    Thanks! Everyone used to joke abt me having no passing technique and only being able to run with the ball, but this has rly helped me develop as a player. Looking forward to hopefully a very successful season now!

      thanks mate, ye if you watch some of the top passes in the game, notice the power they get from their legs. how is your pass?

      @@TheRugbyTrainerTV well for 1 I saw that my pass was reaching my target much quicker. But I also felt like I was in control of my pass much better.

      Seems counterintuitive to me. Like with throwing a punch. Your frontfoot is the opposite to the hand throwing the punch.
      But I'll like to experiment with this diff approach some day.

      @TheRugbyTrainerTV I've watched a few other videos but none addressed the hand placement as well as you, clear instructions & demonstrations using multiple camera angles helped show me where I was going wrong with my finger placement.
      The power element through the designated leg depending on what side you are throwing to is a big help too, but agree that once you are happy with step 2, 1 & 3 are far more important steps to where you want the ball to go

    I use a 3 point system for my juniors when passing
    1, early catch, make a camera shape with your hands take a picture of the ball.
    2, touch your front hip either left or right depending on which pass
    3, finish with your shoulder under your chin, which makes you finish at the target.
    It works great

    • @TheRugbyTrainerTV
      @TheRugbyTrainerTV  3 месяца назад

      The catch is a huge part of the game which we as players don't train enough of. with the camera shape, could you explain that a little more, I'd love to hear about it.

    There’s something so uncanny about these conversations. It’s like an AI approximation of human dialogue. It flows conversationally perfectly, yet says nothing. I’m choosing to call it liminal dialogue. It’s mesmerising and eerie and beautiful and freaky all at once, yet none at any point.
