Pasties for the first time! Muldoons in Munising Michigan !!

When you are in the UP of Michigan you must try the Pasties! Pasties were brought to the UP by Finnish and Cornish immigrants and eaten by the coal miners for lunch as it was a whole meal folded into a pastry shell. The traditional type is filled with beef and root vegetables, but you can get others! We tried the traditional, a chicken, a vegetable and a apple one at Muldoons Pasties & Gifts!
