The amount of hours I sank into Hot Pursuit 2 from 2002 cannot be quantified. I also spent many hours on Most Wanted and Carbon. Underground 1 and 2 were alright.
Carbon is my top 1 in my NFS top 10. But ill just show it to you right below. 1:Carbon 2:Underground 2 3:Most Wanted (2005) 4:Pro Street 5:Hot Pursuit (1998) (Ahh, Those good times.) 6:Hot Pursuit (2010) (Why? Cause you get to play as the cops. Plus all those EMPs, Spikes, etc.) 7:Shift (Very realistic.) 8:Most Wanted (2012) (Only game i play with my friend on. He only plays the latest games.) 9: 10:
luis alfonso victorino ramos I may have forgot 9 and 10. Here they are 9:The Run (Just nope. Very nope. Don't call the engineer to nope me.) 10:Rivals (THAT FKING 30 FPS CAP KILLS ME!) Plus, Do you think my English is perfect?

s_hbeto1256Mx no offense but the only good NFS in that list is Hot Pursuit 2010, to me that was the last great NFS in my book, after 2010 it all went downhill from there IMO
Underground 2, Carbon, ProStreet and Shift 2 (still play this one a lot and it has some of the best features in a racing game...) are the ones i enjoyed the most, the physics weren't completely arcady like nowadays and the customization is awesome on all of them
Most Wanted, Carbon, and Prostreet. All of my favorites released three years in a row. Can't believe it was 10 years ago since Most Wanted . . . Underground and Hot Pursuit were great also, good times with friends back in the day.
First of all, sorry for my English, I am 13 and I'm from Ukraine, so my English is bad. My favourite NFS games is Underground series. I loved NFS Underground for it's graphics (for it's time it was amazing), for simple cars (no supercars, just cheap cars that you can customize and upgrade), and for atmosphere of street racing (I very loved that music, that city, that races! They made me feel in my childhood that I was the real street racer). I loved a lot NFS Underground 2 for it's unbeliveable tuning (you can change here almost EVERYTHING in your car), for new kinds of cars (they are still not a supercars, but they are not so much cheap as in previous games, I talking about Jeeps and Ford Mustang, the first ones are new type of cars and new fun, the second one is some kind of ideal of car, the best that you can buy in this game, such as Nissan Skyline in first game, that is still in the second game) and URL (Underground Racing Leage, I don't know why I so loved it, but I think this is what I wanted to see in the first game) But graphics... Graphics was the only bad thing in this game, it was bad even for it's time. Now, when I want to make me remember my childhood (I mean when I want to play this game), I allways install graphic mods. I still liked NFS Underground Rivals, the game was not so bad, but it wasn't so much good as previous games. It was exclusive for PSP, now I even don't know where is my PSP and I playing in this game on the emulator. So why I don't so much loved this game? There wasn't atmosphere of street racing. I mean it was, but not so good as in first one and second one. It's just playeble racing game, and it's all. I know, this is stupid, but I still waiting for NFS Underground 3. I mean not a remake, I mean sequel with storyline and custscenes, and, of course, atmosphere of street racing! In third Underground I want to see more realistic racing mechanics (no, physics is physics, I meant bets - in real street racing to win money you making a bet, but there is no bets in previous games! Also there need to be sponsors, but it also was in second game), as good tuning as in Underground 2 or even more (I think more EA need to give more attention for perfomance tuning, because in real street racing you mostly changing your engine at all, but not only upgrading it. It is just one of important examples, the second one is not endless nitro - you need to buy new nitro every single time you use all of it. Yes this is hard, but this is more realistic), Olympic City with open-world (this is city from the first game, but there was no open world, and after the second game I really wanted to ride my car in open-world Olympic City. Even more, Olympic City is my favourite city in NFS Series and this isn't strange why I so much want this city in open-world), and more I want to see. But I understand that even if EA will make NFS Underground 3, there will be even not a half I want to see in this game.
Andre Hallqvist V-Rally wasn't part of the series, EA just renamed it after buying the rights. But damn that, even V-Rally games were amazing! Not like Motor City Online.
