Men don't see enough positive in a long-term relationship with a woman anymore. what did a long-term relationship a.k.a marriage offer a man in the past: - he could build a family and has his own offspring he knew about (monogamy) - he had somebody who did the majority of the household and he had someone who could care for his family - they got a companion for life - they had more time to pursue other things (work, hobbies, political ambition) - married men were socially more accepted than bachelors in society - it was more unlikely for married men to go to war - in some countries only married men could buy land or get into political positions - if it goes south (adultery of the woman) his kids were his and his wealth were his after marriage. - many men didn't have to compete with the numerous former partners of the wife - he has a sex partner until he can't anymore (I'm against marital rape, but a companion should share the bed with the partner once in a while) in return they had to fulfill some roles and had responsibilities: - they had to take care of their family - they were responsible for the family's wellbeing and they don't break the law. But today: - women have nowadays a higher body count than most men, and the men have to be better than everyone before him - many men have to raise the kids of other men and many women don't want children - women got lazy and can't do the housework anymore or refuse it. split housework but he has to work as much as before. (same as a bachelor life) - most feminist indoctrinated women see marriage, not as companionship between two people to push each other to new heights. they see it as a contract to get more wealth without responsibilities - marriage brings fewer privileges for men (taxes, laws, divorce) - being a bachelor is more accepted than ever - she can divorce him anytime and take most of his wealth even if she earns more than him (~50% of marriages get divorced and women in the majority are initiating the divorce, oftentimes because she is unhappy) - divorced men lose nearly everything. most of the wealth they accumulated, they have to pay the former wife for years, they lose their children. Many women prevent the men from seeing their children. - many women have total control over the sex life (everything he does is rape, everything she wants is his obligation) but still, he has to take care of the family. - his money is the families money - her money is her money - he is most likely responsible if something goes wrong. In my opinion. Women got much more freedom and have nearly none of the obligations the man had and have. Men have to fulfill even higher standards as in the past. While women can choose which standards will be held toward them. Men need a companion to reach their full potential. But most women refuse to fulfill their roles in relationships. And in the end everybody loses

However, over the years the movement was trivialized and its meaning changed. Today, feminists want to be treated the same as men and also want to behave like a man. But it never was what Chivalry was about . So your definition of Chivalry never did exist in history. At least not with Knights. And Knights are specialized , landed heavy cavalry. That's Chivalry. Combat Horse Mastery. So is Chivalry dead? If you mean the true definition of Chivalry I would say it is. But what replaced the horse in battle? Armor Personnel Carrier. We non-feminists just aren't running around screaming like the feminists are; we're quietly dating a nice guy whom we plan to marry; or we're caring for children who will have TWO parents. And back in my great-great-(etc.)-grandmother's era, we were even the norm in Western nations. I believe feminism, like Yersinia pestis, will eventually be cured. I’m married to, my husband rocks. We share chores but I do the bulk of laundry, grocery shopping & cooking because it needs to get done & I like to cook. We run a business together too & have a good arrangement. I’m sure some of these people would consider me some controlled woman by him, I’ve dealt with that attitude before from these types. They all have one thing in common no husband, boyfriend or anyone & miserable existence which is why they have time to judge my life. I have a great life compared to those people & I’m proud of it.

Men approach women with respect by not forcing themselves upon the woman, when they so easily could (and so frequently do in less refined cultures). Chivalry was an extension of this; a mating ritual, like a dance... less about respect, more about everyone knowing their place and role. The man approaches with semi-feigned reverence; the woman responds gracefully. Both sides perform a stylised version of their broader life roles - the man providing for the woman, the woman submitting and showing softness/kindness. It's a dance, and feminism gave women two left feet.

