You are doing such a great job with your flosstube. Stitching is beautiful and your infectious smile is too. Keep up the good work. Til next time.
Thank you so much!
Your second floss tube is great as well. I love the enthusiasm and positive energy. You will have plenty to frame Christmas Garden. You can always sew a strip of fabric along each edge if that makes you more comfortable. Safe travels. Enjoy Stitchers Paradise.
Thank you! That’s a great idea!
Lovely seconded video. Loved seeing your quilting. Great job.
Thank you!
Another delightful flosstube! Congrats on finishing simple life. It’s beautiful! Happy stitching!
It was so fun to stitch! Thank you!
Another great video! Love the quilt pieces? Go girl!
Your 1st video was great. You are adorable. Keep stitching.
Thank you!
Another sweet video. 💕 Thank you! 💕
Thank you!
Loved everything about this!! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you so much 😊
Beautiful finish! Your stitching is beautiful! Great video! Look forward to the next one!
Thank you!
Thank you so much for another terrific video, Jem! 😊😊
Thank you!
Fantastic video! Thank you so much for the shout out on the project bags!
Of course! They are gorgeous 😍
I thoroughly enjoyed your video! Beautiful stitching!
Thank you so much!
Enjoy your videos so much. You are just a true delight ❤ Cannot wait until the next one! Happy stitching 😊
Thank you so much!
Yay!!!! You came back! I enjoyed this flosstube! Keep them coming! Love your bags!
Thank you!
Hi Jem love your stitchy progress, finish and starts. You are a natural on the camera.
Oh my days you are starting the Smith Sampler. So many are stitching this gorgeous sampler. I’m getting tempted 😂
Oh thank you! I’m starting smith sampler on Leap Day-join me!
Gem theatre. . . .that's perfect! I hope you bought an extra yard just because. Loving your delightful videos. Looking forward to the next!
Thank you! When I saw that on the fabric I couldn’t believe it.
Beautiful stitching, beautiful quilting. I have done a couple blue and yellow quilts, love the color combination. Yellow and red are my favorite color also. Love the wool appliqué also.
Thank you so much!
Another fun Flosstube video Jem! I did start laughing when you were showing the Christmas Garden border. I thought that's not too small, and then you showed the bottom of the fabric...LOL. I can totally see myself doing that. Just love all your projects including your quilting blocks and applique patterns. Have fun in Vegas and Florida!
Thank you! I have no idea what I was thinking when I started it lol
Love all your wips, your finished projects, and I immediately went and ordered the everyday sampler!
Jem, this video was so enjoyable, I love all of crafting, it's all so exciting to see. Make me have FOMO but I can't start another craft, due to downsizing. Keep up the enthusiasm and energy, it's wonderful
Thank you so much!
Love both stitching and quilting! Great video!!
Thank you! 😊
Congrats on a Simple Life - I love it!
Thanks you so much!
Love the quilt behind you. I enjoy your videos.
Thank you!
Happy stitching 🧵 ENJOYED
Thank you!
Your simple life is just gorgeous 💕
Thank you Marilyn!
Hey girl, great flosstube AGAIN!! Hope to see you soon at PMP 😊
Thank you Geni!
Thank you for sharing your hobbies!
Safe travels
Thank you so much for watching!
Beautiful work, and great FlossTube! I’m off to watch your first video now.
Thank you!
Christmas Garden that’s plenty of room for framing!
Oh good! I don’t know what I was thinking 🤦🏽♀️
Lots of lovely things 😁 thanks for sharing.
Oh my goodness! I had that Ann Borret chart from Jennifer in my cart, but when I went back to purchase it, it was sold! So glad that someone who loves it got it. Now I have something to try to find 😅. I have been in The Silver Needle Club for three years and it has never disappointed me! They are amazing kits.
Maybe by the time you find it I’ll be able to start it lol
Enjoyed your video very much. Beautiful cross stitch projects. You should take your Hawk Run Hollow block and put it on the front of a project bag. A little frogging of the stitching below and turn under the edges, appliqué it and you have a bag with a fancy front! I’m a quilter also and love your blocks. And wool appliqué is so much fun! Looking forward to your next video! Happy stitching!
Thank you!
Your quilting looks so well done. Do either 12 blocks and put sashing in between them or 15 or 18. Choose and don't over think it. Don't forget the border. I know it will be fabulous. I need to continue on several quilts also. When I go to the PMP quilt retreat I plan on taking my Wool Applique. Three days of none stop working on all of mine. Have a wonderful day.
Thank you for that wonderful advice!
