      Thank you! It is still a very good drone if you out a caddx vista in there, with a GoPro is very compelling as it is lighter and more efficient than the cinelog, it's just that it could have been perfect it they cared a little bit more about the design

      @@Rimzler but do you think the performance would be significantly better? At least for the type of flying you do?

    • @Rimzler
      @Rimzler  7 месяцев назад +1

      A 3.5 freestyle is a great type of drone, making this ductless you have to manage o3 mounting and wire placement so it's hard, but losing a ton of weight and aerodynamic drag! I do believe this kind of ducts make the drone 5/10% more efficient tho

    • @Rimzler
      @Rimzler  7 месяцев назад +1

      It's not quality check, but the whole design issue, how can you overlook a key feature like that

    • @VinchysVisuals
      @VinchysVisuals 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@Rimzler you are right, I stand corrected it is design issue. I speak for my experience about their quality check specifically on the Pavo Pico v2 and Pavo20 which I still love lol

    • @Rimzler
      @Rimzler  7 месяцев назад +1

      They have both design and quality issues, like the Pavo pico having jello is still a design issue imho, but other times they had escs burning and stuff like that that's quality issue
      I think design issue is worse because it affect all drones from a lineup and it's just lazy and intentional, and it's a shame really cause they would make great stuff if it wasn't for this oversights

  • @ShaneInseine
    @ShaneInseine 7 месяцев назад +3

    So basically, there are a lot of better drones in the same category? Some of the things it sounds like you'd have to put up with are going to be deal killers for most people. Pavo PIco is my current favorite drone, not because its perfect or great, but because it is reliably fun, stable, and useful. I think it sounds like the next version of this will be worth adding to the collection.

    • @Rimzler
      @Rimzler  7 месяцев назад

      It's still a solid drone imho, just not for O3, if you put a caddx vista and use with GoPro, is gonna be great and possibly better than cinelog35, as it seems much more efficient and lighter, I will do exactly that and try it

    • @Fall2Flight
      @Fall2Flight 7 месяцев назад +2

      @@Rimzler In my mind, that's like saying "this motorcycle isn't that bad, all you have to do is put bicycle wheels on it and it will run fine!" 😂 On a side note, I really enjoy your videos! Keep up the good work!

    • @Rimzler
      @Rimzler  7 месяцев назад

      @Fall2Flight ahhahaha i mean the main focus on this drone is carrying a gopro like camera, so if you don't plan to use the o3 recording it is very fine, since the drone is sold without camera you can also add caddx vista, or any other camera and for those is still very good!
      The issue is that is marketed as for o3 and really has not been designed with it in mind, and it required minimal effort to make it work with it!
      But people not using o3 will have no issues with it, I will too put a vista and use it on jobs!

    hello ! I really like your videos! I already searched your channel and I can't find a tutorial on how to connect the DJI RC controller to the beta fpv drones. I would like to be able to buy the pavo 20 and the pavo 25.

    • @Rimzler
      @Rimzler  7 месяцев назад +2

      There is no video I made about that, should make one, anyway it's not bad, you should have instructions on betafpv also, but if you are in doubt ask me on Instagram dm I'll guide you!
      Anyway you should get the o3 PNP version if you also use DJI radio, connect the o3 to drone using the provided cable and that's it, installed!
      Then activate the o3 in DJI assistant, bind to rc and goggles, it should already be working with the drone, to modify switches just go into the modes tab in betaflight and customize

    I am starting with fpv ATM and searching for a 2.5/3.5 cinewhoop (need to carry a cam for cinematic purpose) what do you recommend more, the PAVO 35 or the CINELOG 35v2? but would like to use it for freestyle as well (not the main focus tho)
    i use the o3 unit (but no problems finding a workaround at the pavo)
    btw love your reviews! keep up the good work..

      If you want to use o3 and do some lighter freestyle without GoPro on top absolutely go with cinelog35, otherwise for vista Both are good

  • @creativesymon
    @creativesymon 7 месяцев назад +3

    Took the bumps well. Probably would get near the 10 mins if it was just cruising around a car dealers etc.
    Super stupid to design it for the O3 and then not have access to the micro SD (My-cro) holder. A proper "wtf" moment.

    • @Rimzler
      @Rimzler  7 месяцев назад +2

      It's very efficient and flies great! It's very well done overall! This is BETAFPV trademark: they have incredible ideas, make good quality stuff but almost always forget about some deal breaking feature... I tried telling them many times, it looks like they don't test their products, they should send prototypes out and get some proper feedback! It's a shame because it would have been probably better than the cinelog 35 if it wasn't for the o3 jello and reach issues

    • @befru
      @befru 6 месяцев назад

      That is a complete deal breaker for me. The biggest advantage of the O3 is that the video quality is so good that an external camera usually isn't required for non-professional stuff. Not being able to quickly get the video files defeats the purpose of a cinewhoop.
