themselves!

What does the new item with the "lightning/electricity" symbol on?
I haven't used this item yet, but there is an item with a magnetism symbol, which helps you get items from the levels, I found that interesting.
i guess its like an "emergency" revive, because earlier on the stage he go it, when fighting the boss and a debris fall over megaman it was for sure he would die, but then his life bar went up a little, after defeating the boss and saved the progress in the status screen the lighting item instead showing up as 1 it shown as 0 so thats why i think its an emergency revive because it got used in the boss fight.
