    You give the correct method. Using something under the hands is very smart as well. I started with a carpeted surface, then hardwood, up to the sidewalk. Keeping the fingers bent is the way to the true results.

    and someone like me needs to start with wall pushups or static holds or doing static holds\pushups on elevated surface

      That's where I started as well. From wall pushups. Though now I can do +30 normal pushups.

      Use the walls. You can adjust the intensity by the angle you do them.

    How long does it take to get to 60-100 fingertip pushups when my max is 22?

      depends the way you train, but probably gonna take more than 3 months

      @@fenxxs7515 Yeah, I've been noticing it's a lot slower than normal pushups. I sprained my thumb doing them last week too, so that'll slow it down even more. Oh well. No pain no gain.

      it's because you lack resilience/endurance, you need to conditiom your fingers for being able to do these first
      some things need to be built up from the rubble while others need to be destroyed, to rebuild into and make something better/greater.

    I can do 7 without any training, perhaps having lean muscle mass helps, but fingers feel sore for a minute afterwards. I would love to see roided guys in gym trying this.