I remember when I was little back in the 90s there were t-shirts you could buy that said “boys are dumb, throw rocks at them.” I remember that made me angry, and thinking “I have a little brother, don’t throw rocks at my brother. That’s not funny.” Anyway, that’s how I started being skeptical of this anti-boys feminist stuff. When I was ready to get married I basically just said I wasn’t a feminist on my dating profile, and it took me 1 day to find the guy I eventually married. So, ladies, this is on you.
Yeah, I remember that T-shirt saying and it was offensive to me back then, when like you, I was much more in favor of feminism, (whatever that means, I have always worked among both men and women and believe in individual equality and freedom for all). That statement was actually one of those early feminist hypocrisies that began my red pill transformation back in those days. It just didn't make sense to me that while we were constantly being angrily scolded by feminists for any perceived disrespect towards women, they were being told that it was ok to completely disrespect us as a whole gender. Bizarre really, when you think about it. It bothered me then and that type of stuff is still happening today.

That's just gonna end in catastrophe. Nature built two sexes because it's the best way for a species to thrive. One can't survive without the other. Not just because of procreation but also because of how both sexes behave. The behaviour of one sex is kept in check by the other sex and they also need one another to survive even if both sexes live in isolation. Look at most cat species, they live in complete isolation but still require each other for protection. Just look at how hens behave when roosters are taken out for experiments or rats or guinea pigs. A similar thing actually happened to me. I used to call myself a feminist for a small portion of my life and I can confirm feminism and wokeness in general is very cult-like. I started obsessing over how women and minorities were portrayed in media and it made me miserable and angry all the time. I would see sexism and racism in literally everything even if it wasn't really there. No nuanced opinions or hot takes, just the same catchphrases repeated over and over again. You develop your worldview completely through Social media, and especially when you're young and don't know much about the world. It truly makes you miserable.
This is why my children are not allowed on social media. This is also why I question them all the time about what they are told by their teachers in school.

I was raised by a feminist, and I can confirm. You can't unsee it either, I'm still occasionally pulled out of the present by the feminist "voice" in my head. More and more it's hard to watch main stream entertainment for all the misandry. Had a therapist where I opened up to her about my doubts towards the dating atmosphere. She asked me what I should change about myself. I asked what makes her think I need to change. She implied I felt some sort of guilt. I proceeded to ask her what exactly I had done to warrant guilt. I'm being gaslit in therapy.

