Undead Labs published State of Decay 2's Update 36 today and it's a banger! Wow! Lots of quality of life improvements and a few bug fixes as well as tweaks to black plaguehearts. It really is a good update!

I've loved SoD since the original arcade game from the xbox 360 in 2013. Managing people, communities, recruiting, looting, shooting, driving, upgrading, It has it all! Lets do this!
State of Decay 2 is the ultimate zombie survival fantasy game made by Undead Labs. It is the second game in the series following 2013's State of Decay. The game first launched worldwide on the 22nd of May, 2018 as an Xbox/Microsoft Store exclusive. It was also pre-released on the 18th of May for those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition. On the 13th of March, 2020 the game received its biggest update yet, turning the game's title into State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition. Since then the game is also available on Steam and on the Epic Store.
All zombie survival games have you fight and kill the zombie menace, but with State of Decay 2, the focus is more on surviving from day to day while taking care of a whole community instead of a single survivor. Gathering supplies, building up your base, recruiting new faces and training your survivors. How will you survive?

it's honestly awesome to see undead labs still working on this game, constantly putting out new contents and fix issues, it's rare to see a dev team have such dedication to one single ip and still devoting to make it good years after it came out.

@@ScrubbyGames But still, I'm waiting for that threaten enclave confirmation pop-up window, I have accidentally click on option to threaten an enclave and make perfectly good people into my enemies one too many times.

Hope the Trumbull Valley is actually fixed now. I ran into a well known bug where one of the quest items disappear and there is no way to progress even if you start over.
Oh interesting, I haven't had that one. The big bug I have is the "mysterious broadcast" quest. My game crashed if I get to close to the starting spot. I guess it's because of mods though
I hope they have another major update soon or in the works. Curveball are cool but it’s just not enough to keep me playing. It sucks cause I really love this game 😕

It’s a shame this game was such a letdown when it came to the variety of weapons/lukewarm campaign compared to the first game
I haven't had an issue with weapon variety I'm still finding guns I've never seen before, and I've got a few hundred hours in the game, but I couldn't possibly agree more about the story. Thanks for the comment!
@@ScrubbyGames compared to the first game the sequel had no chance at the level of variety even before they added the bounty broker. It took them how long just add a 22 bolt action for example and how long will it be before they add actual machine guns instead of that one AK with the helix mag
@@TheWarlock97 what do you mean by actual machine guns? There's a ton of automatic rifles in the game
@@ScrubbyGames the first game had full on machine guns like the m60, M249, and one other from my spotty memory. Not just a reskinned assault rifle with a helical mag.
@@TheWarlock97 oh like LMGs okay gotcha, yeah I don't think the sequel has any LMGs, would be sick though lol. I always carry an LMG in Days Gone for ultimate zombie shredding power

first i lost a whole community to a black plague heart and turned curveballs off forever lol second you know the cannibals just probably didnt get to the THEY ARE EATING PEOPLE part you get a call for help but wgen you get there the person you went there to save isnt there the people in the enclave say they dont know what you are talking about. then they give you a quest to bring them a meat cleaver and it gets wierder from there
Damn yeah I've never had that happen to me during any of my playthroughs, that sounds cool AF though!

How do i join or start a discussion about adding maps to sod2? I wouldn't even care about sod3 if 2 grew the map a couple times a year with a map drop. The game dynamics are good, stop with the updates and start with the maps

@@hunyo_you if you're connected to the Internet it should update automatically when you launch the game, if for whatever reason it didn't, you can pull the game up in your Xbox app on your PC and should be able to update from there
Edit: you can check if it's updated by clicking the "update" or "patch notes" section at the bottom of the title screen near the credits after launching the game
