This scene is very emotional, in the first game Bayonetta realized all of her kind died because of her father, whom she had to kill afterwards, and in the second game, she actually loses her parents once again, realizing her father is not the monster she thought he was... There's such a lovely character behind that badass, sassy and arrogant woman ! (However, I always find it weird how the hair on her cloak isn't attracted to the floor when she's using Witch Walk on the roof of the room...°
I think how witch walk works is that you use the moon to magically link yourself to it's gravitational pull, thus the hair would be attracted to that force, and not the earth.
benjidanet I'm kind of confused about that. I mean , she's repeatedly referred to as an outcast in the flashbacks in Bayonetta 1, and she never received formal training as a witch, since the Elder declared that "she be kept from the path of the dark arts forever." so I always assumed the rest of her kind barring Jeanne and Rosa hated her. So I'm lost as to why she would feel so sad at their passing
Curtis Griffiths I think it's because of the rule. It only states that she may not learn the arts. I assume that it never said that she be turned away and shunned out/thrown out. So that could mean there were people who were quite nice to her and treated her well (Jeanne and her nice clothes for example)(correct me if Im wrong tho, I sometimes forget stuff easily XP )
actually, when Bayonetta and Balder returns to the 500 year ago, the history was changed, timelines is changed. so, Rosa’s last appearance was true end of Balder and Rosa.
@@xavier_zxavier_z9648 Yeah I think that the one on the second game is the true timeline but was changed because of Loptr possessing Balder and changed it so that this Cereza (our character) will have to go through those things
It was specifically the clan wars rather than Bayonetta's birth, if both clans didn't go trigger happy and fight eachother over their traditions then the Lumen wouldn't go extinct and it would be unknown how Loptr would enact his plan
@@lowhp_comic Actually it was the Angels (mainly Fortitudo) that did that. He manipulated the Lumen Sages (mainly Balder since he had the right eye) to start the Witch Hunts to eradicate the Umbran Witches. Then Balder fell in love with Rosa, an Umbran Witch, and Fortitudo had her murdered and made it look like the Umbra did it for violating the laws of their clan. All the while Fortitudo was hoping the Umbra and Lumen would kill each other off, so the Eyes of the World would return to where they were created (to Aesir/Loptr) so they could revive Jubileus, the Creator.
It's sad how tragic their family is, like imagine being treated like a outcast and seeing your mother imprisoned for birthing to you and even probably not meeting your father in a young age, now that i think about it, i wonder how the Umbra witches treated little cereza? just seeing her longing for her mother without the dungeon bars is just heart breaking.. I remember when cereza and rosa fell in the cliff after witnessing the clock tower fell, I saw how Cereza was still happy even probably knowing Rosa will die eventually, it's probably her first time hugging her without the bars..
From what I know, they refused to teach Bayonetta their ways till her potential became undeniable. But she was always treated as an outcast and as an obomination. But Jeanne stayed her friend through it all. Her mother had to basically raise her through the bars of her dungeon :(
Cereza and the lost demon has the whole intro of the game being a walk of shame to Rosa's prision all while other witches berate and insult Cereza, only to have the witches set up a trap for her at the end and try to send her to inferno. The witches were not good to their family, the sages probably weren't either. But all this recontextualizes the attack on the witches Balder did from the first game. The attack was probably a rescue mission, break out Rosa and leave with her and Cereza. But the angels star killing all the witches to what Balder protests to Fortitudo, only to be met with a " we are going to kill you too"
Aww... I was thinking Bayonetta 3 could be about the pact a witch makes with their demoness. It's an ugly promise, marking you up for the day you can't provide an angelic soul that you must be dragged to hell. Truly curious.

@UCzUTc_NR8jSJrb_FM8oYZUw Maybe. But it's still interesting that they would trade their "eternal" souls then for a few years of playing around in the mortal world. Did they expect to never die? I don't think anything would be worth spending an eternity in inferno. The reason she keeps someone like Luka at arms length is because he's a human and even if she wanted anything to do with him, she'd only end up lonely and disappointed because he'll die long before she will
It’s sad that Balder really had hope that he would be able to save Rosa(which was probably why he didn’t pick a fight with Bayonetta) only to arrive a few moments too late. Also the way Loptr smirks at him is very taunting in my opinion especially since he knew that Rosa was Balder’s wife.

Liu 231104 “Prophet”, or “Loptr” the one who transforms into aesir ( The final boss ). Rosa died 500 years ago so that’s what prophet looked like when he was young, And he looked a lot like Loki, so that’s why prophet told Balder that Loki did it and that’s why he wanted to kill him throughout the chapters but prophet, or “Loptr” was the one that really did it, hence why Balder throws his spear at prophets head in the finale.
When Bayonetta go back to 500 years ago.Why didn't Bayonetta (Cereza) feel sad when she saw her mother(Rosa) death? And when bayonetta go back her time with her father, how she know her dad's name is Balder?
Is her memory completely recovered?
She did feel sad, you can see when she says "mummy" it clearly states that she is sad, however it happened 500 years ago, so she must probably be over it rn. And well, it had to happen and she knew it, since she cannot alter the past
And she knew about Balder being him since the first game, she just had to realize it's him again
@@albertlogar3401 its why she said "I like you much better this way Balder" She's referring to his older self she killed in the first game while Balder thinks she's talking about when they first fought each other in the second
I'm confused so after there teleported another cereza bayonetta 1 return to rosa to😂
she say mommy Σ(▼□▼メ)
I just spoiled this game for myself and I hate it.....Plot so twisty....
Wonder how they met
Wow now I completely get the point of view of bayonetta's parents. They both look so fine and juicy
I never understand why the fandom loves the umbra witches that much if they hate and discrimine Bayonetta for being mixed, also why bayo loves the ones who discrime and hate her for just exists? This sounds like stocomo syndrome for me
Bayonetta's mom hot.
Oh god, my heart ;-;)
Why Cereza was named Bayonetta?
Rodin found Cereza with no memories and gave her the name Bayonetta.
Maybe for bayonetta 3 it will end with cereza and Luke married and when their daughter is grown up she saves her mother from death
logan lamlamay no actually the developpers said they did not have any attraction
logan lamlamay never figured them to be together. Just good friends
The reason she keeps someone like Luka at arms length is because he's a human and even if she wanted anything to do with him, she'd only end up lonely and disappointed because he'll die long before she will
You kind of predicted the future lol
Balder es hermoso mas que la esposa y la hija juntas, este es un claro ejemplo como la belleza de un hombre supera a la de las mujeres.
What a crappy franchise.
What?
WHAT?
It’s sad that Balder really had hope that he would be able to save Rosa(which was probably why he didn’t pick a fight with Bayonetta) only to arrive a few moments too late. Also the way Loptr smirks at him is very taunting in my opinion especially since he knew that Rosa was Balder’s wife.
