- Bob Moje, FAIA is the recipient of the 2019 Noland Medal - the highest award bestowed by AIA Virginia to an architect. Bob's architectural portfolio is long and storied, featuring large-scale, decade-long transformations for school systems such as Manassas Park City Schools (1995-2009) and Winchester Public Schools (2001-2011) as well as the design and building of UVA's John Paul Jones Arena (1998-2006), VMDO's largest built project to date.
Bob's allegiance to his clients and their communities - doing whatever he can to uplift them and support their betterment through transformation - has defined his career and the ethos of service at VMDO. In Bob's words: "I've been fortunate to be a leader in VMDO, but it's not me. It's the work that everybody has done. And I think part of providing the highest professional standards is taking our clients and not treating them as clients, but treating them as the most precious thing that we have. How do we help them, with our skills, achieve their dreams?"