+Elite Division Intel It looks like the author of the vid used console versions of NFS2 and V Rally, while using the PC version of NFS3 with full 3d acceleration. So it's a bit of a master race thing, actually. But still, it was around this time when 3d acceleration cards were getting popular. In particular, NFS3 supported Voodoo cards and looked much nicer on them. Afaik, the rain effect only works on Voodoo cards, so the author must have used a Voodoo emulator to run the game.
Ratings (of the ones I've played) Hot Pursuit 2: 10/10 Underground: 8/10 Underground 2: 10/10 Most Wanted (2005): 10/10 Carbon: 8/10 Pro Street: 8/10 Shift: 6/10 Hot Pursuit 2010: 7/10 World: 8/10 The Run: 6/10 Underground 2 and Most Wanted for LIFE!
The original NFS was fantastic. Played that for years and years. Loved the cockpit view, beeping horns, exotic cars and fun tracks in a variety of environments.
My 1st fact is Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005) because the music the sound effects and the cars are so awesome and my 2nd is Undercover because it has great graphics and it finally has a damage engine.
Nathan Felisilda I liked Most Wanted as well because it was the second game to have free roam, but it added the cops. Most Wanted really changed it up from games like Underground, and I really liked how different it was. My favorite NFS of all time has to be Porsche Unleashed because it was the first NFS I played as a child, and I have so many memories. The only bad part is my sister stepped on the CD and broke it as well as Need For Speed 2. I haven't played Porsche Unleashed or Need for Speed 2 on my PS1 or PS2 for 10 years, RIP. XD
good news!: criteria has left nfs, ghost games has 2 years to make a game. they are listening to the comunity they hinted they will make a nfs game that everyone wants.
this is an awesome vid its really amazing to see how they changed from how you can see the pixels to looking like gta v aka a real ned video game also is that u playing
..but the actual original NFS games will always be the best. Sure supercars aren't obtainable unless you have deep pockets but that's what kicked off the series.
Um there is a most wanted 2.....it was launched in 2012...i played all the nfs's from underground till today and i can tell that after carbon nfs franchise turned into shit
George Racoveanu I know there is a Second Most Wanted. But it's looks like a shitty game.. I mean the REAL Most Wanted.. If you know what I mean... Sorry for my bad english
+Sedef Carbon is Most Wanted's Sequel (Literally the story starts as the player from Most Wanted returns to Carbon's city (I forget the name) after escaping Cross in Rockport)
personally i would say need for speed most wanted 2005 was the bets it has an amazing story line and was just amazing nfs rivals is good and so are the rest but no doubt most wanted 2005 is the best
i respect your point, but i find most wanted a little far from realisme compared to others (not talking about psp versions) i liked underground 2 and carbon, i preffer carbon over all because of the muscle cars and the challenge part, you know that challenge with the green 1971 challenger R/T ? and the other one with the skyline vs police ? damn those were some gooood days
that's what i meant, fun and "badassitude" are part of the NFS recipe, but the physics have always been realistic enough to be logical, but now, at 300k/h, you hit the brake and stop in 1 second ? check out forza horizon, it's not fully simu nor fully arcade all it needs is the "NFS spirit" to be an nfs (just as example)
The older games (underground 2 - carbon) are so so so much better in my and my friends' opinion. We thought the later nfs games after carbon would be made better so we took a look at prostreet - hot pursuit. But then we returned to underground 2 anyway xD didn't buy the later games but rivals, cus it has free roam. still shit though.
The older games? What are you talking about those were shit. Underground ruined the series, and Underground 2? Well why the hell would I want to drive SUVS in a bloody racing game!
It all started sucking ass after Hot Pursuit 2010 Reason: No more customization :( Carbon and Undercover had it... But my favorite was Most Wanted 2005 (still play it today)
***** I also think that the Hot Pursuit from 2002 was very good, although it had no customization (Instead NFS Cars which had a cool paintjob and were tuned :D)
my top 5: 1-nfs the run (cinematic atmosphere) 2-nfs most wanted(love kickin' cops pretty asses) 3-nfs rivals(cool graphics but lame car crash physics) 4-nfs most wanted 2(i felt myself like a remote controlled car) 5-nfs underground 2(childhood)
The earlier games were much more amazing achievements for their time. For example, in NFS2 and NFS2:SE the developers actually took time to see and film each vehicle and made showcases of the vehicles specs along with those videos. Also, all the games prior to Hot Pursuit 2 had music that was composed exclusively for the game, which was amazing. You want to hear some awesome racing music? Listen to the NFS2 and NFS3:HP soundtracks. Those two had the most amazing music I have ever heard on a racing game. After that I think Electronic Arts started becoming the EA we know today, producing games every year and while the quality and wow factor might be there, the heart is not. NFSU and NFSU2 were also great, and were the first of their kind. Ramblings of an old school NFS player.
