From my 2days of playtime as Fl4k, all you need to do to 1shot bosses is a torque shotgun with the "double penetrating" prefix, a high +crit damage weapon and on Earl's shop you want to buy a anointed weapon that gives +125% damage to badass, named and boss enemies and this is how it works: during Fade away, spamm ur sticky shotgun shells on the boss, when Fade away ends you will get the dmg buff from the anointed gun, and finally just switch to the +crit damage weapon (personally im using the Deadeye Unforgiven that gives me +340 crit damage).
Have a similar build best weapon I have found is called the "Trick Unforgiven" it's a Jacobs pistol and rolled with +384% critical damage. Keen an eye out it deletes bosses in seconds
I mostly rely on an incendiary crossroads for boss runs, especially graveward. x4 projectile count, crit damage bonus, and has just enough magazine size (even after the nerf) to last all of fade away. But depending on the resistances and nerfs I get in Mayhem mode 3, it's between my Rowan's call, and a crossroads. I did manage to get a legendary class mod that I haven't been able to get another variant of that treats bosses like humans, robots, and creatures, so you get all three buffs from the hunter kill skill. Can't think of the name of it though.
I hesitate to post this because it will likely get nerfed if i do but honestly it's likely gonna happen anyway since so many people posting about other weapons, but one that i don't see used often and seems to be overlooked for flak builds are the torgue sticky shotguns as seen in the two videos here ruclips.net/video/33Bv1IOpE-c/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/GPrq9vlTU4M/видео.html the first one i started with a pistol so you can see the weapon swap and see the stats of the weapon
I play this build and have tried a loot of guns on a boss fight you don't need return ammo at all so the best gun to use is a fire Moor Linage it just destroys them.
Been farming bosses for the last few days with a very similar build. All thanks to a mod that gives +4 hunters eye and apply all three of its bonuses on all bosses. Not to mentioned the 3% hunter skills proc chance and the juicy 41% jacobs Crit damage bonus. The game has been very kind to me.
Messy break up shield from GenIVlV might be beneficial for more dmg output. The helper drone that fires occassionally might help but probably not noticeably.
So I just tested a fire element shreddifier rifle, doesnt return ammo but if you set it to double chain barrel it has 200 in the mag plus my relic adds 40% mag size. Drains him just as fast as the lyuda or the queens call. One gun I'm still farming for looking to try is a fire element conference call for graveward.
best grenade at the moment is the Porcelain Pipe Bomb that you get from the "Raiders of the Lost Rock" side mission on Eden 6. This thing is bugged at the moment and absolutely destroys bosses, especially someone like Gravewarden when he gets stunned.
I would say the re-router is a great legendary shield because it's an amp that boosts your damage at full shield at the cost of 50% of the shield, I'm at work rn so I don't know the exact damage boost but I'm pretty sure it was a 100% boost on the amp shot
its 120%, and while its not bad, its more for a sniper build then anything, as currently there are no flat sheild increases in game, and getting increased charge rate or decrease sheild capacity is a pain, with the sheild, you really want it to have as low as a capacity as possible, with a high regen (so level 50 still) and try and find something to increase charge, id say focus on charge rate more then delay, simple as theres the guardian rank perk where when you kill an enemy, you shields instantly start regenning, so having this would make it easy to keep it up, however, as kek-ass said, its rather useless in these fights, as it would only effect the first bullet, and so far theres no infinite stacking, so having the amp is useless on a single bullet
Insomnifur say that to conference call. I use that amp shot with conference call on my siren (it affects the first shot, not first bullet, meaning every shotgun pellet in the initial boost gets 120% more damage), and it melts :)
You should try this build with that jakobs pistol you get off a side quest not sure what its called but "after reloading you have a 50% chance to double damage" You could reload the pistol get the damage buff and never have to reload it
The torgue shotguns with the alternate sticky pellets are possible better for this build, as the secondary explosives crit the dps seems a lot higher than Jacobs shotguns
wagon wheel jakobs pistal is a beast of a weapon for this build when you crit it fires 6 more pellets that seem like they can crit too. its the most digusting gun i've tried so far.
