Do you know what an isakai is (I don't know how to spell it) if you don't know it's mean that when a person die he get reborn in another world and most of the time that world have magic ✨(and he can reborn as anything even an animal)

The genre you are talking about that this is from is called “isekai” (pronounced eeh-seh-kai) and it covers anything to do with being brought into another world rather it be through reincarnation, being straight up summoned to another world via ritual, or anything like that and a lot of series in this genre end up being ridiculously similar to each other and this one in particular is built around and heavily portrays obvious aspects from 2 major shows of the genre “that time I got reincarnated as a slime” and “arifureta from commonplace to world’s strongest” while also adding some new twists. Most animes you can find in this genre(with a few exceptions) are oftenly low budget and don’t really tend to turn out to into masterpieces of shows like some of the others you have reacted to the openings of but all the same they are still usually quite decent so they are perfect for people such as myself who find themselves running out of shows to watch
The ending is just pure madness....they were just having fun with it....but if you turn on subtitles, she's actually telling the story of what happened to her

@@GOTGames The first outro basically tells the tale of her "experience"! Some of the "intricate terms" she recites are a little too complicated for me, but I understand 98% of the outro and it's absolutely hilarious!
Spider endings are some of my favorite endings for any anime because they’re sung by Yuuki Aoi (who voices the main character), who has an incredible singing voice- but she sung them in the main character’s voice which is even more impressive (she also did this for the ED of Saga of Tanya the Evil). She is seriously one of my favorite VAs because she has incredible range, both in voice acting and singing.
The endings are “for fun”, but what makes the first one so great is it’s her singing about how her life as a spider sucks (and that’s basically an apt summary of how her life is going in the first half of the season).

The main character Kumoko's voice actor, Aoi Yuuki, also voices Tanya from Youjo Senki (Saga of Tanya the Evil). And lo and behold, both characters sing their own ending song.
I guess she also voices Madoka.
She even sings her parts in the first ending of Isekai Quartet.
Ah I love that!
She also sings (a lot) in 'Symphogear'. She is the M.C = Hibiki.

Yesss i’m so glad you reacted to this! I personally love this anime. It’s gorey, hilarious, unique, and the plot is great!The story can be a bit confusing at times which I cant explain cause it would be a spoiler. The general plot of the anime is that a normal classroom of students suddenly exploded and all of them got reincarnated into a new world. Most of the students got reincarnated as normal humans but the main character, got reincarnated as a spider in the most dangerous dungeon in that world. The parts with the humans can be a bit “meh” at times but every moment with main spider character is GOLD and super entertaining!
And Kumoko's antics are just pure comedy gold.

Also the artist for Busty Greedy Spider (op2) also did Re: Zero op1 and 3, No game no life op, absolute duo op, and other great songs. Her name is Konomi Suzaki
The endings are great because the first one is her, fresh into the world, screaming about how horrid her new life as a spider is, while the second one is her after she got strong and is basically just her teabagging all the monsters that used to be so much stronger than her.
Good summary of the two seasons lol. Season 1: her getting her ass kicked and constantly almost dying. Season 2: her kicking everyone else's asses.

dude it was so funny seeing how confused you got from the openings to the endings LOL. The animations for the ends are just the creators having fun with it but the ending songs are actually the voice actress for the main character Aoi Yuuki (the spider) singing about everything that happens to her in the show. You would definitely love this show it's so good. I definitely recommend it after you finish your first twitch anime the concept behind both shows is very similar.

You gotta react to this. As a Light Novel reader I can say that this goes deeper than you would think. The story, worldbuilding, voice acting and character development are all top-notch and this series is criminally underrated. Have a look for yourself

agreed the Light Novel is amazing and goes waaaay deeper than whats in the anime. For me the anime fell a bit short in quality with mediocre animation and butchering the world building. But Aoi Yuuki really carried the series I still love it.
I highly recommend you watch "Ranking of Kings" opening and endings. Their openings are one of my favorite anime openings and their endings are pretty chill.

