@@markj.a351 The lower level warrior put his faith into the higher twinked warrior. The instant the high level warrior feared, I would have dipped. Fearing in a populated area is death. The lower level warrior probably didn't know better. I don't trust random groups or twinked out toons. Never know how bad a person is behind the screen in a random group and, imo, most twinked out toons need that gear to compensate for their poor gameplay. Rarely is twinked gear used to supplement it.

I was the rogue in the video at 8:54 - later in the run, as we were walking into the last boss of GY, I somehow slipped through the stairs and died falling into nothingness. Some weird bug with walking down those stairs in stealth maybe. Beware the stairs you go down when entering the room that has Bloodmage Thalnos, you can fall through the stairs.
If true, thanks for clip. Was giggling watching u survive that tick of dmg that de-stealthed you. Also, it is typical of hardcore to miss re-stealth aggro window by less than .5 seconds. Those mobs don't play fair 😂
Nothing weird about any raiding hc deaths. Guilds communicating for weeks would sometimes die/res 10+ times to classic naxx. To even make it that far in HC is a great feat
I’m Tentoo, one of the mages who died in the 4Horse clip (and the first voice you hear in the vid lol). What a run- most of us never played through Naxxramas in softcore and while it was unfortunate to have it all fall apart, we went out in a blaze of glory. There were some things that we could have done differently in hindsight but ultimately the raid lead dcing is pretty bad on any fight in Naxx. To have it happen in the first 10 seconds, which is the worst possible time for it to happen, is tragic. That timing for us as a guild made us a bit suspicious as we were also streaming- the raid leader’s internet went down. But GGs, what a ride bois
Moral of the story, more people need to know what to do in this event, not saying you all didn’t, but panic set in. There needs to be a secondary raid leader to pick up the slack and not only one big swinging 🍆 that calls all the shots. Sucks to see but you guys made it very far! Drex has always seemed to have that short witted attitude, which I guess is pretty common for a raid leader to have.
Def agree on backup RL. Everyone knew what to do on this fight but we essentially had a single point of failure. We also had to throttle dmg to thane in order to move him back to the corner. That added 1-2 stacks we shouldn’t have had which set the whole thing in motion

The naxxramas raid wipe was hard to watch. A single person dc's and not a single person can take over? Crazy to think that no one else was raid backup lead at the highest level of raiding.
31 people died from one DC. And here I thought I was about to rage when just my HC player died because of internet connection issues. I love hardcore, and I love the punishment I get for genuine screw ups. But, I f***ing hate getting punished because someone else hit just the wrong traffic pole miles away from me.
For the big ones like the 31 deaths, which is what we are all here for, it would have been easy to find other perspectives showing more. About 6-7 peoples hearths want off a second before a tick that would have killed them too. And the aftermath chat always offers some gems.
Never seen a guy supposed to help someone grief them so hard. That warrior pulling more mobs he could all kill easily then leaving and letting his lvl 31 die there. No WW Axe for them I guess ...
And that backfire will do the mortar effect to you and party members: Inflicts 383 to 517 Fire damage and stuns the targets in a 5 yard radius for 3 sec.
blizzard is responsible for these raid dcs. what super troll at bliz thought it was a good idea to host a hardcore server.. they are on some trolling level above our heads.
I knew the rogue and the priest were gonna survive just from the soothe/sap juggling they were doing at the start to cheese that annoying fuckin quest. Also guys like that warrior at 9:35 are the reason I don't play HC myself. I have no qualms with newer players who aren't amazing in retail/classic wow but I couldn't imagine starting a raid and discovering someone that useless was tanking in a one life situation.
If you use that addon you would know the red swing timer is your targets weapon swing timer, the blue would be his character. Therefore , He was not attacking
It's to do with how mob leashing works. If for example two people are on the mob's aggro table, the timer for person number two doesn't start until the timer for number one has ended.

tbh 1 dc doesnt cause a raidwipe but the person who dc'd was their shotcaller and maintank. if the other warriors were more on the ball they could have saved it
The guy who dc'd was a tank, when fighting 4hoursemen in naxx you need a minimum of 8 tanks. Without enough tanks the tanks can't rotate around the room and get rid of the invidual debuffs that each of the bosses apply in a certain radius of them.
The GM, who was raid leader and also the main tank DC'd right as they pulled. He also dc'd from the discord so no1 realised until it was already too late.
You didnt lose your entire raid because you dc'd you lost your entire raid because everyone freaked out and there was no leader calling what to do. 40 people in the raid im sure at least 5? officers and nobody took charge due to a single dc. Actually hilarious
@@Sonnavind123 using some engineering item I believe. The backfire can only affect players you are grouped with and wouldn't really be deadly to higher level players as the damage the backfire does is only enough to kill low levels probably under 20.

Listening to classic players panic and lose their minds on bosses with zero mechanics is crazy to watch... on top that first clip. Guy is on like 30% hp, playing HC, has no hotkey for Healing Pot or Healthstone. Keep his mouse over it. Why ? Its 30% hp, just use it... so many classic zugzugs.
the amount of disconnects that lead to entire guilds wiping... why anyone would play "hardcore" is beyond me. There's very little skill compared to competing with server stability.

@@bonsaw57 TBF, they nerfed so much of the PvP exploits it's easy to forget that they didn't get everything. In most cases the game no longer lets you attack a PvP flagged player or NPC unless you manually flag yourself.

I think this is known bug for all kinds of stairs, did you play a female human? You can fall through any stairs at certain points near walls.

Listening to classic players panic and lose their minds on bosses with zero mechanics is crazy to watch... on top that first clip. Guy is on like 30% hp, playing HC, has no hotkey for Healing Pot or Healthstone. Keep his mouse over it. Why ? Its 30% hp, just use it... so many classic zugzugs.

The plan was to just clear some for the gfpp recipe (which actually dropped) and also take the portal for the atunment, but we decided to also kill the drakes because why not

No. He attacked a MCed character. Why would do that ? You can see him target and start attacking. He 100% died from his own misplay.
He DID attack a mind controlled friendly….. it’s kind of common knowledge not to attack your friends…… and have a tank pick them up or get them cc’d.. anything but what he did really
@@bonsaw57 TBF, they nerfed so much of the PvP exploits it's easy to forget that they didn't get everything. In most cases the game no longer lets you attack a PvP flagged player or NPC unless you manually flag yourself.