Rowan's Call is a pretty good jacobs assault rifle. got it from the ratch legendary hunt on athena. super good for random mob spam. 577 dmg / 7.28s fire rate
this works way better with torgue shotguns. use the ones that have alot of pellets then switch it to sticky mode instead of impact. works alot better, like i use a green or blue shotty and it out performs everything. waiting till i get a good pink shotty
theres a shield i use, forgot the name, but i consider it mandatory, its the one where if broken, it gives 5 seconds of immortality, having this with some form of HP regen, makes it so you get full hp after 1s~ after it procs, keeping the bonus double damage up (helps AMAZINGLY if the "30% chance to reflect bullets" modifier is on, basically gives you 5 seconds to ignore it) grenade wise: the "its piss" grenade, gives +20% damage to any enemy hit by the greande for i think its 4 seconds? or 8? i dont know, its a world drop exclusive from what im aware, but regardless, itss pretty good for class mods, having a purple one with +2 / +3 in the chance to add 1 ammo to the clip helps a lot for certain guns, IE the dictator, its an legendary assault rifle which shoots 3 bullets per shot normally, and 7 when in bipod mode, it consumes 1 ammo per shot, and has around a 10 fire rate (damage is something around 350x3 at level 50) using this, most of the time, works better then the shotgun, the dictator can come in elements, but ive only had a normal one to use, so as of the moment, i use hells shotgun for when elemental damage is the modifier, or dictator when anything else - (ive achieved a 6 second kill on the graveward with the dictator, and a un-refined build, where i miss out on around 150% - > 200% extra damage relic wise is a bit more difficult, but having the relic which gives you 5 seconds of immortality when you hit 50% hp is also good, going for 40% magazine size, alongside damage + accuracy combinations is a good work around, so far for the legendary effect, i have not found any super useful,
I got a masher and they are crazy good weapons especially on a fade away Flakk. I don’t have many legendaries right now but got a good Jacob masher that melts enemies and does amazing on boss. Having a X5 Jacobs pistols is amazing and even though the accuracy is low the 5 bullets are extremely close together so I don’t know what accuracy does on the masher cause you would expect the bullets to be more spread out the lower the accuracy until the mashers are glitched and accuracy isn’t working right. Maybe the game treats them like normal Jacob pistols which tend to have high accuracy
i have queens call, it’s a easter egg kinda, it looks like thorn from destiny 2, it reloads like thorn, and it shoots things out of the bullet like thorn
The best possible gun with this build is a torgue sticky shotgun. I have the same skill tree build and play casual on mayhem 3 tvhm. The way torgue works is if the initial shot crits so will the explosion so you use your action skill fill any enemy with your unlimited shotgun rounds then action skill ends, reload win. I've yet to see a boss in mayhem 3 stay alive through 1 action skill.
This is exactly what I was gonna say. Get a torgue shotgun with an 18 pellet count and watch everything die in one action skill that doesnt have phases.
because normal legendaries themselves arent that good. you really only want to store legs with good rolls and the right anointed perks for different builds. not just every legendary you find.
@Viahlツ same here wanted to collect every legendary gun and i jave 2 characters full and my whole bank. Love looting games that dont give me enough space to be a collector of guns :)
I'm basically following the same build concept. I have Lick The Wounds though. As a solo player, it is a MUST HAVE!! I didn't know about the shotgun pellets each rolling to see if your bullets return to your magazine. That is awesome. Thanks for the tip! So far, I have said NO to the latest update. As a FL4K player, do you think it gives more than it takes away? (Most notably Fade Away time reduction and damage reduction, but more damage to most guns & big boost to sniper weapons). I'll say YES if its worth it
The lyuda is good with this build and i like the bitch because of its crit damage increase. lucians call is great for mobbing too if you dont wanna just kill bosses.
