the biggest issue with that door with the lock on it Jim, is that the hinges are on the outside, and the pin that holds them in place can be knocked out super easily. it would be better if the hinges were not visible on the outside of the door.
You're right. It's already going to be in a vault room with a vault door to access the room, so this is just a little added security to slow someone down.

Might be worth putting up more of that stuff up on the wall it’s not on, so someone can’t just punch through the drywall and bypass the vault door. I mentioned the Yukon tag prices during the livestream, and I unfortunately don’t live there, but it may be worth planning a trip there, considering you are guaranteed tags. UU bar ranch might be a closer option for you too.

I’d love to see some recoil comparisons vs rifle weight. I have an 11lb 7 rem mag savage with some holes drilled in the barrel (probably 1980’s) and it’s very shootable. My son inherited his great grandpas 7mm rem mag, it’s 2lbs lighter and 2” shorter barrel. And it’s significance more recoil. So my goal is to work towards a lighter rifle for backpack hunting. If I get a 6lb rifle with a proper brake and say a 3d printed hex recoil pad… how do I compare them all? Will a 6lb vs 12lb in the same cartridge kick twice as hard without any recoil reducing add ons?

Other than copper bullets, can you recommend perhaps 1-2 brands of factory ammo and bullets for reloading that expand a bit cleaner than the eldx? Thank you
I wish that more of the safe manufacturers would take some of these interchangeability ques. Trying to fit a firearm in every other space or not being able to use all of the full potential from how they decide to space things is a little beyond ridiculous.
Looks nice, but those seams... Maybe it wouldn't be as pronounced with a solid color vice camouflage? Manufacturer needs to provide hardware to join sections and keep the flush/aligned, or you need to cut them into various lengths and vary the install to stagger the joints.

Don't bother with the vault door, I could go through the wall in about 10 minutes. Believe it not it's only about twenty minutes if it's brick on the outside wall.

I like the Bergara BXR for a hunting 22lr. A bonded bullet like an Accubond would be a good choice.
The contrast due to how dark the material is makes it kind of difficult to see the toys.
Maybe some bar lights with more intense lighting would help
