Check out the Cincinnati Preservation website as they try to fight the destruction of the historic Sunlite pool.

It was announced in December of 2023 that the park would close for good.

So sad they closed Coney Island in Cincinnati. Nice you got to still go there before it closed. Hopefully they can reopen it and not demolish it :( especially for the pool's big 100! What a huge pool! And fun waterslides too. Looks light it is such a blast. I love the old photographs you shared of the park. Those are so neat! Thanks for sharing with us!

We were so excited to eventually go back there so it was super sad to hear the news and so sad it’s just to make another concert venue.. there is a big one right next to it.
