I'd definitely add in Strionic Resonator and Lithoform Engine in this deck too, just to really make the most out of it.
I like that braids can sac herself.
As someone that has cast Braids turn one with Dark Ritual, and then sacraficed my only land at the end step[.... I didn't win the game, but 100% would do it again.
Love your channel. Has really helped me understand commander better and has given me some good ideas for my commander decks. Keep up the great work!

I feel like a lot of people are going to play Demonic Pact but then someone's going to kill braids and you just lose the game and feel really bad about it.
I'm surprised you didn't mention Tergrid. She'd go well with Braids for extra saltiness.
A cool combo you could do if you go first (and if you can afford it)
1 Swamp + Jeweled Lotus + Kaya's Ghostform
Basically, you play Lotus to get Braids out, then play Kaya's Ghostform with the Swamp to enchant Braids. On your end step, sac Braids. If you're going first, no one will have any creatures out, thus all opponents get burned for 2, and you draw 3. Then, Ghostform triggers and brings back Braids.
Theoretically, you could also do this turn 2 if no one has creatures out yet.
In this case, you'd need a second Swamp + Dark Ritual + Kaya's Ghostform. Results are the same.
Ugins Nexus, cast for 5 sac it on end step and take an extra turn

I built her.. even though she's not yet, and she's a lot of fun!
trying to play with aristocrat/reanimation. lotta fun so far. Some really our there enchantment/creatures that work really well with her
I'm having to take out most of my aristocrats due to slots, but oof it's looking scary. suggest any good inf combos for the deck? I'm running aetherflux reservoir combo as a plan b if the game takes too long
I kind of want this thing for commander. This seems like it could be fun to play.
I played it today for the first playtest at the LGS, and my hand was full by turn 5. No one agrees to sacrifice anything. It's straight value!
I'd definitely use crucible of worlds to make sacrificing lands a good choice.

I have a braids deck. I can see my self picking up four of her. I do my braids deck simple. Just a load of land destruction and 0 and 1 casting cost guys that work well with paying her tax. I can see my self having four of the new one. As a variant. Swapping out between rounds for flavor.

I plan on putting Blitzwing cruel tormenter, and this braids into my Mogis God edh deck... along with some new artifacts like the aetherflux res. for synergy does that make sense? i'm getting back into brewing
Butcher of malakir, tergrid, and I that betrays will be the Allstars of the deck.
I feel like this has potential in legacy pox decks to get more card draw and being able to target permanents pox usually cannot target.

How to speedrun losing your friends.
Play sanguine bond then exquisite blood and sacrifice a land to hopefully deal one damage
Then gain life equal to the amount of life your opponents lost
....
Then deal damage equal to the life you gained
.......
then gain life equal to the health they lost
.....
And all because they didn't want to sacrifice a land
This effect is honestly so much better than OG Braids. Not only does this one add more types to sacrifice, but it also punishes if they don't sacrifice something. Depending on the right commander, I can easily see this in the 99. And by right commander, I mean Sheoldred, the Apocalypse.

My brother is making a ripoff of my braids deck, he t1 sol ring, t2 braids, sacrifcing a land.. i was thinking of blowing the ring up but then the salt rained and the game fell apart.
Where is the talk of crucible of worlds? to Sac lands and your able to play lands from your own grave. Most players do not run the Crucible outside of lands matters decks. Sooooo, its going to be very detrimental to them. I think even a mono green ramp deck would feel the pain. Also you can offset your mana production until you get crucible with effects like crypt ghast/nirkana revenant/nykthos/cabal coffers. Basically the likely hood of any deck being able to continue sacrificing lands is minimal. Also can inflict more damage with Wound Reflection.
I have a crucible in my braids deck. I'm going to put four of her in their as a variant. What do I want to play with tonight. A mix, old or new. I'm just doing really cheap land destruction and creatures that work well with braids. Plus lotus petal, Chrome mox, dark rituals. And tutors. The strip mine works with the crucible. I'm not saying I would win a vintage tournament with this deck. But playing across the table just for fun. I got four decks set aside for someone that breaks that contract. This is one. Sometimes one of my four can take the day and make someone stop and play for fun. You never know outside of the tournament scene what someone considers, broken or fun.
My Braids idea: Enchantment Braids. Most people don't have enchantments on board. Especially not one they want to sacrifice.
I don't want people to sac stuff. I want to draw cards.
Braids is one of my ALL time favorite cards I got her in a modern deck and vintage deck and I want her unbanned in commander also. I love stacks 😈😈💯

Only your endstep. Witch is at the end of your turn. After your second mainphase