I would think more people would go for the capstone in the Orange tree that give you a % chance to crit anywhere on an enemy for when your not in fade away maybe cause I’m not really sure what the capstone on the green tree does. It increases damage when you activate ur action skill but what damage does it increase gun damage, crit damage, or does it only increase Rakk action skill damage or gamma burst damage. Gearbox could have made it more clear or maybe I’m just missing something
The best gun for this is The One Pump Chump. A shotgun dropped from a secret boss. It provides a one shot mag with a 50% not to consume ammo. Also rolls with 1100%-1200% wep damage. Thumbs this up so he can see. Ty
Personally i really love the shield The Transformer (but i dont know how well it actually scales etc. shield cap pr item lvl) Also for Grenades i founds this while farming The Rampager for a few lvls (this grenade called Epicenter, feels amazing to throw it and see the visual + if u can make the grenade land almost right under your target, all the lightning balls will hit the target, completely bursting the mob and in many cases one shotting the mobs with just 1 nade) but oh well im only lvl 28 right now and my nade is lvl 18 and my shield is 13 (somehow they're still relevant)

Torgue shottys are fun and I have used them to level up. But they make killing slower as you have to fire then wait, whereas this build, no matter what gun you use, you can just continuously fire.
My build I did through the game is very similar. I find if you are going for max damage during fade away try a amp shield as the bonus amp damage at the start on top of the crits is super powerful
The problem was i did mine with raks and cooldown as well but now i need to do more with fade away i dont even have it unlocked or even and crit skills unlocked can i reset my points without losing my lvl?
@@darthmaul2210 yes. If you respec your character you can redo your skill tree from scratch and replace your skill points. You do it from the character customizer.
A butcher is better in this build and the middle top blue skill is insane for overall damage compared to the rest of FD but still 9/10 build, queens call is a good choice for fl4k
The thing is if you dont go with this build flak just isnt that great his pets die rather quickly even with the whole Perk set up if your fighting enemies who are just as powerful as you your pet deals little damage and takes even less damage making it just a distraction really this gets worse on TVM with mayhem on

Have a similar build best weapon I have found is called the "Trick Unforgiven" it's a Jacobs pistol and rolled with +384% critical damage. Keen an eye out it deletes bosses in seconds
Alexander Byrne what?!!!
Its fire rate is quite slow for a jacobs it's only downfall
Bad timing, Torgue shotguns just got nerfed with the hot fix... Such bullshit, they've helped me so much at the lower levels
@@BlackWat3rGTR IF they did nerf it, not enough because it still works.
@@blackward1841 well thank God for that!
the Butcher is amazing im lvl 30 using a lvl 19 butcher still killing bosses no problem
love the butcher
I’ve heard the butcher works with this build because the butcher itself has a chance to return ammo to the magazine.
That and the Queen's Call
I got an ice queens call yesterday after beating the final boss only legendary it dropped lol
An *ice* Queen's Call
If no one has said it yet the Maggie shreds with this type of build.
It shreds even without the entire build with Fl4k. It's insane.
Can you send it to me? Ps4?
Nerfed.
I would say the re-router is a great legendary shield because it's an amp that boosts your damage at full shield at the cost of 50% of the shield, I'm at work rn so I don't know the exact damage boost but I'm pretty sure it was a 100% boost on the amp shot
its 120%, and while its not bad, its more for a sniper build then anything, as currently there are no flat sheild increases in game, and getting increased charge rate or decrease sheild capacity is a pain, with the sheild, you really want it to have as low as a capacity as possible, with a high regen (so level 50 still) and try and find something to increase charge, id say focus on charge rate more then delay, simple as theres the guardian rank perk where when you kill an enemy, you shields instantly start regenning, so having this would make it easy to keep it up,
however, as kek-ass said, its rather useless in these fights, as it would only effect the first bullet, and so far theres no infinite stacking, so having the amp is useless on a single bullet
Insomnifur say that to conference call. I use that amp shot with conference call on my siren (it affects the first shot, not first bullet, meaning every shotgun pellet in the initial boost gets 120% more damage), and it melts :)
You should try this build with that jakobs pistol you get off a side quest not sure what its called but
"after reloading you have a 50% chance to double damage"
You could reload the pistol get the damage buff and never have to reload it
The torgue shotguns with the alternate sticky pellets are possible better for this build, as the secondary explosives crit the dps seems a lot higher than Jacobs shotguns
Putting more points into the hunter skill tree makes the crit build work a lot better, I would suggest switching this build up.
