Hi there, this worked great for me. I've successfully gotten one of my cameras to send tracking data and it works like a charm. I am having issues using the same process to have a 2nd camera run at the same time. Any advice? Both are PTZOptics, same brand and everything. Appreciate all the help already!
Thank you so much for the video, I tried this video and I can pan tilt zoom work well but I have a question How do I adjust or place the camera where I want ? sorry for my English thank you
Thank you so much for this explanation video. I was about to buy PTZ'S with the Freed protocol but no need anymore it seems. (or is FreeD better? More acurate) I tested it and I am getting it pretty good. But......! How to postition the talent in the right place in a studio? I just don't see it. Normaly you can adjust it on the billboard values but nothing happens there. Anny Idea? Or does it need a different approach?
Hello, In my opinion Free-D is bettet and morse accurate. For example together with the Panasonic AW-UE150. I am not sure what setup you are using in AX, but you need to use a “Tracked cam” compound. Tracked camera input can not be moved around trough the billboard settings like virtual cameras. The placing of the talent is your real world framing sort of speak. Then you can adjust your studio and scene settings in AX to match you shot.
@@ccsvirtual Thanks, Makes sense and figured that out indeed. And yes, I think the FreeD is more Accurate I believe. But for fix presets using 3 PTZ's might do the job good enough. You don't see the slight drifting or jitter then.
Thank you so much for the video, can I ask you the model of the camera you use for this video, i will like to get a PTZ to start trying this kind of showt with our aximmetry. Best regards,
Yes most definitely, for instance we have successfully used the Panasonic AW-UE150 trough Free D. The AW-UE, being a 4K camera also gave a very good end result in picture quality. Having said that I wanted to show with my video that you can achieve very good results even with a less expensive camera.
Hello, this tutorial is for ptz camera that can report lens position information within the camera itself. If you dolly the camera around the camera does not know where it is in 3D space unless you have an external tracking system.
@cyberetti is it possible to add an additions tracking solution like the Intel realsense or retracker attacked to the PTZ camera to transport the camera location while the visca communicates the PTZ info?
Thanks for the feedback, are these features specific to a certain aximmetry model? as i noticed the visca is not listed on the Community De version@@ccsvirtual

Hi, it looks great, Is this method will work for any PTZ without Free D protocol built in?
Yes most definitely, for instance we have successfully used the Panasonic AW-UE150 trough Free D.

Hello, how can get the focus of the camera ?
If you dolly the camera around, will it still track the location, or does this work only for a static PTZ?

Technically that djupled not be a problem.
We actually tried with our PTZ on a Jib with the Vive Mars tracking system.
