- In collaboration with Korean-based retailer Slow Steady Club, New Balance dropped a two-shoe 990 V5 set in late March. In today's video I'm reviewing both of these colourways, one in "Brown" and the second in a white-based "Paper" colour. Based on the description provided by SSC(Slow Steady Club), the brown color is designed to commemorate the ending of HOTEL990 which is a collaboration between SSC and New Balance.
And now HOTEL990 has been newly rebranded as HESHE WONDER which is solely managed by SSC.
The paper color signifies a new start as anything could be written on a new paper.
So overall, SSC and New Balance came up with this brown and paper collection to end HOTEL990 on a good note and welcome a new start.

Love the colors, but wish they didn't stamp the branding there. Not many areas to choose from for branding on the v5's, but perhaps replace the "V" like ALD collabs.
I actually like that hit of branding on the heel
The dark brown of med sole like eye of Eagle shape.as always the simple the better.
If I could I'd cop both. But I'm leaning for the paper fasho. Been wanting the stussys and these basically the same thing in my eyes
