Rom Di Prisco and few other artists made songs especially for the game and they are fast, adrenaline pumping, they just make you want to go faster and faster. For example Liquid Plasma, Road Warrior, and Callista for a car showcase in the menu. And finally gameplay and cars. One of the best supercars ever made, Supercars that are unique and don't need to be tuned, toys for real car enthusiasts, not people from Fast&Furious era. Differences in engine power, handling are very noticeable, none of the cars has stupid N2O. And this game is about RACING. Pure racing, no plot from the action movie, just you, your car and 7 other maniacs to beat in a race. Want pursuit mode? No problem it's there. EA made NFS: Hot Pursuit 2010 to reincarnate the old NFS days and they did pretty good job, but it lacks something. After half of my life spend in front of many racing games i can say that there is no game, that moved my heart so much that i want to complete again and again and again after all those years. NFS 4: High Stakes PC is just fantastic.

NFS II SE. My first racing game. I absolutely loved it! That was way back in preschool or kindergarten. Still my favorite. I had Porsche Unleashed on both PlayStation and PC and loved them both. The original Most Wanted was fantastic as well.

18:30 I once slid and frontally crashed (Didn't hurt myself, walked out, only the car wrecked) but that clip (18:30) looked so real and similar to my experience that it instantly took me back to it :O. The sound, the way the camera moves and blurs on impact and almost feeling the car deform trough the screen is insane. My speed was about half that though ;)

I dont know why people hate so much The Run. Black Box did an excellent game. The story is simple but it is good for a racing game, the handling feels good, the graphics are excellent, big car variety. The only big problem is that the game is too short. I miss so much Black Box :(
In my opinion, there are some NFS games that totally changed the series, such as the the very first Hot Pursuit, Underground, Most Wanted(2005/2010), Pro Street, Shift, and the latest, Need For Speed (2015). They were all great and yet, so much memorable. Thank you so much EA for making this franchise a great one, I hope you don't fuck it up like how you did with Medal Of Honor. :P
My first NFS game was Hot Pursuit 2... My second game was NFS Carbon... And my third game was Undercover.. Honestly it wasn't so bad.. I'm once again playing carbon because it was my all time favorite. I'm proud to even say that I started playing NFS at the age of 6

Carbon was the first game I played, plus I didnt know what video games were like... I played it everyday for like a month straight and never got bored. I LOVED Carbon! XD

But seeing one of them being on the phone caught me by surprise. But some of them don't look like I remember them. NFS Carbos: From the Wii NFS Carbon Own the City: From the NDS NFS Prostreet: From the NDS (looked better than Carbon OtC) NFS Nitro: From the NDS (looked crappy) NFS Most Wanted U is missing on the list though.
I really love Need for Speed games, its kind-of sad that Forza really took over. Don't get me wrong Forzas a great game title but everyone's forgetting about what Need for Speed did for the whole racing community. They really paved a way for racing games to make it big!
