Thank you SO MUCH for these tutorials, I am now making holders for ALL my DSP - made about ten of each today; 12x12 and 6x6 holders. I just love them! The pocket in the 12x12 is 👌 You make it so easy to learn…thank you. Can’t wait to check out your other videos after I get my bankers box full of organized DSP
Maymay, thank you for starting this organizer project. Between all these different sizes and purposes I'm able to be using up unloved cardstock and clean up my craft supplies at the same time.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have made a few of these for my 6 x 6 pads and LOVE them! They really help keep everything together. I used a 12 x 12 piece that had a frame around the outer part so I was able to use the extra piece to decorate it. Much cuter than a zip top bag. :-)
You know what I was just thinking? I love love love the 12x12 organizer. I do actually have quite a few sheets of poster board. I think instead of using my cardstock, I'll try recreating it with some poster board. Aka large sheets of card stock
Hello, I "fiddled" around with some "not-so" favorite papers & made something similar a few years back. Tried to make again, & silly me NEVER made a template with measurements...UGH! So, thanks so much for the measurements & templates for ALL of these!
Wow MayMay, thank you so much of an easy and quick tutorial. Have made one in now time, as instructions are so precise and clear! What i have actually did was to add a cardstock back panel to make to make it a bit more sturdy. And a pocket is such a genius idea! Just perfect to keep those bites and pieces that belong to the paper pads but keep falling out every time i try to take it out of the file folder.
Holy cow! I have been needing something for my 12x12's that didn't wipe out my bank account. As Goldilocks said, 'This is just right' Thank you from the bottom of my craft heart❤❤
Cool project! A pocket on the outside could reinforce the front of the container and make scraps more accessible. Also thank you as I need to make cardstock drawers for my secretary cabinet and this method gives my ideas.
Truly amazing! I don’t have a “spatial” cell in my brain! That’s what makes me appreciate you so very much! You can create 3-D objects from flat pieces of paper like an engineer…yes! You really are an engineer! We’re going to bestow on you an honorary doctorate of packaging design engineering. This type of engineering actually describes you pretty darn well! You’re one smart lady, Dr. Helms!
I have been wanting to store may 12x12 pads with the strip at the top in something for awhile and keep the scraps with the books. It seems that many of the paper pads don’t stay glued together as well as they use to years ago. I have most in drawers, but the ones with the strips at the top don’t fit in the drawers. I love this idea, MayMay! I love the look of your storage folders and that you can see the covers. Thank you! I plan on either buying a solid color 12x12 paper pack, or using poster board trimmed down as the folders.
Thank you for all of wonderful tutorials on making these organizers! They all will be so very helpful to me. I will be making one small change to mine, I will be putting pockets on the back of all of mine for scraps. I tend to look through my scraps first so that will make it easier for me to find them. Thanks!
I think using those large scale scrapbook pages would be great for making these 12x12. Put the large writing on the outside to make it pretty and inspirational 😊love it
Really cool and well designed! I think I'll try by using Tyvek paper - yeah the kind they use for insulating houses. It doesn't tear! I also will make pockets by just putting a large envelope inside as I think I would have trouble really reaching down into the back to retrieve all the scraps in order to use. Your 12 x 12 is really nice - the scraps are such a pain and I really want to use them up!
Maymay...you are a genius! I can't imagine trying to come up with the method and measurements to create these! So brilliant! Thanks so much for taking the time and effort that went into making these paper pad storage solutions!! I appreciate you! 🩷 Suzy xo