I made the mistake of my first attempt at a major being in graphic design. To which he rebutted with some remark about how his laptop will retain its value better, and them I cut him off to explain to him that because returns on investment are the deprecition value subtracted from the resale value, me throwing away my $600 rig was actually a better return on investment than him reselling his $2000 for $800, because he was out $1200 and I was only out $600. At which point the blue haired political lesbian at the front of the room chimed in, with a voice so laden with vocal fry if would make any mad beg for the Doom music to kick in so he has something jam to as he walks over and does the lord's work by erasing this obvious mistake within humanity, "Do You RealiZe, You Just Offended EveryOne here!?!". About 10 years ago, one of my very good friends could not get a boyfriend and constantly complained about it to me. If feminism truly and honestly was all about creating equal opportunities and being treated with respect and courtesy, then that's one thing. I became a feminist because my friends were feminists. I would hear things that I myself disagreed with, but I just tagged along and repeated everything others said because I didnt want them to come at me. Id keep trying to 'educate' others around me, and I fell down that Spiral of Toxic Feminism where I said things like KAM and AMAT. It always felt wrong, but of course, the wonderful feminists had an explaination for that too: I just had too much internalized misogyny. Its when I tried to 'educate' my dad on why women are oppressed and why men in general are bad (things that had been told to me by others and were sold to me as the truth) and he asked me something along the lines of what men did to me personally to oppress me that I took a step back and actually thought about it. And I came to the conclusion: Men did nothing to me. Nothing to make them deserving of me telling them to literally D ! E or that they are trash for just EXISTING. And through having more talks about Feminism with my dad (the only person in my life who thinks critically about feminism) and reading a few books, I actually realised: Modern Feminism has only done bad things. For others, and for me personally. I started being scared of walking past men. Not because I had had bad experiences with walking past men, but because feminists told me to be scared. I was taught to fear, hate and generalize men by feminism. My standards in men rose at the same time as I was trashtalking them. Its kinda funny, really, looking back. I was wishing for a tall, fit, rich, compassionate, smart, educated, hot, sucessfull man while also telling men on the daily that they were trash. What irony, to want a perfect man so bad while also wanting men to stop existing. Feminism made me feel bad. It made me feel ashamed for my thoughts whenever I disagreed with something all feminists agreed on. Feminism made me feel bad for wanting to learn how to bake, sew, cook, knit etc. It made me feel hateful towards men even though they did nothing to me. It made me feel bad for wanting to be a housewife with children. I tried to convince myself for so LONG that I hate children, I never want to have children and I only want a good career. But thats not the truth. The truth is, I WANT children. I want to be a housewife. I dont want a career. I want to marry and be happy. I dont need to be a rich "Power Woman". And I dont want to be that. But Feminism makes girls and women like me feel bad for wanting to be a traditional housewife with children that can cook, bake and sew. The most valuable relationship you can have growing up as a young lady is the relationship you have with your father. Often, your father will teach you about the values that make a proper lady prosper and find a good man. I usually answer them with a question of my own. “How many other relationships do you have where you have signed a legal document and a license that will force you to go to a court to terminate that relationship?” "For example, have you and your best friend signed a best friend license?" Of course the answer is no. Imagine you have a best friend license and before you can stop being friends with that person you have to file a lawsuit. You will need to hire attorneys and a judge has to approve you no longer being best friends. Then that judge can legally take some of your assets and give them to your former best friend against your will. That judge can also order you to pay a monthly amount ongoing into the future to that former best friend. Of course, we all see how ridiculous that would be. You would never sign a best friend's license. A marriage license should be viewed the same way. Voluntarily bringing governmental and judicial oversight into any of your personal relationships is insanity. Voluntarily giving family courts the authority to seize your property and income streams, and give them to another person sometime in the future, is irrational and self-destructive and should never be done under any circumstances.

what did a long-term relationship a.k.a marriage offer a man in the past:
- he could build a family and has his own offspring he knew about (monogamy)
- he had somebody who did the majority of the household and he had someone who could care for his family
- they got a companion for life
- they had more time to pursue other things (work, hobbies, political ambition)
- married men were socially more accepted than bachelors in society
- it was more unlikely for married men to go to war
- in some countries only married men could buy land or get into political positions
- if it goes south (adultery of the woman) his kids were his and his wealth were his after marriage.
- many men didn't have to compete with the numerous former partners of the wife
- he has a sex partner until he can't anymore (I'm against marital rape, but a companion should share the bed with the partner once in a while)
in return they had to fulfill some roles and had responsibilities:
- they had to take care of their family
- they were responsible for the family's wellbeing and they don't break the law.
But today:
- women have nowadays a higher body count than most men, and the men have to be better than everyone before him
- many men have to raise the kids of other men and many women don't want children
- women got lazy and can't do the housework anymore or refuse it. split housework but he has to work as much as before. (same as a bachelor life)
- most feminist indoctrinated women see marriage, not as companionship between two people to push each other to new heights. they see it as a contract to get more wealth without responsibilities
- marriage brings fewer privileges for men (taxes, laws, divorce)
- being a bachelor is more accepted than ever
- she can divorce him anytime and take most of his wealth even if she earns more than him (~50% of marriages get divorced and women in the majority are initiating the divorce, oftentimes because she is unhappy)
- divorced men lose nearly everything. most of the wealth they accumulated, they have to pay the former wife for years, they lose their children. Many women prevent the men from seeing their children.
- many women have total control over the sex life (everything he does is rape, everything she wants is his obligation)
but still, he has to take care of the family.
- his money is the families money
- her money is her money
- he is most likely responsible if something goes wrong.

I’m married to, my husband rocks. We share chores but I do the bulk of laundry, grocery shopping & cooking because it needs to get done & I like to cook. We run a business together too & have a good arrangement. I’m sure some of these people would consider me some controlled woman by him, I’ve dealt with that attitude before from these types. They all have one thing in common no husband, boyfriend or anyone & miserable existence which is why they have time to judge my life. I have a great life compared to those people & I’m proud of it.