wagon wheel jakobs pistal is a beast of a weapon for this build when you crit it fires 6 more pellets that seem like they can crit too. its the most digusting gun i've tried so far.
i'll try it out, found one with 1k+ damage earlier
Rowan's Call is a pretty good jacobs assault rifle. got it from the ratch legendary hunt on athena. super good for random mob spam. 577 dmg / 7.28s fire rate
Jexxe Plays i can not get it for some reason man LMFAO
Getting my siren to 50 today then starting a flak play through
this works way better with torgue shotguns. use the ones that have alot of pellets then switch it to sticky mode instead of impact. works alot better, like i use a green or blue shotty and it out performs everything. waiting till i get a good pink shotty
theres a shield i use, forgot the name, but i consider it mandatory, its the one where if broken, it gives 5 seconds of immortality, having this with some form of HP regen, makes it so you get full hp after 1s~ after it procs, keeping the bonus double damage up (helps AMAZINGLY if the "30% chance to reflect bullets" modifier is on, basically gives you 5 seconds to ignore it)
grenade wise: the "its piss" grenade, gives +20% damage to any enemy hit by the greande for i think its 4 seconds? or 8? i dont know, its a world drop exclusive from what im aware, but regardless, itss pretty good
for class mods, having a purple one with +2 / +3 in the chance to add 1 ammo to the clip helps a lot for certain guns, IE the dictator, its an legendary assault rifle which shoots 3 bullets per shot normally, and 7 when in bipod mode, it consumes 1 ammo per shot, and has around a 10 fire rate (damage is something around 350x3 at level 50) using this, most of the time, works better then the shotgun, the dictator can come in elements, but ive only had a normal one to use, so as of the moment, i use hells shotgun for when elemental damage is the modifier, or dictator when anything else - (ive achieved a 6 second kill on the graveward with the dictator, and a un-refined build, where i miss out on around 150% - > 200% extra damage
relic wise is a bit more difficult, but having the relic which gives you 5 seconds of immortality when you hit 50% hp is also good, going for 40% magazine size, alongside damage + accuracy combinations is a good work around, so far for the legendary effect, i have not found any super useful,
That’s a relic for invulnerability. Not immortality.
I managed to pick up a radioactive Flakker which when in fade away, melts enemy health, bosses and enemies alike it’s OP
i have queens call, it’s a easter egg kinda, it looks like thorn from destiny 2, it reloads like thorn, and it shoots things out of the bullet like thorn
their is also kings call, it doesn’t not have the same reload
The best possible gun with this build is a torgue sticky shotgun. I have the same skill tree build and play casual on mayhem 3 tvhm. The way torgue works is if the initial shot crits so will the explosion so you use your action skill fill any enemy with your unlimited shotgun rounds then action skill ends, reload win. I've yet to see a boss in mayhem 3 stay alive through 1 action skill.
This is exactly what I was gonna say. Get a torgue shotgun with an 18 pellet count and watch everything die in one action skill that doesnt have phases.
Grenade called its piss. Makes enemies hit take 20% extra dmg for 6sec.
Drops from Sloth on your way to Tannis’s second lab. Sloth doesn’t spawn every time you run through
Spec:ing into Persistence Hunter is really worth for the extra Gun Damage and 4 extra seconds of Fade Away
The issue is what would he spec out of!
why do they make 50 bank slots but like 100 legendaries...
because normal legendaries themselves arent that good. you really only want to store legs with good rolls and the right anointed perks for different builds. not just every legendary you find.
@KEK-ASS how do you request a bank character?