Just so you know, if you watch the first ending with English subtitles the song basically explains the entire show. The spider sings about how they were reincarnated as a spider are is upset that everything wants to kill her. It’s a show about survival as a small weak spider in a video game-like word.
It's safe to react to. It doesn't have any real focus on fanservice. It's a solid story but the story telling jumps back and forth on the timeline so can be a little confusing at first but that anime is amazing.!! Quick Synopsis: An entire class is isekai'd into this world and some are reborn....uh differently.

00:22 The "reincarnated/transported to a new world" genre is called isekai. It's recently made a bit of a resurgence after being filled with bog-standard copycat messes for quite a few years after it got popular.
No, reicarnated is called " tensei " and teleported is called " isekai "
Sekai refers to the world whereas Isekai means "different world" or "other world" so it generally means there's the original world the character comes from and they end up in another one. Tensei, as Pedro said, is for being reincarnated; but calling it an isekai still works if the person gets reincarnated into a new world.

The story is about a classroom on Earth getting nuke by unknown magic and everyone in it dies and reincarnates in a fantasy world, with the difference being our MC reincarnated as a Spider.

The Spider series is PHENOMENAL! Explaining the whole "spiders wearing hats" is difficult to explain without spoiling, but perhaps the simplest explanation I can of the series is "MC is reincarnated as a Spider type monster in a fantasy world" and the majority is their struggles adapting to the world and surviving the insane reality they are now a part of. The endings are mostly a "for fun" thing (so don't be distracted by the concert themes) but the first one at least does a great job of telling the story when translated to english.
Highly recommend this series since while being an "Isekai" (other world series) it is one of those where the MC winds up in a different kind of situation from the common trope with the theme. (For starters, reincarnated as a monster rather than a humanoid.) This whole thing is about going from "the frying pan, into the fire, into the volcano, into a star, then back to the frying pan to keep going". If you can manage to watch this series without cracking the hell up, I will be incredibly impressed.

i didn't read the light novel but from an anime watcher perspective season 1 was one of the most interesting and best isekai i watched. Just hope they would give it more budget.

Couldn’t have been more perfect timing. I just recently caught up with the light novel, and let me just say this series is great!
Its world is actually pretty brutal with a sad backstory, but when watching the perspective of the main character it just becomes fun times all round with her chaotic inner monologues.
So the Ending is so crazy because its like all the things that in Kumoko (the main character spider) mind because of all the Crazy thing she experience, the anime has a pretty good plot and yeah its like Overlord, one of the best isekai for story alone.
Aoi Yuuki Truly making this Show really Fun (ofc the ending song making it a Masterpiece)
totally agree on this... the only negative i see on this anime tbh: the last few episodes, you really notice them running out of budget xD but besides that its a great show totally worth watching (and also save to react)

This anime, man, I love it so much
The setting is pretty interesting, and the main character is the cutest damn spider, her shenanigans are highly entertaining. Unfortunately the studio responsible for it had a lot of issues, and about half the actual episodes or more had a major drop in production quality. They managed to turn it around for the last episode of the season, but it was probably too little too late.
I hope they manage to either remake it or get the go ahead for a new season, but I'm afraid there's probably not much chance of that happening.
I love how your reaction to ED 1 is "What is happening....?!" and Kumoko's whole song is boiled down to "What the actual fk is HAPPENING to me right now?????!!!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You would absolutely love this show. Like you said it checks all the boxes, it's just as action packed as the OPs...but ALSO just as weird and quirky as the EDs. A big theme of the show is mystery so the less you know the better, but if you enjoy the OPs and EDs then you'll love the show.
Fun fact: The singer for the EDs is the voice actress for our Spider protag.