Yeah, I remember that T-shirt saying and it was offensive to me back then, when like you, I was much more in favor of feminism, (whatever that means, I have always worked among both men and women and believe in individual equality and freedom for all). That statement was actually one of those early feminist hypocrisies that began my red pill transformation back in those days. It just didn't make sense to me that while we were constantly being angrily scolded by feminists for any perceived disrespect towards women, they were being told that it was ok to completely disrespect us as a whole gender. Look at most cat species, they live in complete isolation but still require each other for protection. Just look at how hens behave when roosters are taken out for experiments or rats or guinea pigs.

A similar thing actually happened to me. I used to call myself a feminist for a small portion of my life and I can confirm feminism and wokeness in general is very cult-like. I started obsessing over how women and minorities were portrayed in media and it made me miserable and angry all the time. I would see sexism and racism in literally everything even if it wasn't really there. No nuanced opinions or hot takes, just the same catchphrases repeated over and over again. You develop your worldview completely through Social media, and especially when you're young and don't know much about the world. It truly makes you miserable.
This is why my children are not allowed on social media. This is also why I question them all the time about what they are told by their teachers in school.

Before the coof, i was out shopping and leaving a shop. the lady behind me was overloaded with bags, i would have struggled to open a door carrying that kind of load, so i held the door open for her. She fixed with a hateful glare and said i was being sexist, and she didn't need my help. I shrugged, let go of the door, and then went on my way. She came running after me screaming that i had no manners and should have held the door open for her. If I'm going through a door and see someone, anyone going either way who is carrying stuff, i hold the door open for them. its called being polite, not a microaggression.

I made the mistake of my first attempt at a major being in graphic design. I can recall an incident where the gentleman beside me, who figured himself a computer expert despite the fact he wouldn't grasp the concept of a loop back address if you literally plugged an ethernet cable from one ethernet port to another on the same machine right in front of him... well, he decided to lean over and ask me how I planned to do my work on my non-Apple laptop. I looked over at his computer, began to rattle off the specs of both, and point out where mine was superior, as well as to point out I wasn't even using photoshop or Illustrator but instead using Gimp 2 and Inscape, and had gotten a higher score than him on our previous assignment which had just been graded and returned to us. To which he rebutted with some remark about how his laptop will retain its value better, and them I cut him off to explain to him that because returns on investment are the deprecition value subtracted from the resale value, me throwing away my $600 rig was actually a better return on investment than him reselling his $2000 for $800, because he was out $1200 and I was only out $600.
At which point the blue haired political lesbian at the front of the room chimed in, with a voice so laden with vocal fry if would make any mad beg for the Doom music to kick in so he has something jam to as he walks over and does the lord's work by erasing this obvious mistake within humanity, "Do You RealiZe, You Just Offended EveryOne here!?!". To which of course I replied, "Do you realize I don't care and I'll do it again, and again, and again just to amuse myself with the foolishness of those around me?" And then ofcourse I pointed out the thing that really offended her was objective reality, and proved it by demonstrating that everything I had said was grounded in reality. And that by stating she was offended by what I said, she had demonstrated she had absolutely nothing better to come back with, she could not refute a word of it, and I challenged her.
Not a single soul spoke after that. In fact, the whole department didn't speak to me after that, I was effectively excommunicated. Which was frankly the best part of it all, not having to chat with those insufferable people.

About 10 years ago, one of my very good friends could not get a boyfriend and constantly complained about it to me. When we talked the reasons through and only thing she would say was "guys are assholes and I don't trust any one them". Third-wave feminists believe not in equal opportunities or being treated with respect, but instead believe that they are God and they should be worshiped by everyone.

