This edit is a real find, and a keeper. I was in college when this show started on Fox network, "back in the day". It took me a while to really embrace it but eventually I found that it was one of the most well written sitcoms of the era. Today I am grateful that, because of my age, I immediately know the pop culture references that were written in the scripts, and recognize everything the show satirized. And The Simpsons really paid homage to tons of movies and TV shows; and they poked so much fun at trends and social customs. When I think about it, the show is so rich with humor, verbal and physical, that it's almost overwhelming. Thanks very much for sharing this smorgasbord of funny moments. It's like the cream of the crop ... every fan's favorite classic quotes.

This edit is a real find, and a keeper. I was in college when this show started on Fox network, "back in the day". It took me a while to really embrace it but eventually I found that it was one of the most well written sitcoms of the era. Today I am grateful that, because of my age, I immediately know the pop culture references that were written in the scripts, and recognize everything the show satirized. And The Simpsons really paid homage to tons of movies and TV shows; and they poked so much fun at trends and social customs. When I think about it, the show is so rich with humor, verbal and physical, that it's almost overwhelming.
Thanks very much for sharing this smorgasbord of funny moments. It's like the cream of the crop ... every fan's favorite classic quotes.