The first NFS has the best showcase of the cars, with videos, pictures and so on... not strange, considering it was made in collaboration with Road&Track, a proper car magazine. :) They continued that trend in NFS2, and gave some depth to the game in Porsche, the rest are weak or non-existent. Which is a great shame, as it really makes the games stand out from the rest of the mindless arcade racers. As it stands, Test Drive Unlimited (and 2) are far better than any contemporary NFS when it comes to road racing.
Dear EA, Next NFS should include: - Tuning of Underground 2 - Story like Most Wanted - Speed feeling of Pro Street - Graphics of Rivals - Sound of Rivals - Offline AND Singleplayer. Stop making people need to play online to get the best gaming experience, if you play Rivals offline you feel like playing in an abandoned country, and if u already make a game that needs other players, fucking increase the maximum player amount then. Rivals had such a big map with not even 10 players playing on it, wtf were u guys thinkin man. Damn.
Need for Speed Hot pursuit 2010 is more or less, Mos Wanted 2012 is a crap dude, horrible. Underground 1 e 2, most wanted and carbon are the best forever. Pro Street too.
High Stakes/Road Challenge is my personal favorit of all racinggames ever existed. It was actually the first racing-game i ever played back in 1999. I absolutely loved the car-psychic. You could notice the car handled different in the rain and in the snow. The variation of tracks as well. You could race across forests, ruins, mountains and city streets. The selection of the cars was absolut perfection. It wasn't "many" cars, but the sportcars that matters such as Mclaren F1 and Ferrari F50. The music was just epic, everything from breakbeat to drum'n'bass by Rom di Prisco and Junkie XL. Some people would complain it felt like a more upgraded version of Hot Pursuit, but i think they made High Stakes into the better game.
I'm gonna' put up my top five favorites as well, seeing as everyone else is doing something similar. 1: NFS Carbon 2: NFS ProStreet 3: NFS Underground 1/2 (been too long for me to be able to tell the difference now) 4: NFS The Run 5: NFS Hot Pursuit
Graystripe000 Bullshit. 1: Underground1/2 2: Most Wanted 3: Carbon The run, hot pursuit and prostreet are the beginning of ea to ruin themselves. At least good hopes on the new part coming out soon ^^
Progecy || Commentaries Incoming :D 〈3 So you're basically being a dumbass and saying that my opinion is not my opinion and you know me better than I do? Yeah, it's as stupid as it sounds.
Graystripe000 I agree with you, your opinion is your opinion. But really, ProStreet is on that list and Most Wanted(2005) is not. You must be really young.
Actually, I'm 18 years old. And honestly, I never really got a chance to play most any of the NFS Most Wanted games (there are two or three if I'm not mistaken). I played one or two races here and there, but that's it.
need for speed 2 was my favorite, with all the secret cars...countless hours driving around as a giant dinosaur or something...hot pursuit on PS1 was also great...and of course underground 2...damn I feel old!
+Sawier Porsche unleashed (PC version) is still my favorite Need for Speed, though you have to watch out what you say because the PS1 version of Porsche Unleashed sucks in comparison. Because of the PS1 hardware it was produced using the old graphics/physics engine, it wasn't until the next game (when the PS2 came out) that the versions converged once more.
I loved underground 2. I played it as a young kid and something about it just was so nice. Just the vibe i got from it was great. by far m favorite of the series.
I wish the Underground series continued but it ended there because Underground 2 was my first and favourited need for speed series. And NFS Carbon connected to NFS Most Wanted 2005 because the intro has the stupid cop from Most Wanted 2005 what was his name? But he was too damn crazy using a Corvette police car and in the cutsence of NFS Carbon has the same car (Kinda abandonded because it's wrecked) from NFS Most Wanted. And Most Wanted 2 (2010) has an easter egg you can make the car from Most Wanted 1 you can research if you don't know what I mean.