I would hear things that I myself disagreed with, but I just tagged along and repeated everything others said because I didnt want them to come at me.
Id keep trying to 'educate' others around me, and I fell down that Spiral of Toxic Feminism where I said things like KAM and AMAT.
It always felt wrong, but of course, the wonderful feminists had an explaination for that too: I just had too much internalized misogyny.
Its when I tried to 'educate' my dad on why women are oppressed and why men in general are bad (things that had been told to me by others and were sold to me as the truth) and he asked me something along the lines of what men did to me personally to oppress me that I took a step back and actually thought about it.
And I came to the conclusion: Men did nothing to me.
Nothing to make them deserving of me telling them to literally D ! E or that they are trash for just EXISTING.
And through having more talks about Feminism with my dad (the only person in my life who thinks critically about feminism) and reading a few books, I actually realised:
Modern Feminism has only done bad things.
For others, and for me personally.
I started being scared of walking past men.
Not because I had had bad experiences with walking past men, but because feminists told me to be scared.
I was taught to fear, hate and generalize men by feminism.
My standards in men rose at the same time as I was trashtalking them.
Its kinda funny, really, looking back.
I was wishing for a tall, fit, rich, compassionate, smart, educated, hot, sucessfull man while also telling men on the daily that they were trash.
What irony, to want a perfect man so bad while also wanting men to stop existing.
Feminism made me feel bad.
It made me feel ashamed for my thoughts whenever I disagreed with something all feminists agreed on.
Feminism made me feel bad for wanting to learn how to bake, sew, cook, knit etc.
It made me feel hateful towards men even though they did nothing to me.
It made me feel bad for wanting to be a housewife with children.
I tried to convince myself for so LONG that I hate children, I never want to have children and I only want a good career.
But thats not the truth.
The truth is, I WANT children.
I want to be a housewife.
I dont want a career.
I want to marry and be happy.
I dont need to be a rich "Power Woman".
And I dont want to be that.
But Feminism makes girls and women like me feel bad for wanting to be a traditional housewife with children that can cook, bake and sew.
Its making young girls believe that men are bad and that they need to hate them.

I don’t know if this will help or not. Once you become an ideologue, you trade-in being a strong, independent human to become a mouthpiece for doctrine. That’s it. You’re barely “you” anymore, you are just a dogma drone which can be replaced by every other similar thinking twit who will parrot the exact same phrases without critical thought.
Be who you are instead and have your own thoughts and voice - much more interesting and original.

Wow you really got it out of your system. Thank you, though. I don't often get to know the point of view of girls who were former feminists. The most valuable relationship you can have growing up as a young lady is the relationship you have with your father. Often, your father will teach you about the values that make a proper lady prosper and find a good man. Girls without that relationship will often turn promiscuous, lack virtue, and develop hatred towards men.
Personally & professionally feminists have screwed me over far worse than any man could. The example they attempt to create for women is appalling & I despise having to live it down everyday. There are women in this world who really do suffer but this bunch could careless about them.

@@NotQuiteFirst at least Transformers, GI Joe, and other Toy selling cartoons have entertainment value, and to a degree their effectiveness of their advertising depended on kids liking the characters and their story to make them want to own/collect all the toys.

In my CPA practice, clients often ask how I feel about marriage.
I usually answer them with a question of my own.
“How many other relationships do you have where you have signed a legal document and a license that will force you to go to a court to terminate that relationship?”
"For example, have you and your best friend signed a best friend license?"
Of course the answer is no.
Imagine you have a best friend license and before you can stop being friends with that person you have to file a lawsuit. You will need to hire attorneys and a judge has to approve you no longer being best friends.
Then that judge can legally take some of your assets and give them to your former best friend against your will. That judge can also order you to pay a monthly amount ongoing into the future to that former best friend.
Of course, we all see how ridiculous that would be.
You would never sign a best friend's license. A marriage license should be viewed the same way.
Voluntarily bringing governmental and judicial oversight into any of your personal relationships is insanity.
Voluntarily giving family courts the authority to seize your property and income streams, and give them to another person sometime in the future, is irrational and self-destructive and should never be done under any circumstances.