IT FINALLY HAPPENS!!! These songs are just so good, I knew you would like them! And, yeah, the endings are kind of a trap XD.
The show has a few issues with its production value, but the story really carries it. And the way the story is told is something I've never seen anywhere else. It's about a bunch of people reincarnated in a video game like fantasy world, the protagonist in particular ends up as a spider, and she is just trying to survive in the dungeon she was born as the weakest monster possible. It is very gory, but it's pretty safe to watch, that outfit in the opening is the farthest the show gets in that direction.
Next for recommendations... well, it's hard to top these songs, but "Tate no Yuusha"/"Rise of the shield hero" is still very good. After that we dive in more obscure territory, and I'd say "BTOOOOM!!!" is a great option to go there as both openings were done by Nano.

edit: yeah, the endings are just the animators having fun. it's basically the main character venting her frustrations in her head, singing out her troubles to an imaginary crowd. it's all in her head, which is a little sad in the context of the anime.
The german phrase to "I must be going crazy" could be translated as "I think I spider" - which absolutely fits this anime xD

It's one of the stranger isekai characters that also managed to get popular among an ocean of isekais. Not as weird as the vending machine one, but what is really? The anime content-wise is pretty safe and it's enjoyable. Also, yeah the endings are mental don't worry about them. lol
These anime are called "Isekai", it literally means another world, meaning anime where the main character is transported to another world are isekai
The ending theme is especially the first one is just Kumoko ranting about her life after being isekai-ed. It's so chaotic and all-over the place which also reflects the turmoil and sufferings she endured after being reincarnated. This show is good, a recommended watch. They just had some production issues during the latter part of the series which was very apparent but it is still a fun anime never the less.
'isekai' genre i think just literally means 'other world' and includes a variety of stories - reincarnation, traveling to alternate universes, anything in between. I think they establish the premise pretty early on - an entire classroom of kids (and teacher) is isekai'd into a fantasy world. The MC in particular was reborn as a spider, but the show does check up on the others from time to time. But she's always the best part. And ... she has a bit of an imagination. Spends a lot of energy inside her own head.
The endings were sang by the voice actor of the spider aoi yukki... She's a va for many great characters of many animes.
This anime "so, I am spider so what " is as good as " I got reincarnated as slime " . They are kind of similar . I would recommend this anime after the slime one.
If I describe this anime . I would say, the approach of the story makes it more interesting , because you will get confused . 🙂
We would enjoy pulling you down the rabbit hole and watching you figure out what's happening to you. Also like someone else commented watch the first end with subtitles on and it will clear up some confusion. Seeing you hit ending 1 with no subtitles just made my day. Thank you. thank you.
This show has many issues, but my god, the performance of the MC, Aoi Yuuki, who you hear losing her sanity in the EDs, make this one of my favorite isekais ever. The full version of the first ED is UNHINGED
But to be honest, I can't honestly recommend the show, because yeah, it has amazing moments, but it also has huge lows
Most of those lows are animation though! It’s better than slime
If you enjoyed the anime I highly recommend reading the light novel. The anime cut out quite a bit of stuff that happens.

Your surprised and so damn confused face with the first ending was hilarious! Like internally screaming "WTH I AM WATCHING?!" but yeah, they did the ending for the lulz but if you watch the ending with subs, you will realize Kumoko is just explaining how horrible her life as a spider has been.
Oh, and yeah, Aoi Yuuki herself did the voice for Kumoko (the cute spider) and sang the ED song.
Btw, go and watch Youjo Senki, you will enjoy how delightfully awesome Aoi Yuuki's crazy side is by voicing Tanya.
You really need to watch the full version of the 1st crazy ending. It gets crazier.