Oh my god this was nostalgic to watch! I have played especially NFS(3) Hot Pursuit and NFS Porsche Unleashed(or Porsche 2000 as it was called in Europe) so much it hurts:)
Would be awesome if EA should make an Need for Speed that haves: cars from 1997-2014, tunning, police, world-wide map(I mean all the countries! Not just a little custom map!), cop and racer career, a thing where you can make your own vinyls, extremly realistic physics(because when you gonna make an curve, the car will not drift, it looks like an crappy Science Fiction car movie) and very much rivals(like 20-50). And I would like if will be called Need for Speed Ultimate.
This is possible! I think a lots of people will buy it but a game that is that big can have many bugs. And most of the new games that EA releases are crap. Because the producers of the games are under pressure from EA. That's really sad. I really wish they bring the tuning back.
Probably a marketing move to hold the tuning for a while to refresh the series and to boost the sales of a new game with it because the series is dying.
Love Nordahl Not really. It was all visual custom from 2003 to 2008 straight, plus World. Also Motor City Online from 2001 was ment to be part of the NFS series at first. The supercar road races, the rallies (Shift, Shift 2, V Rally, V Rally 2, though the last two were not developped by EA studios) as well as the "bling bling faggot styling" are all part of the series wether you like it or not; haha. Tuning is fine as long as it's not just jacky and Hummers, imo. :)
are you kidding me, we need night racing in a city like area with highly modifiable cars and a variety of cars meaning slow tuners to mid tuners, to sports cars, muscle cars, luxury cars and super cars. Well kinda like Midnight Club to be honest lol
I don't think there's tuning because car manufactures don't want their cars to have unofficial parts on them, I'm not fully sure but is is most likely one of the reasons
FranticShooting It's time to move man, you can't stay stuck with tuning cars, if you are dissatisfied with this new generation NFS, then go back to the old ones. Not against you or anything.
Max SonSon its mainly why the forza horizon series has an advantage, now with horizon 2 getting drivetrain swaps and advanced tuning, theres no way NFS will be able to compete now unless they go all out with customization which is the main reason alot of people started playing NFS games in the first place
Nice to see some Porsche 2000 / Unleashed fans out there. It is also my favourite NFS game, still to this day. I have a soft spot for the PC version, mainly because of the much longer factory driver mode, the much more realistic control, and the superb track design (this game has, IMO, some of the greatest tracks ever created in a racing game). That said, the PS1 version is worth trying out too, despite being completely different. It has some fun "single race" modes and a stellar soundtrack (love how the music style changes as you progress through the evolution mode), and it is much more arcade-oriented than the PC version.
I agree with you, friend. The plot in Most Wanted (2005) is very good for a racing game, it makes me want to seek revenge against Razor and The Blacklist, not to mention the nostalgia factor. Also love the orange-ish visuals of the game, the wild cop chases and the soundtrack. I miss that.
Well most of people disagree with me but thats my opinion because it was the first nfs game I played and since I was amazed by it I figured out I would play every nfs game I could play
The amount of hours I sank into Hot Pursuit 2 from 2002 cannot be quantified.
I also spent many hours on Most Wanted and Carbon.
Underground 1 and 2 were alright.
To me, Prostreet was the beginning of the end.
Too much racetrack, when I want a simulation, I play Forza.
Nihilus yeah you're right
Nihilus Forza is sort of a simcade. Even turn 10 said this. If you want simulation, play project cars. That is way more realistic
Forza 5? are you high?
Nihilus No, I'm not high. Forza 5 is realistic, but not a true simulator
Am i the only one who likes the classic NFS games? (You know, Carbon, Most Wanted, Underground 1 and 2, Those are the best.)
Carbon is my top 1 in my NFS top 10. But ill just show it to you right below.

luis alfonso victorino ramos NUMBER 5 IS INCORRECT. Its Hot Pursuit (2002)

Then why you have to be so angry? The 2002 Hot Pursuit is also a classic game.

Oh the Memories! Thanks you so much man i think i'm gonna try and find my PS2 and play some NfS Most Wanted (2005) again :D
The story of NFS Most Wanted (the original/first one) is the best. I want the tuning features back, and more story.

I liked Carbon as a follow up.
Original NFSMW will always have a special place in my heart, so many good memories.