I made the 12x12. Since I have so many paper pads, I put the name of the paper on the bound side. I placed the pad in the storage folder and laid it on its side. This way I can see what paper is inside. The solves the issue of having a label on the actual folder.
OMG Maymay. You sure did showcase your Ingeniousity with your Beyond Brilliant Paper Organization!!! You truly never cease to amaze and leaving me in Jaw dropping Awe!! My goodness to watch in you in Creative action is totally Mesmerizing and seeing IS Believing when all is said and done!! Thanks for your Outstandingly detailed Tutorial and sharing Your Tremendously Terrific Tips, Tricks & Techniques!! YOU DO ROCK!!!!! Joan ☕️☕️Smith
This is amazing. Something I have needed for a long time. Thank you so much for all the effort you have put in making these sleeves. You are a genius xx
These are absolutely brilliant! Have made a stack of 6x6, tried my hand at an 8x8 a couple of days ago and was going to figure out if a 12x12 was possible. Saw you mention you were doing 12x12 on Saturday, so that's what I'm going to be doing later today! Love how organised my scraps are going to be! Thank you ❤
Great I came across your site these are wonderful as I’m just in the process of fixing up my craft room and these will be fabulous as I have a lot of paper packs thank you for sharing regards from Coonabarabran NSW Australia cheers
Hi! These paperholders are fantastic! I like the pocket inside for the small scraps so they don't get scrunched or lost. These are easy to make with Maymay's directions. 😊
These are all so very awesome. I have been adding a pocket to the back of my paper pad for my scraps but this is so much better as I can ditch the plastic sleeve it came in AND as an added bonus, keep the ephemera with the paper. You continue to amaze me. Keep up the fabulous work you do. Absolutely love your channel. Caz from Australia
On the side, you can punch a hole at the top,add an eyelet and then you can hang a tag with what’s in the folder instead of writing, or adding a sticky label that you gotta try and remove and possibly damage the side of the folder. Just change your tag for your next paper pad. By the way brilliant storage idea!!!! Thank you!!!!
I dropped everything and I made one! It turned out perfectly! I put my paper and my scraps in there and now my scraps won’t get all bent up. yea!!! Thanks so much!
I totally love these! You have made all the measurements for us! Thank you so much!! I wonder if maybe making these with poster board would be even sturdier? It may be harder to score them though…hmmm 🤔
I think it might work if you make the posterboard the exact size of the back. Just glue or tape to the one made out of cardstock. No gussets so that you don't have to try scoring it. As some people suggested, you could then tape or glue a large envelope to the back to hold scraps. 😊
Thank you so much for showing us how to make this 12X12 folder, some of my papers don't come in pads, they are loose, so this will work perfectly! You are amazing, I am so glad I found your site! Joan
Personally, I world add a piece of clear acrylic on the front opening of the 12x12 holder because it looks pretty flimsy the acrylic will firm it up - at least 3-4”.
After you've MADE the 12x12, make a 2-3" belly band to glue around the bottom to add stability if you want. Boy --- All kinds of ideas just from the thought! Thx, MayMay. You are the Queen of Paper Construction.
Just a thought....could a pocket be made on the back of the holder for scraps? I've taken sturdy plastic bags and taped them on the back of some of my 12X12 paper pads for scraps. Maymay, thanks for coming up with these practical design and sharing them for us!
Maymay, Great video. I think I'd like to see if the pocket could go in the front of the paper pack or make a removable pocket so I could pull my scraps out instead of pulling the paper pack out every time. 🤔 😊
Love all the sizes and have made quite a few already but in Australia we have a brand of paper that is 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 we love if you could work something for us thanks . Love watching your videos