@Viahlツ same here wanted to collect every legendary gun and i jave 2 characters full and my whole bank. Love looting games that dont give me enough space to be a collector of guns :)
You can get a relic that buffs by nearly 200% based upon what element you're suffering
I've been using Rowna's call and it's been flying through bosses.
Rees Matzner rowans call fire with annointed 👍🔥🔥
@@tydegaming9627 ohhhhh that would be dirty!!!
I'll say YES if its worth it
Any Atlas Rocket is this build’s best friend. lock on rockets + Fade away = infinite explosions
For Moze, I've found that MIRV Hex is pretty OP.
I'm using a Level 21 MIRV Hex on a Level 45 Moze, and it still works. It's absolutely insane
Same, I found a torgue granade for my Fl4k it melts bosses when the granade splits. It op I mean...Jeez.
“Don’t really use nades”
*Laughs in pipebomb*
Tyman not anymore 💀
*laughs in nerf*
The lyuda is good with this build and i like the bitch because of its crit damage increase. lucians call is great for mobbing too if you dont wanna just kill bosses.
are you going to post an updated build video when you do find a perfect one?
I tend to use rowans call a jakobs ar you can hold the trigger to fire unlike most jakobs it has the crits return 2 ammo
Highly recommend the porcelain pipe bomb as your grenade mod, it’s sorta just, broken.
Only a rare but will up your dps by about a million.
Patched later today
I would think more people would go for the capstone in the Orange tree that give you a % chance to crit anywhere on an enemy for when your not in fade away maybe cause I’m not really sure what the capstone on the green tree does. It increases damage when you activate ur action skill but what damage does it increase gun damage, crit damage, or does it only increase Rakk action skill damage or gamma burst damage. Gearbox could have made it more clear or maybe I’m just missing something
I haven't seen anything on the Vanguard Re-charger but that is a really awesome legendary shield.
The best gun for this is The One Pump Chump. A shotgun dropped from a secret boss. It provides a one shot mag with a 50% not to consume ammo. Also rolls with 1100%-1200% wep damage. Thumbs this up so he can see. Ty
the DOOM shotgun is way more OP since you can literally shoot like 5x faster than it
@@iderptm9639 i agree!
@@iderptm9639 where to get the doom shotgun?
jordan brookes no clue, I normally just get mine from Loot Tink or the chewpakabratch
@@iderptm9639 thank you
Grim harvest affects action skill by boosting gun dmg and fade away crit dmg
Personally i really love the shield The Transformer (but i dont know how well it actually scales etc. shield cap pr item lvl)
Also for Grenades i founds this while farming The Rampager for a few lvls (this grenade called Epicenter, feels amazing to throw it and see the visual + if u can make the grenade land almost right under your target, all the lightning balls will hit the target, completely bursting the mob and in many cases one shotting the mobs with just 1 nade)
but oh well im only lvl 28 right now and my nade is lvl 18 and my shield is 13 (somehow they're still relevant)
it's amazing, mid-tier one at lvl 50 has 11k capacity
Get the grenade pipe bomb you get it from a side quest on Eden 6 just the Grenade takes a 3rd health bar off the final boss
Just got it, pairs great with Lyuna as yo ucan chuck nades while shooting.
Grenades get the porcelain pipe bomb it is blue rarity and broken atm.
Lol
KEK-ASS bruh everyone knows about it, if they didn’t nerf it i would be questioning their staff
I one action phase the tree vault boss on mayham 3 with a blue multi pellet sticky shot gun.
@@flagro770 they did indeed but I still one action phase it with the sticky shotgun or the butcher shotgun.
You should leave a link to borderlands 3 skill tree filled out with this build too as it's much easier to browse through than the youtube video.
Lucians call is a good assault rifle for this crit build try it out.
Best relic in the game is any with 100% slide speed, mix that with fade away and you're clearing a map in seconds
pretty much, it's really insane to be honest.
If you are looking for the legendary mod with extra bullet chance. I've had two drop from Groveward Vault boss on eden-6
@KEK-ASS not sure about +5 but i have a +4
dude your fucking videos are hella informative and helpful I really appreciate the information and the help if this build works even half as good I'll be chillin. earned a sub man hope to see more from u
A Butcher Hyperion shotgun is also great, though Hellwalker is for sure the strongest option.