NFS went to shit after Carbon.
The NFS Hot pursuit reboot was really good
Lisinski Gaming But the original hot pursuit is still better.
The only thing better about the old hot pursuit was the helicopters that dropped bombs. You may think it's better but if you were to go play it again you wouldn't like it
Lisinski Gaming I believe that was hot pursuit 2 but I could be mistaking, long time ago hehe.
MrGamerBoy The Run and HP are good, others are shit
Porsche Unleashed Forever!!

Most Wanted & Carbon had the best STORY. I my opinion NFS games with stories and open world are much better.
yes the Need For Speed world was a great game for free
absolutly
If you can call five or six cutscenes a story.
NFS: Underground 2 : am i a joke to you?
Lol nfs never had a good story,it was cheesy and corny asf
Am I the only one who remembers the NFS games before Underground?
Kovács Péter all boring.
Kovács Péter I remember V-rally but didn't know it was a nfs game, also I tried the original nfs but I think that was in 2005 or something
Doc Shemp High Stakes? Hot Pursuit? The Need for Speed? Without them, Most Wanted wouldn't exist.
Andre Hallqvist V-Rally wasn't part of the series, EA just renamed it after buying the rights. But damn that, even V-Rally games were amazing! Not like Motor City Online.
Kovács Péter I had Porsche Unleashed and High Stakes as a kid
You forget about Motor City Online tho. :P but well made, nice vid, brings lots of memories.
R.I.P Need For Speed World.... :(
(1997 -> 1998) notice the graphics change. Its freaking impressive!
edi12312 Love dem textures...
But if you look at NFS 1999, compared to the NFS 1999 V Rally... WTF?

Shift: 6/10
Hot Pursuit 2010: 7/10
World: 8/10
The Run: 6/10
Underground 2 and Most Wanted for LIFE!
Oh crap
Undercover: Quit the game halfway through/10
NFS Carbon & NFS The Run are easily my favorites. I wish they made more of them like with The Run's story, but open world.
The original NFS was fantastic. Played that for years and years. Loved the cockpit view, beeping horns, exotic cars and fun tracks in a variety of environments.
Hot Pursuit was my first one, owned every one after that. High Stakes is still my favorite to this day.
My 1st fact is Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005) because the music the sound effects and the cars are so awesome and my 2nd is Undercover because it has great graphics and it finally has a damage engine.
My 1st Fav*
Agree
Nathan Felisilda SO IS MINE!!
Nathan Felisilda to I
Tc
Nathan Felisilda I liked Most Wanted as well because it was the second game to have free roam, but it added the cops. Most Wanted really changed it up from games like Underground, and I really liked how different it was. My favorite NFS of all time has to be Porsche Unleashed because it was the first NFS I played as a child, and I have so many memories. The only bad part is my sister stepped on the CD and broke it as well as Need For Speed 2. I haven't played Porsche Unleashed or Need for Speed 2 on my PS1 or PS2 for 10 years, RIP. XD
Manh! i loved to watch this video...you rocked broh!......keep it up..
Need For Speed: Carbon was my first NFS game I ever played!
Reply wich one was yours! :D
carbon
Cool. :D
most wanted 2012, It was a fun game, and i loved the series past games after playing it, but online if most wanted was hella fun
+WildAndrew ooohhh, probably High Stakes or Porsche Unleashed. I only got into the games though around the time Underground came out
My first is nfs hot pursuit 3 (1998) great game
EA,people want Underground 3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Babybarschalarm I liked both Most Wanted 2005 was the best but i also want a better one of both
They would ruin it anyways...
good news!: criteria has left nfs,
ghost games has 2 years to make a game.
they are listening to the comunity
they hinted they will make a nfs game that everyone wants.
Kennet Volquardsen i can see why people like the newer nfs games. if you like them so much why not go and play some burnout?
i would rather play burnout than the new nfs games.
this is an awesome vid its really amazing to see how they changed from how you can see the pixels to looking like gta v aka a real ned video game
also is that u playing
I
ricer
Yalamastyle I liked Underground 2 also because I loved Street Racing back in the day :)
Yalamastyle exotic fan boy
Me too ^^
NFS Underground and Mostwanted are the best :P
Yes they are the best :)
^^
Most Wanted (2005)!