Love the paper holders especially the 12 x 12 with the pocket for scraps. I put my pocket in front.
Maymay, thank you for starting this organizer project. Between all these different sizes and purposes I'm able to be using up unloved cardstock and clean up my craft supplies at the same time.
Love these. Think I will use chipboard for the back of the 12 x 12. Thank you for all your time and ideas. 😊

Now we need one for 8/1/2 x 11 card stock.
Make it like the one for 12 x 12 but use 3 pieces of 8 1/2 x 11 paper

This works. You can decorate them to match you craft room
I love these so much! Thank you!!

I love these paper holders. 2 of them could be glued together back to back if needed to make room for scraps and ephemera.
You could also use the designer’s strip you cut off the paper to label the side spine.

Love all these storage contacts nerds. Now I just need one for my 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. My shelves are going to be so pretty 😊
I add some double stick adhesive in addition to the glue for the back flap to add additional strength.
This is a great storage solution! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Maymay! A pocket! That is so smart!! I love it!
Thank you for all of wonderful tutorials on making these organizers! They all will be so very helpful to me. TFS, brilliant Maymay.xx
Thank you soooooo much for the 8x8 measurements. All of my little pads are out of drawers and on display now so I don’t forget them. Thanks so much!
I think using those large scale scrapbook pages would be great for making these 12x12. Put the large writing on the outside to make it pretty and inspirational 😊love it

That’s a great idea. I have tags made and wondered what to do with them.
You are brilliant. I made the 6x6 and the 6x8 and was trying to figure out how to make the two sizes you just showed. Love it
Hi Maymay so cool so have a good day.
I love this!!! I would like to see ink storage .
You are brilliant!
I dropped everything and I made one! It turned out perfectly! I put my paper and my scraps in there and now my scraps won’t get all bent up. yea!!! Thanks so much!
Yay wahoo 12 x 12 thank you x
I totally love these! You have made all the measurements for us! Thank you so much!! I wonder if maybe making these with poster board would be even sturdier? It may be harder to score them though…hmmm 🤔
Yea Thank You for the 12x12. It’s wider than what I need but I can use it for multiple pkgs!!😁😁😁
Super! Thanks Maymay!
These are so great! You are a genius! I wonder if we could use poster board on the 12X12 ones? Hmmmm

Oh thank you for teaching us how to make these and for the measurements!
Wonderful for organization of papers!!!!!❤

So excited! Thanks Maymay! 🧡

OMG I can’t wait to create. Thank you! ❤
These are awesome!!!!
Awesome. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤❤
After you've MADE the 12x12, make a 2-3" belly band to glue around the bottom to add stability if you want.
Boy --- All kinds of ideas just from the thought!
Thx, MayMay. You are the Queen of Paper Construction.
Thank you! ❤️
I love these. Thank you!
Thank you so much this is exactly what I need ❤❤❤
Can’t wait to make the 12 x 12 tomorrow!!
Could you show us how to make them with bigger side folds for packaging that is thicker
This is the one I’ve been waiting for, thank you!!!
Can you make the A2 cards holder that will hold envelopes too for gifting the sets please ❤️
Great job, Maymay!!
Brilliant. I’m so excited to make several 12x12! Thank you.
Oh goodie!! I made the other ones you made until I ran out of 12x12 white paper. Now I need more!!!!
Just a thought....could a pocket be made on the back of the holder for scraps? I've taken sturdy plastic bags and taped them on the back of some of my 12X12 paper pads for scraps. Maymay, thanks for coming up with these practical design and sharing them for us!
I love this idea! Thqnk you May May for tqking the time to figure how to make these paper storage organizers.
Ya Baby❤
Could also be made in chipboard ❤
This is awesome! I wonder if it can be done with chipboard or maybe just chipboard on the inside for the front and back:)
I too would love to see a pocket on the front or the back
Thanks for all of your helpful videos. By the way where did you get the beaded pencil?
I just love watching you make things with paper. Where do you get the gun for the glitter glue?
Hi that is the Precision Glue Press bit.ly/3Zlrgwi
On the 12 by 12 for the front maybe put vellum it would still show the paper on the inside and give the outside a little more stability.
Maymay, Great video. I think I'd like to see if the pocket could go in the front of the paper pack or make a removable pocket so I could pull my scraps out instead of pulling the paper pack out every time. 🤔 😊
I use an old envelope, remove the flap & glue to back of the pads to hold the scraps, works great
I like that idea!
Me too! 😊
Love all the sizes and have made quite a few already but in Australia we have a brand of paper that is 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 we love if you could work something for us thanks . Love watching your videos
These are great! Do you have one for 8 1/2x11?