I had to watch your first video too, I really enjoyed your floss tube. When you said you hate snow I thought omygoodness someone I can totally relate too, I live in Michigan and I so dislike winter and Snow!! spring is my favorite. I so enjoyed everything you have done!
Thank you!
Fabulous video and content!❤❤❤
Thank you so much!
Way to go Jem 🎉
Thank you brother!
Enjoyed your video. Keep up the amazing job 👏 👍
Thank you!
Welcome back, loved the first video but not near a computer...would love to see your quilting along with your stitching!! Great job!!!
Thank you so much!
Use the finished block on a drawstring bag, tea die it, and you might love it!🤗
I’m gonna start looking for some fabric that would be cool for it
Hello - I just watched both of your videos. I love all of your projects!
Thank you so much!
Was super excited to see your next video pop up definitely encouraging me to do my FlossTube even though I’m so new 😆. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy it a lot.
Thank you! Go for it!
Enjoyed the video you did a great job with pace. I liked all of your content today. That Hawk Run block can be made into a pillow or the front panel of a project bag. Looking forward to your next video. Your Stitchy friend Cheryl
Thank you! Those are great ideas for my hawk run hollow block
Again, you have done a wonderful youtube. Keep up the wonderful work. You can frame the piece that you left not enough on edges by sewing fabric on the sides when you frame or whatever your finish is. Good on you for trying different threads on your project. Yes, drop the Hawk Run Hollow piece especially since you don't love it. I will see you soon at Prairie Moon. So glad to see you also quilt.
Thank you!
You are such a delight to watch. Thank you for sharing your time and talent. I think you have enough of a border on your garden pattern for framing.
Thank you!
Thx for sharing😍
Thanks for watching!
I use those tags you purchased to label all my projects. Each bag gets a tag so when I line them up on my shelves the tags hang all on the same side and I can quickly see what I have. I also use the same tags on my floss rings-I put the name of the project on the tag, that way, if for some reason the floss ring falls out of the bag, I know which project it goes to.
Love your videos!
Thank you! And that’s a great idea for the tags!
You're not on your own. I hate snow, too ❄️ ( unless I'm indoors snuggled up or it's on a greetings card). Lovely stitching 🪡
I love stitchinjem ❤❤❤
Your Riley Blake challenge blocks are GORGEOUS!! I’ve done 12 of the 16 that I’ll be putting in a setting from Fat Quarter Shop. Im using Minick and Simpson fabric.
❤ 🇺🇸 💙
Thank you! I love Minick and Simpson! Let me know which setting you choose
Jem, what I do with those floss drops from Amazon is I have a punch just a bit smaller. I punch out from old Christmas, Birthday, Anniversary cards. They are thick enough to glue onto the floss drops. Then I punch a small hole and a larger hole on the bottom and one hole on the top. I put what type of floss are on the floss drop. Also, the floss number and name and the name of the project I am using them for. When done you can toss and make more or put labels on the backside. See you soon. Have fun in Vegas and Florida.
New subscriber! Love your energy 😄
Thank you!
Just found you!!!!! Excellent floss tube
Thank you!
You quilt blocks are sooooo beautiful!! 🌟🌝
Meline
Thank you!
Thanks for leading me to Stone Street stitchWorks. I never heard of them before but love the librarians house that you have. I’ll definitely check them out. I’m also one who started a Hawk run Hollow piece and set it aside. I loved it but was frustrated. I need to put it down until I can pick it up when it brings me joy.
Stonestreet has a lot of amazing patterns-I think you’ll enjoy them-I just need a complete reset on my HRH it’s too big not to love-maybe we can get back to them together
@@StitchinJem Abolutely. I'd love that.
Maybe you can take your 1 Hawk Run block and make a little pillow or something, so at least you get something out of it!!
Thank you! I think I will
Great video - again! Before you completely get rid of Hawk Run - why not stitch it into a pillow? Such a pretty stitch to not convert it into something 😃. Congrats on the finish of Simple Life - she is a beaut! Love your quilts & also the project bags. I like to quilt too & often get distracted making the bags🤣. Enjoy your travels next month.
Thank you! A pillow is a great idea!
Came across your first video this morning and thought, ooooh I want to be friends with her! Lol. I’ve been trying to get my 1st flosstube video up but have run into some issues with getting something posted. ANYWAY, I think you are doing a great job. Oh, and I love your quilt in the background,
Thank you! I can’t wait to see your first flosstube!
Hi Jem, I found your second floss tube today, and I am pleased to say that you delivered another good one. Needless to say I subscribed after watching your first video. The first block of your Hawk Run Hollow Village that you finished can become a flat fold finish. I know how you feel when you don’t like the project and have to ditch it for a new start. If you still feel the same way after restarting it try stitching Map of Hawk Run Hollow it is a fun stitch. I am currently on page two. Please tell me where you got your BOHO sticker book from.