Isaac Diaz most wanted 2012 !!!
R.I.P Need for Speed World
Fk off EA
sad/10
+FaZe Basescu LOL
+FaZe Basescu Fuck that POS game.
k...
FaZe Basescu I'm sorry... :(
You're forgiven ! :)
Need for speed 1994 has interior view, and need for speed rivals 2014 doesnt.. GOOD JOB NFS :-)
Gotta love the ROOTS when all the features and machines are missing from the older title.
NFS1,2,3, HS, PU FTW!
Underground 1 for LIFE!!!!REALISTIC??!! YES!!! Because realistic cars for our realistic young budgets!!!!
..but the actual original NFS games will always be the best.
Sure supercars aren't obtainable unless you have deep pockets but that's what kicked off the series.
Julian Summers That's probably the most stupid reasoning I've ever read.
Guess u never read your birth certificate then
Julian Summers what??
My top 5:
1 Shift 2 Unleashed
2 Underground 2
3 Porsche
4 Most Wanted 2012
5 Undercover
Still waiting for Most Wanted 2..
Oh Ok XD it looks like its coming out this november
+Sedef Carbon is a follow-up from the original mostwanted in terms of story line.
+Sedef Carbon is Most Wanted's Sequel (Literally the story starts as the player from Most Wanted returns to Carbon's city (I forget the name) after escaping Cross in Rockport)
My opinion still stands. Shift is the best Need for Speed game.
Holy crap
need for speed has gotten a long way and i don't think the series is going to end
DEFINITELY
remember when grand turismo use to run shit in the racing genre?
Dominic Lobban Gran Turismo*
Forza was and always has been better than GT
without question but GT started it all
But still, if GT wasn't created, Forza would also very unlikely been made.
Lisinski Gaming For a is a simulator with a bit of arcade. Even turn 10 said this
Hot Pursit 2010....i remeber when i was hyped asf for this game now its 6 years old....man where did the entire time went..
+Portgas D Ace Yea dude , i remember when this game was still new and fresh and 1 min later it's 2016. what the fuck . ;(
+Portgas D Ace Ugh such comments all over..Mate I was born in 1989..Imagine how I feel
Now it’s coming back tho
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2010.....my best Nfs Still now...!! :)
proud to be a part in this great Journey... :)
personally i would say need for speed most wanted 2005 was the bets it has an amazing story line and was just amazing nfs rivals is good and so are the rest but no doubt most wanted 2005 is the best
i respect your point, but i find most wanted a little far from realisme compared to others (not talking about psp versions) i liked underground 2 and carbon, i preffer carbon over all because of the muscle cars and the challenge part, you know that challenge with the green 1971 challenger R/T ? and the other one with the skyline vs police ? damn those were some gooood days
underground to was good but i just prefer most wanted because it was probably the onei played the most
damon-st the point of NFS games is not realism, thats for gran turismo. the point of NFS is freakkin awesomeness and endless fun!
true but if it was really unrealistic it wouldnt be as good
that's what i meant, fun and "badassitude" are part of the NFS recipe, but the physics have always been realistic enough to be logical, but now, at 300k/h, you hit the brake and stop in 1 second ?
check out forza horizon, it's not fully simu nor fully arcade all it needs is the "NFS spirit" to be an nfs (just as example)
Hot Pursuit 2 (2002), Underground 2 (2004), Most Wanted (2005) is best! :)
Aaaah sweet memories... NFS 2 will always be my fav... do you remember driving a bus... or a T-Rex... or a souvenir stand...
U2 is beast.
The older games?
What are you talking about those were shit. Underground ruined the series, and Underground 2? Well why the hell would I want to drive SUVS in a bloody racing game!
*****
Please go back to your Shitty COD. Stupid "modern" gamer.
LOL, you don't know shit about me, I hate COD! I play racing games, and I like NFS from 94' to 02'.
yo i said in my comment it's just my friend's and my opinion.
Nfsmw 2005 better than all together
Yalamastyle says an idiot with a toilet for profile pic....>_>
so true
No i think Underground 1 was the best but Most Wanted 2005 was also good :D
Murda-K Yeah i think everyone loves the first NFS game they played the most of all :P
Underground isn't the first NFS it's the first NFS with Tuning and that is the reason why I love it
Awesome video!
