This market feels completely detached from reality. There’s no historical precedent for valuations at these levels to hold up long-term, yet stocks just keep climbing. I don’t know if I should stay in or start taking profits ?
Yeah, it’s wild. Fundamentals seem irrelevant, and liquidity is doing all the heavy lifting. Personally, I have most of my investments managed by an advisor because trying to time this kind of market is impossible. Another great video, thanks! I think the market is over-heated. And I am concerned that people are focusing less on fundamentals and just chanting the mantra of dollar cost averaging and driving the market higher without considering fundamentals. It is a catch-22 for me. I mean I like stock prices going higher but I also hate buying over-priced stocks and ETFs. Personally, I have stopped buying growth ETFs- they are ridiculously over-valued. Dividend stocks and ETFs are a little better but they are still over-valued. There is some hope with small and mid caps. I am not sure they are undervalued but at least they are less over-valued..This pattern offers a valuable insight for strategic planning. Despite these trends, i have delve deeply into active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Kerrie Farrell, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Thanks, Tom! NVDA got a $400 million sell at 130.00 during the last 60 seconds of Friday. This might be the same funds that bought $1 billion at 124.75 a few days ago. My guess is that they're taking 40% of profits and will allow the price to climb higher next week after a sizable pullback. I won't be monitoring things as closely next week.

People are borrowing because now is 25% off because they think the future has tariffs. People think inflation will come back because they see a 25% rise in prices due to upcoming tariffs.
Personally, I think he’s going to say we need tax cuts to balance those tariffs. In reality the tax cuts will only go to the billionaires, and once he has those tax cuts he’ll stop talking about tariffs cause the goal all along was tax cuts for billionaires.
In the end the consumer always pays, that said pay the overseas rates or go back to building our own necessities and becoming self sufficient. Each state should be manufacturing anything they can and competing with the other 49 will develop the world's best economy ever seen.

Trump has set us up with a market catalyst for roughly the end of February, namely the threat of tariffs. All he needs to do is announce a "deal" with Canada and Mexico to avoid those threatened tariffs, which seems highly likely to happen, given the painful alternative for all involved, and the markets should be off to lunar orbit.

Homebuilders selling off is starting to actually make sense. Amount of open apartments going up. This won’t be relayed in the data because they are refusing to drop the prices per month. However they are offering incentives of 3 months free just to get ppl in. And supply is still increasing. Bailouts should not be offered to these companies as they were purposely misleading the data. This is nearly every complex in Florida.

Tesla is currently so richly valued that if it dropped 90% it would still be highly valued on a P/E basis. It's valued at 24X the PE ratio of Toyota (a much more successful automaker) based on the idea that the company would grow sales extremely quickly. But sales actually shrank in 2024 so I think it's in for a major correction.
It's already had a major correction, given that it's down by 25% from the highs. If you think it's going to get worse than that, then you're talking about a crash rather than a correction.

I don.t really know your risk tolerance or asset allocation, sounds like just bad stock picking. Also unclear if the advisor is providing any other value via financial planning or other decision making. But likely-scenario is just bad stock picks. Index -funds, Etfs and -chill.
You should de-finitely fire your advisor! That's a bad financial-advisor. Over 5O years of data reveal that those who work with fiduciary advisors typically earn more than those who go it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 6 years, resulting in a $3 million-portfolio.

Do you think there will come a time when the stock market will be lower than it is right now? I'd bet even most market bulls would agree "yes" because the market is both overvalued based on p/e's and on a technical basis. In fact it's not merely overbought on daily or weekly charts. Its very, VERY overbought on monthly, quarterly and even yearly time frames. That is, stocks and indexes are trading at prices that are waaaay above traditional long term moving averages. After all, this bull market stretches back to March 2009 and the S&P is up almost 1,000% since the infamous 666 intraday low that month. At some point a reversion to the means will bring stocks down to find support at those very long term moving averages. That's what bear markets traditionally do. Therefore this seems like a pretty good time to increase cash levels and simply be patient. It might take a year or two before this market experiences a deep retracement back to those MA's. But those who have cash available to exploit a deep bear market will be very richly rewarded in the future. In fact that one move might secure your entire financial future just as those who bought towards the end of the '08 - '09 bear market have experienced phenomenal, life changing gains.

ive been considering divesting out of the usa I got 100% profits in the past two years and im just not confident in the usa market anymore long term. honestly, from a historical point of view it's giving many concerning signals of a falling empire and I think the rest of the world may start experiencing more growth. I don’t believe we will see re-inflation on our current path. Deflation has a large lagging indicator. Housing. I think J POW is doing a fair job to fight inflation. However I do think he should have waited for a lower baseline before cutting. Yet to achieve a ‘soft landing’ the pilot must pull up before the bottom. His decision did precede an election so his intent is debatable. Every cut will ignite inflation for 3 months until a good CPI print comes in.
Don’t worry about the US consumers increasing their debt, they’re just investing it into crypto. Nothing can go wrong..