The best thing about ED 1 is the lyrics are basically her angrily screaming "This is bullshit!! I could have reincarnated into a super cute magical girl! WHY THE F&%$ AM I A SPIDER?!! THIS SUCKS!!" 🤣🤣🤣 By the way Luke, going into the world of anime you will soon realize that isn't that "cheeky" by anime stardards. Most of the shows average people say is for kids, like Dragon Ball and Naruto go WAAAAAAAY harder on the "cheeky" stuff. Like, the girl in black outfit is basically wearing the same kinda outfit as Chichi as a kid in Dragon Ball XD
The Double-Wraparound-Rope-A-Dope: We let you THINK the title about a spider is about a spider so you think it's NOT about a spider, then you see a spider which makes you think it's about a spider. Then you find out it's not about a spider, but a girl. She then turns into a spider. Mission Success.
The end theme reminds me of Dragon Half. Love the MC's voice!

I’m recommending the OP and ED for The Eminence in Shadow, the OP is actually done by OxT who did 3 of the Openings for Overlord
as a rule of thumb... you can ignore the endings from the plot perspective... but it can show you often the personality or state of mind of the characters...
The anime IS good. Especially the mystery of the underlying story you need to figure out gives it a nice twist and makes it fun. But unfortunatelly because of bad direction and production issues it looks not as good by the end.

Aoi Yuuki is the VA for the MC/ spider as well the singer for both Ed’s and is an absolute marvel of a VA.

This would be a fantastic show to react to, tbh. It's very unique, fast paced, and overall such a fun adventure show as she learns about the world
Aoi Yuki the voice actress of Kumoko (the MC) sings the outtros. She also voices Tanya (Tanya The Saga of Evil) Clemintine (Overlord) Diane (7 Deadly Sins) Froppy (My Hero) and a bunch of others that I can't remember off of the top of my head.
When it comes to this anime a good rule to follow is to take your first assumption and throw it aside as theres a very high chance it is wrong. This anime isso full of plot twists that it will frequently catch one by surprise watching the first time, and thats something I loved. If you have not done so already I would HIGHLY reccomand you give it a watch through.
the first ed is amazing because the voice actor for the 'only' spider sings about the whole story of the first half of the season, you would get a good summary if you had the english subs for it

I remember watching this after going and reading the novels for That time I reincarnated as a Slime and Overlord, and I decided to go and actually read the novel for this after thinking the show was fun, and DEAR GOD the novels are insane. Definitely one of my favorite series.

Without spoilers this show is about a classroom of students being reborn in a fantasy world. The main protaganist (known as Kumoko or "Spider Girl" by the community) happens to have been reborn as a spider monster instead of a human.
Its not technically a spoiler but it should be noted that as the show swaps between character perspectives, it also hops around in the timeline. For example, we are introduced to the first human classmate at age 15, as opposed to Kumoko who we follow from birth. These characters were transported/born at the same time.

The part where you can see four spiders together reading in a room doesn't mean that she goes to a magic school for spiders or anything of the sort, it's a representation of main character's skill Lateral Thinking, that allows her to have several copies of herself in her mind, that way there is one "her" in charge of moving the body, another in charge of strategies, another in charge of making magic calculations and another one actually casting spells.

Fun fact: spiders actually do this in real life as a sign of happiness or (mostly tarantulas) there are kicking hairs at a predator.
Yes, arachnids do have hair and their are so thin that if this hairs gets on your skin, it will have a similar feel to touching a cactus bare handed.
There is also an additional song for this anime, never heards in anime itself, called 「Desperate☆Rhapsody」and I heavily recomend listening to it... with subtitles xD
Reincarnation in general is Tensei, but it usually falls into the Isekai( ee-say-kah-ee) genre, meaning “other world”. Usually, someone dies, and is born again as humanoid, or something off the wall like a monster or object. Isekai on it’s own can occasionally be just being summoned or stumbling into a new world.

In short and without spoiler this anime has two perspectives one the spider (that the community called Kumoko-San since she doesn't have a name till chapter 100+ in the light novel) and the boy with blue hair, basically a Japanese high school class was reincarnated in another world that is similar to a videogame fantasy world (a bit like dnd) the spider has to fight and evolve so she can survive, the anime is gory yes (but not on the level of attack on titan) but not so cheeky has it seems
P. S. The singer of the two ending is the voice actress of the spider