It all started sucking ass after Hot Pursuit 2010
Reason: No more customization :(
Carbon and Undercover had it...
But my favorite was Most Wanted 2005 (still play it today)
***** Like what!? I might buy it XD
What are those features? :O
***** I also think that the Hot Pursuit from 2002 was very good, although it had no customization (Instead NFS Cars which had a cool paintjob and were tuned :D)
To be honest,i have the same opinion as you no more customization i'm a big fan of tuning, after shift every part of nfs was boring to me
The Run was good tho
my top 5:
1-nfs the run (cinematic atmosphere)
2-nfs most wanted(love kickin' cops pretty asses)
3-nfs rivals(cool graphics but lame car crash physics)
4-nfs most wanted 2(i felt myself like a remote controlled car)
5-nfs underground 2(childhood)
This is one nice edit :D
I totally Agree!!!!
First NFS game was Need For Speed: Underground (2003), best NFS to me still
Dear EA,
Next NFS should include:
- Tuning of Underground 2
- Story like Most Wanted
- Speed feeling of Pro Street
- Graphics of Rivals
- Sound of Rivals
- Offline AND Singleplayer.
Damn.
Top NFS games in order:
Most Wanted (2005)
Carbon
Underground 2
Undercover
Underground
Hot pursuit (2010)
Hot pursuit 2
The Run
Let's hope they don't make an Underground 3 or a Carbon 2 because I'm pretty sure that they would ruin it.
Underground 3 is in plans :D idk about Carbon 2
Carbon rocked.
Most of the new games these years: Graphics are great but the gameplay sucks.
Need for Speed Hot pursuit 2010 is more or less, Mos Wanted 2012 is a crap dude, horrible. Underground 1 e 2, most wanted and carbon are the best forever. Pro Street too.

hcddeshwgdznde :@;/#:*$^75$&&44$/uujhyt
Oh carbon, you bring back my childhood memories, but shift 2 was my fave!
Anyone who thinks Most Wanted (2005) isn't good must be out of their bloody mind. That's the best NFS game ever. End of.
I miss when it was about supercars and cops instead of ricers tuners
Why "Need For Speed 2 Special Edition" is not in the list? They used 3d Graphics for the first time in NFS2 SE!!
I'm gonna' put up my top five favorites as well, seeing as everyone else is doing something similar.
1: NFS Carbon
2: NFS ProStreet
3: NFS Underground 1/2 (been too long for me to be able to tell the difference now)
4: NFS The Run
5: NFS Hot Pursuit
Yes
Graystripe000 Bullshit.
1: Underground1/2
2: Most Wanted
3: Carbon
The run, hot pursuit and prostreet are the beginning of ea to ruin themselves.
NFS porsche unleashed is the one i always played, either I was happy playing it, or raging because of how bad i was. Even though, my favorite.
Yes, Porsche unleashed, beautiful game with whole history of Porsche and car restoration and fine tuning the car.. that's my favorite part
NFS Underground would look really good if it was Free Roam like NFS Most Wanted, Most Wanted 2, and Rivals.
Umm? As far as i know, Underground was the first game to have free roam??
simonolthenorwegian
Yeah, the Underground 2 is the firs NFS with free roam, but Cocky Rabbit meant Underground 1.
Oh! I've never played Underground 1, but I've played Underground 2, so i thought there was free roam in Underground 1 too
No shit!
Nfs will always hold a place in my heart and I will never let it go
Need for speed 2005 Most Wanted!!! Best game ever!
Porsche unleashed was the best one
+Sawier Porsche unleashed (PC version) is still my favorite Need for Speed, though you have to watch out what you say because the PS1 version of Porsche Unleashed sucks in comparison. Because of the PS1 hardware it was produced using the old graphics/physics engine, it wasn't until the next game (when the PS2 came out) that the versions converged once more.
Everybody knows nitro was the best
+Prithvi Premraj Nope, it wasn't xD
+Sawier Really, nobody's gonna mention Most Wanted (2005)
It was amazing, and it's criminally underrated. Turned me into a Porsche fan.
R3
Crystal Bradley what?
