    A 1 year warranty on one of these systems is a huge red flag

    • @Freshnss
      @Freshnss  Год назад +1

      Right! That’s why we like the SpringWell with a lifetime warranty. You check more details out here bit.ly/39G8mdP 👌

    look at the cost of replacing the filter. If the canister is $1000 and filters are $100 is it really worth $900? Sounds like a DIY will be cheaper

      Hey Jeffrey - That is the difference between cartridge based systems and tank based systems. A cartridge system will cost less up front, but require cartridge filter replacements every 12 months or so. And a tank based system will cost a little more upfront, but be essentially maintenance free for about 10 years. A cartridge system is a littler easier to install and takes less space. If you want better performance and you plan on using the system for more than 5 years, a tank based system is ideal

      @@Freshnss thanks for the info

      Of course, my pleasure. What is the main issue you are battling? Do you have iron or sulfur issues? Or just generally trying to clean up your well water? That makes a difference too

      @@Freshnss No I'm lucky I have good water , I use my frig for drinking water and 1 filter is good for 200 gallons, so maybe 3 per year $50 per filter so not that bad. I was just thinking it might be a good idea to have a whole house unit just so I cook and clean with fresher water.

      Got it. That makes sense! In that case I would suggest the SpringWell or HomeMaster options. The SpringWell is a tank based option, and the HomeMaster is cartridge based. I have the SpringWell for 3 years now and love it.

    Do any of these systems filter out arsenic?

    • @Freshnss
      @Freshnss  Год назад +2

      Hey there! Yes, we have independently lab tested the SpringWell two times and it removed heavy metals including arsenic. If you really want to ensure nearly 0% contamination in your drinking water, a lot of people pair it with a point of use RO at the kitchen sink. You have tested your water it sounds like?

    • @TexasScout
      @TexasScout Год назад +1

      @@Freshnss Not tested yet, but we live 3.5 miles from a town (1500 Pop) that has it in their municipal water system. I don’t think we have it as we are in a sand 400 ft above that.

    • @Freshnss
      @Freshnss  Год назад +1

      Ah, I see. It might be worth just testing your well water in that case to see if you have arsenic or other contaminants. We get a lot of folks from TX doing well tests with us and I think you would be surprised by some of the results. You can check our two tests here, both options test for arsenic, but the Ultimate tests for the really nasty VOCs too. You can also get $10 off with our code FRESH10 right now. freshnss.com/water-test-kits/well-water-test-kits/ and it could be the case that your water is good and might not need to invest in a filter at all
