Ooh didnt know potato donuts are italian! They've been popular here since forever, usually just tossed with powdered sugar. I've always preferred them to regular donuts even- the potatoes definitely give them a different taste

Hi love! Here's some tips: - Use room temp egg whites - Use a very clean glass or metal bowl - Be patient when whipping the egg whites, they'll take some time to fluff up.

I never knew that you could actually make donuts by using potatoes before. You probably won’t taste any potato in those. But also, you did make pastry cream on your channel before; you made some in your Italian vanilla cake video.
Yes, lots of italians make donuts this way 💕 The potato gives the donuts the most amazing soft texture. And correct, you don't taste the potato. I hope you'll try these!
In Austria (just north of Italy, haha) we also make sweet dishes with potato dough, it works very well for boiled dumplings with apricot filling, no, you don't taste the potato, I think several countries have this trick.
When I was a child the small Colorado, USA town I grew up in there was a bakery called Spudnuts… those were the very best donuts I ever had. I think when the owners either retired or passed away the kids weren’t interested in continuing so it was closed. I would love to go back in time and have one of their donuts again.