His name was cross, he was a police officer in the most wanted, but then he got fired and became a bounty hunter, to hunt down the player.
polaski421 yeah but still I missed the Underground series
danishviper0379 need for speed underground 3 might be the next need for speed game
Hot pursuit 2 is the best the helicopters dropped bombs and shit
I miss stuff like that. That's why it will forever be one of my favorite NFS games.
Do you mean hot pursuit 3
Just got Hot Pursuit on PS3 recently and been loving it, absolutely hooked.
"To the winddoooow to the wall"
...... you sir...... cookie
Yes it's got worse and worse and the next one does not even have steering wheel view.
they haven't had a steering view since 2000~ aside from shifts
prix du uyt kh

Worth A Buy Woah, worth a buy commented here? That was unexpected. Love the videos, keep it up! (;
Most Wanted 2005 !!!! genial es lo mejor que haya existidoo !!!
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 and Most Wanted 2005 are the best.
Hot pursuit 2 were memories same with hot pursuit 2010
Need for speed III: HOT PURSUIT QUE BUEN RECUERDO!
I really wish they bring the tuning back.
technics1911
Don't be sad, probabilu EA will get an solution to ALL bugs in the games. Be optimist! :)
If you want a good bit of that I would look at the crew it just has the United States but it looks like a great game
SGTGammahooch Yeah i'm excited to see how good the game will be! I signed up for the Beta, maybe i can play it soon.
I miss the days when you don't give a shit when if your car slams so hard against a wall
UNDERGROUND! was the most memorable and by far the best game...It revolutionized Racing games all together!
i dont like that they put out the tuning and the customization options
It was mostly jacky tuning if you ask me...
yeah but the customizing was amazing and they sadly put it out
Probably a marketing move to hold the tuning for a while to refresh the series and to boost the sales of a new game with it because the series is dying.
righttt.it has been said that a new nfs game will be out
Love Nordahl Not really. :)
11:35 OMG!!! ProStreet is laging
Need for Speed Underground 2, completed 3 times, literally the only game involving cars my early life ever needed.
My TOP
-MOST WANTED (2005)
-MOST WANTED (2005)
-MOST WANTED (2005)
My TOP
-MOST WANTED 2012
-HOT PURSUIT 2010
Retitle the video to Need for Speed: the rise and fall. Although the next one does look quite promising!
5:30 Can anybody please tell me what song it is?
Rivals is a really good start for a new underground 3 honestly. But its lacking in the tuning department.
are you kidding me, we need night racing in a city like area with highly modifiable cars and a variety of cars meaning slow tuners to mid tuners, to sports cars, muscle cars, luxury cars and super cars. Well kinda like Midnight Club to be honest lol
I don't think there's tuning because car manufactures don't want their cars to have unofficial parts on them, I'm not fully sure but is is most likely one of the reasons
Vaughan Gilligan True, but this is a game, and it would be more fun if it was with tuning, like Underground.
2005 most wanted is best end of story
Agreed.
All game after this are shit.
True man. Took me 2 months to pass that game
Brings me da chills... I still play it xD and how can someone forget that Mia girl?? haha
Carbon, has kinda a interesting story too
Most wanted 2005 best racing game of all time
6:40, CRY!
NFS the run , especially on extreme difficulty
It is easiest as fuck on Wii (LOL)
Its fantastic on xbox 360
Nice to see some Porsche 2000 / Unleashed fans out there. It is also my favourite NFS game, still to this day.
I have a soft spot for the PC version, mainly because of the much longer factory driver mode, the much more realistic control, and the superb track design (this game has, IMO, some of the greatest tracks ever created in a racing game).
That said, the PS1 version is worth trying out too, despite being completely different. It has some fun "single race" modes and a stellar soundtrack (love how the music style changes as you progress through the evolution mode), and it is much more arcade-oriented than the PC version.
i think that most wanted 2005 is the best nfs game until now. who agrees with me????????
I don't. I do think it's good but no. Not for me.
Ok man thats your opinoin and I respect it
I agree with you, friend. The plot in Most Wanted (2005) is very good for a racing game, it makes me want to seek revenge against Razor and The Blacklist, not to mention the nostalgia factor. Also love the orange-ish visuals of the game, the wild cop chases and the soundtrack. I miss that.
NFS undercover is the best storyline
Well most of people disagree with me but thats my opinion because it was the first nfs game I played and since I was amazed by it I figured out I would play every nfs game I could play
