    Nice that it has rumble motors and solenoids. Might have to build one soon. 49” is nuts though. Gonna aim for a 27” diy kit. Definitely like all the little additions they added to it.

    Totally overkill but a nice alternative for a 4:3 or 5:4 back glass monitor would be the lg dualup!! That would look fantastic!
    I mean if you are getting a 4K 120hz monitor for the table itself why not get the dualup for the back glass!!

  • @JoshuaMilrad
    @JoshuaMilrad 8 месяцев назад

    This is great! I built the poor man's version minus the LED strips. 49" 4k is the way to go. The backglass monitor I'm usning is 30" not wide screen. And a full size 15" LCD for the DMD which is also used for video clips as in more modern pins. SSD inside and two bass thumpers recreate the sounds nicely. But this is a much more refined rig. Very nice.

    Erg mooi maar ook heel duur vind ik. Ik heb reeds een Sharpin en daar ben ik voorlopig zeer tevreden mee. Ik heb er wel over nagedacht om zo'n machine aan te schaffen. Ik heb er vermoedelijk ook geen ruimte voor. Volgens mij gaan Retro Play en Extreme Machine, beiden leveraciers in Australië, nog een behoorlijk stukje verder en maken ook mooie toppers op de backscreen van de machine en zelfs 3D is al mogelijk met behulp van een 3D bril. RetroPlay is redelijk betaalbaar. De premium versie(highend versie) is zo'n 5627,95 euro. Alleen de verzendkosten zullen wel erg hoog liggen en er moet eerst contact over opgenomen worden, voordat je zo'n transactie begint. Topper is obtioneel. Je kunt de machine helemaal naar eigen smaak laten moduleren. Dave en zijn collega's leveren echt prachtig werk. Ik denk zeker dat voor je voor bijna 95% in de buurt komt van een echte pinball machine terwijl dat waarschijnlijk bij Sharpin zo'n 65% à 70% is.

    • @wimvanderboor5764
      @wimvanderboor5764 Год назад

      @@mosquitos777 Klopt gedeeltelijk,...had ik ook al ontdekt...deze reactie was van voor de tijd dat Dave van retroplay ze accounts op RUclips verwijderede en er reacties kwamen om het, om de één of andere reden niet naleveren van het materiaal(problemen met zijn zoon?) Xtreme cabinets is ook goed ,maar erg duur. De pinball machines moeten helemaal vanuit Australië verzonden worden, dus daar komen dan ook veel kosten bij. Je kan tegenwoordig al dichter bij huis zijn voor de zelfde kwaliteit. Verzending vanuit Noord-Brabant en dan ook nog 49 inch speelveld in plaats van 43 inch en de (Verzend)kosten liggen dan annemelijk lager en letterlijk alle kasten van te voren geinstalleerd, meer dan bij RetroPlay en XtremeCabinets. Maar ik hou het maar op wat ik nu heb (sharpin, lekker zittend spelen, erg comfortabel) en af en toe naar de Dutch Pinball Museum om echte pinball te spelen. Wel aan gedacht natuurlijk, maar ik moet toch vanwege o.a. de ruimte een grens trekken.

      There is. There are actual handheld Android based pinball tables called Sharpin Mini and there are emulation boxes running on a PI or micro-PC's boards that you can have Virtual Pinball or the many other pinball emulators running on them along with all the retro consoles, hook it up to your monitor or TV and you can use a controller. Selling machines that come with emulated tables/roms is an extremely grey area and tho hobbyists can get away with selling them, anything that is considered a more wider commercial endeavor would get the seller into some serious issues.

    I am currently looking for a real size virtual pinball machine to replace my current atgames legends HD. I am doubting between a 49 4k or a 43 inch machine. My question is: Isnt 49 inch to great? It sometimes look like the ball is bigger then it would be on a real machine. I also own 3 original / real pinball machines so i want to match them as much as i can :)

    While I agree that credit or license fees should be given for included software where applicable, there is a valid market for prebuilt hardware ready to go like this.
    Atgames and 1up demonstrate the validity of the market.
    Yes, we all know gamerz geeks want all the best premium components and can and will diy, but working grownups may not have the time, skill or will to do this, thus these builders on the Etsys or ebay's or Craigslists of the world

    Checking the website, its a GTX 1050TI 4G included which seems low for 4k.. shouldve been 3060 at least for the rtx features /price as if u plan to use this for pinball fx3 with rtx it will have a hard time as it doesnt support rtx even or dlss features in future. Same with ssd only being 240gb is way to low when 1tb ssd are dirt cheap nowadays. heh anyway wish there were options on the wesbite to remove parts to get the machine cheaper, like removing the included gpu,cpu or removing the whole pc and just connecting your own for cheaper(without having to install the other parts urself)

    Oh boy, how do you say junk without offending any one? These Chinese builds are problematic at best. Bought one last year from Winsun out of China, 3900.00 shipped. Kelvin/Morry is the sales person, and although I received fair response times to problems and questions, ( LOTS of problems/questions) alas the hardware and quality is out the window/non existent. Granted they look impressive and flash and rumble but It'll be short lived. Do yourself a favor and build your own or find someone locally that can. These unfortunately have attracted sooo many aftermarket suppliers trying to beat quality built parts with cheaper ones for better prices/ profits that they have forgot that longevity/quality is paramount with electronics. In time someone will build a quality machine at a fair price but until then, buyer beware.
