  • Should you shoot film in the middle of the day? It's debatable. Sometimes maybe yes, sometimes maybe shit 😂

You’re making me miss England so bad haha 🥺 you got some really lovely small English town photos here. I like to do street photos when the sun is high up, maybe not directly above so there’s still some angles in the shadows, I think it adds some sunny energy to the photos and could define shapes more~ but you’re right, for these small town, melancholic vibes, I think golden hour would be perfect

Ah Bon thank you! If you're ever this side hit me up! Hope you are feeling better as well! I enjoy taking photographs at all times, but there are places where the light obviously shines better. But yeah, I think I really like some of these shots, they may end up growing on me!

Great video as always man! You're making me want to go back to the UK and All through Europe again! The image at 4:22 is my favorite! It looks like you went through a time machine to take that haha

Thanks Reimann! You should totally make your way this side of the pond. If you do hit me up, we will have to find some Jazz bars in UK somewhere. That town was surreal man, so many old classic cars was honestly like stepping through a time machine.

Wow! Just subbed. Everything looks so sharp with the Olympus. Did you just shoot in f11 and leave focus set to infinity or what?

That Olympus packs a sharpness punch sometimes. I was shooting f8 - f11 most of this day. My XA is the range finder system so I was still manually setting focus each time though, but I love that camera. So much.

oi u can'd undastand da bri'ish? fo fuks sake 😄I think for days like this a good old b&w film is the better choice. nevertheless as always a pleasure to follow your trip through good ol england.

Not at all man-it’s like elvish to me here innit 😂 I haven’t shot b/w in soo long I need to load buy some more. But labs this side of the earth charge so much more for B/w development it’s crazy!

@@thefilmdaddy ah so you have the same problem with B&W costs. Here it costs me 3x as much to develop B&W but there is an elegant solution. Ilford XP2. B&W film but C41 development process! 👌