@KEK-ASS one pump chump**
Find and use the Butcher. I did this set up before watching this video, thanks for the tips.
I run the exact same skin set up 😂 man of culture I see
TheProglitching haha I run literally the EXACT same 😂 guess it just looks the best
How do y'all get the mask?

@@ag-scorpion7962 if I'm not mistaking it's beat the campaign or you get it from the first vault monster when I get home I'll tell you the name of it if you want
the best shield that I have found is The loop of 4n631 which is a shield that reduces action skill cooldown removing the need for skills that do so
Where did you get that? Sounds like it could be good for a moze mech build
@@dralkk358 From a side quest about angel you get the quest from vaughn. also it reduces cooldown while depleted.
one pump chump is pretty good with fl4k
Hopefully they patch FL4K's pets to scale with TVHM and Mayhem Modes. They're useless after Normal playthrough and Health skills are pointless for FL4K until then.
Torgue shotguns with sticky melts bosses when fadeawah is used.
Yes sticky is great, and pretty easy to find as well. I think hellwalker is better, but that's still great!
@@NickTew Only downside is that you have to spec into Megavore in the Hunter skill tree. Megavore is okay, but having to spec into it takes away from other nice to have skills.
Torgue shottys are fun and I have used them to level up. But they make killing slower as you have to fire then wait, whereas this build, no matter what gun you use, you can just continuously fire.
@@Fuzbo_ you dont have to spec in to megavore
Torgue shotguns are 100% faster for farming bosses
My build I did through the game is very similar. I find if you are going for max damage during fade away try a amp shield as the bonus amp damage at the start on top of the crits is super powerful
I am trying out a build could u dm me somewhere bout to how to do a bukdl like yours? I wanna kill bosses
@@darthmaul2210 pretty much the same as the one in this video. Just with more stuff around action skill cooldown
Can i do it as many times as possible ?
Try using a Rowan’s call. It’s not my go to weapon for the build but it’s pretty good for clearing an area
Why didn’t you get persistence hunter for extra time in the fade away!
Grenades for normal enemies would be the Quasar and Storm Front.
Which builds do you guys prefer? This build or the endgame and leveling build?
A butcher is better in this build and the middle top blue skill is insane for overall damage compared to the rest of FD but still 9/10 build, queens call is a good choice for fl4k
Gyrojet shotguns are more broken you in theory stack them infinitely and then reload and have like 10 or more secs of continuous explosion
Yes I just think they're ultimately slower than just killing the boss during your action phase with lyuda or Kings call
the game isnt expecting u to stack crits over and over yet it is literally in fl4ks build and abilities.......
The thing is if you dont go with this build flak just isnt that great his pets die rather quickly even with the whole
Perk set up if your fighting enemies who are just as powerful as you your pet deals little damage and takes even less damage making it just a distraction really this gets worse on TVM with mayhem on
@@Davidmorales597r Well, at least you got this build. These bosses take ages with Amara even when specced for solo.
This helped a ton. Thanks!!
If you don't have Lucian call use Shredifier u get it from Graveward
Lucian Call also drops from Graveward
Kings call is good since it got fire elemental dmg on it
Swap 1 point in Interplanetary Stalker and put it into The Most Dangerous Game and you then have the best FL4K build in the game. Literally, i've done the math, there is no stronger damage modification build than this.
If you're fighting a boss with no badasses as the filler enemies, how would you benefit from that perk?
@@RKO6192 You kill tons of Badasses though most encounters/Story/Proving Grounds/Circle of slaughter, and with the talent that increases Hunter Skills you have this buff up for 4 minutes.
@@matthewforrester7804 Ohhhh okay, so you get the buff on the way to the boss fight
@@RKO6192 You could yeah. But also remember that interplanetary stalker requires the same action to active i.e kill an enemy so both most likely wouldn't be active for boss fights
Ill try this