Thank you! I got my sticker book from Amazon
Hello, I'm a ne subscriber. All your cross stitch projects are very nice! I wish I could stitch with a small stitch count cloth. Just too small for me. You are also an excellent quilter. The blocks are perfect. Pittsburgh, PA
Thank you so much!
There is just so much I need to say!! I want to be able to talk back to you on your video. 😂 I hope you had a great time with your mom. Next time I’ll have to take notes so I can write you a letter.
Christie Iol- thank you!
Another great video. I love the butterfly project bag you made. Chef’s kiss! I don’t quilt, but the fabric with the blues and yellows is so gorgeous. I would like to do some wool appliqué in the future. Take care. Happy stitching.
Thank you! I didn’t make the butterfly bag-my friend Vanessa did, she works at my LNS….maybe we need to get you quilting 🤷🏽♀️
@@StitchinJem If I took up another crafting hobby, it would probably push my incredibly supportive husband over the edge, LOL.
Yeah my jumped over a long time ago lol
@@StitchinJem Bless their hearts, they try so hard to understand, right?
Yes, my husband is so good…he tears up just watching my videos
Love your video! Save your “wonky” quilt blocks! I’ve got a bunch that I will use on the back of a scrap quilt someday! It will be a journal of your quilting journey!
I have been working on Independence Hall cross stitch and I am also thinking of doing a start over because of my fabric choice, even though I have quite a bit done. It’s a hard decision to start a project over… will be watching for your next video!
Yes it’s so hard to let my Hawk Run Hollow go but I’ve gotta do it…I’ll use my wonky block bc once it’s quilted you won’t be able to tell
Oh My Gosh, you sweet girl ...we are Birthday Buddies/Friends!!! And I started Oh Joyous Day because of Katie! I am failing greatly on progress, but I do love it. I have one and a half flowers, 😂 What a joy to find your video. I am also a quilter and have to say that was my first love, and got back into cross stitch in 2017. BTW, I think you have plenty to frame your Christmas Garden, I did the same thing on Sarah's House by Blackbird designs??? Look forward to your next video. ( Also I was born on my Mother's birthday and my granddaughter Lily was born on mine! And now I found you too, love it!) Blessings ❤
That’s so cool about the birthdays! I need to get back to my Oh Joyous Day! Thank you for watching!
So glad I found your channel! I’m in OK too! You’re such a breath of fresh air! Look forward to watching your channel and all your cross stitch!
Thank you!
Where in Oklahoma?
I’m in Enid, north/west of OKC. My LNS is Hobby Lobby (LOL), so I go to Silver needle in Tulsa and shop online!! So glad to see another OK girl here!!
@@dfrogers831 Enid is far from Wayne but if you ever get a chance come down to Wayne-Prairie Moon Primitives, it’s awesome!
@@StitchinJem I will certainly remember that! Maybe we will meet at an event someday!! 😊
OOh we can start Ann Borrett together!
Deb yeah right-in a thousand years maybe
@@StitchinJem it’s been staring at me from BAP binder for a couple years 😂😂😂
Wondferful video. Beautiful stitching. I love the bag you made, that fabric is gorgeous, do you know the name? I am an avid quilter also. Your blocks are perfection, it will be a gorgeous quilt. I would do 20 or 25 blocks. Dont throw your Hawkrun Hallow block away. Tea / coffee dye it the, make it the front panel of a project bag. It will be beautiful
Thank you so much! I think I’ll do 20-and the find a layout but we’ll see
I am a cross stitcher but started quilting small projects. I love colors and my favorite thing with quilting is finding the fabric, cutting and piecing. I wanted to say I absolutely love the fabric colors of the blues and yellows you picked for your quilt blocks. Absolutely beautiful fabric!! Do you machine or hand quilt? I can not wait to see the finished project!
Thank you! I have a dear friend that has a longarm and so I take everything to her
@@StitchinJem oh you are so lucky!!
Love your floss tube channel, you’re such a natural. I enjoyed seeing all your beautiful projects. May I ask what special threads you used on the “Hands on Design, Everyday Sampler”, the colors of the Threadworx and the Cottage Garden threads? Thanks.
Thank you so much! I’ll grab my threads in the morning and send you the names
@@StitchinJemok great, I’d sure appreciate it!

@@StitchinJem Thank you so much! This was so kind of you and very much appreciated. ❤️
Can you use the block you’ve finished on Hawk Run Hollow as the center panel of a project bag?
That’s a great idea but I have the entire piece away instead-I had a friend who loved it
