Hey do you think Persistence Hunter would be any good for a build like this since it adds 45% skill duration when maxed out? As well as an overall boost to gun damage but my focus was more towards duration, I think it brings it up to almost 22 (21.75 I believe) seconds of fade away up from 15. I suppose it almost doesn't matter because of the near instant Regen of Fade Away thanks to the Head Count+Megavore combo, yet I was wondering if more time spent in fade away would boost dps at the cost of a couple skills not being maxed out such as another gun damage skill which could not contribute as much damage as maxed out Persistance Hunter does overall without reloading or killing an enemy, or one of the survivability skills at the risk of being downed easier. That's just my thoughts since I have Pers. Hunter fully purchased with maxed out Stalker tree, I will be reinvesting pints into Hunter tree for skill regen when I get back home to test but all in all I was just wondering what your thoughts were on a longer Fade Away duration and a solid, no prerequisite gun damage increase at the cost of one or two skills?
Mr. green caveman probably because of anoints, weapon buffs, new weapons etc. That has nothing to do with base character dps. If his base fade-away was as strong as it was back then he would be doing even more damage than he currently does, But I do agree that his other action skills work better now.
But @The Blu Wall,when you have filled out Leave no trace,you have %32 chance to not take a bullet.When you add a class mod with 3 or more LNT,you have %64 or higher chance to not consumed.So its fine.
The flood works really well too. I’ve been using nuclear infinity for farming and flood for bosses and bad asses. Also, seriously consider adding 2 points in the blue tree to extend the length of fade away it’s a pretty big difference, u can probably get 50 more shots off depending on the gun ur using.
If you were to fully throw away all of the regen based skills you could add another 25-50% total damage boost to the build as well as more bonus crit damage. Just thought I’d mention it

FINALLY someone posts a video with this mod, i found one at lvl 14 with the +3 to leave no trace and it carried me to the endgame, i havent changed it since and i havent found once better since
This is far from the max DPS you can get from Fl4k. You're trading points in Furious Attack for health regen when you can just go Otto Idol and Tran-Fusion if you struggle to keep health up, and capping the Stalker tree gives you a 50% damage bonus for Fade Cloak. You're also missing Fast and Furryous and Hidden Machine, which give a further 55% gun damage increase during Fade Cloak. You do far more DPS by going 15 points in to Hunter for Two F4ng and investing in Master for Persistence Hunter to get your cloak around 11-12 seconds, and 2 points in Frenzy which stacks incredibly fast with the AR Jabber for a free 16% damage increase. Other than that the items seem good, anything high attackspeed with crit bonus is pretty nice along with stuff like Mashers and the Lyuda. Though I think Fl4k struggles to feasibly use snipers outside boss fights because he lacks ammo perks.
with good aim or even just really good luck you can use snipers feasibly. You might run low and have to switch weapons or buy/loot ammo but at mayhem 3 only using one class of weapon isnt feasible either. With the masher or lyuda even if only one pellet crits thats a good chance to get that ammo back, but most of the time you will hit multiple pellets and thus get an increased chance to "regain" a bullet back into your mag.
My favorite weapon in borderlands 3 is the hellwalker. It does 250,000+ damage (in actuality it does 2 Million damage, for my build) and 100,000 fire damage. I got it from mayhem lvl 11. I got it from "The holy Dumptruck" from the droughts in Pandora. I call it: "Satan's Shotgun".
I use a similar build to this with the hellwalker shotgun with more emphasis on the health regen and survivability and it works really good for the whole game
Really nice build. One thing I would add is if you are looking for even more damage there is a grenade called It’s P*ss that drops from a special enemy while going to Tannis’s special lab. Any enemy that is damaged by it takes 20% more damage for 6 seconds. I know this build still does crazy damage but just something to look out for incase you need even more. Edit: The guy doesn’t always spawn and is called Sloth. The grenade also removes any status effects on you if you hit yourself with the grenade. Just thought you would like know Incase you didn’t already :)
Invincible Not really, being the game is so early in and since the mob doesn’t always spawn every run through, chances are many people don’t even know the grenade the exists. But look up bl3 It’s P*ss grenade and you should find one or two
Imo opinion you should spec 3 points into the first level middle skill in the blue tree to extend your fade away time and this build would be even better
Amazing Grace also works: Every time you crit, a bullet gets added to the mag, AND it still has the ricochet effect as it's Jakobs. I also capped Stalker instead of Hunter as I like consistent damage instead of a chance at increased damage.
Will Endowed I tested it with the hail and it’s not good at all. The projectiles don’t move fast enough so you only get maybe 1 clips worth off before the action skill wears off.
@@thelordbroly3563 You may have merely tested it, but I PLAYED with it, and continue to do so. You can actually get two full clips with the right Faded build (especially if you aim for the neck), but I also have my Hail following my Crit, so I can keep the pain train going when the the Crit gets "wet".

Obviously, you're going to want to use the gun that shoots straight, but no, you directly assumed, even after I corrected you, that I was only talking about the Hail, and that's on you.
I currently am running a build on Moze that does the same thing with any torgue gun, but you don't need critical hits, cause technically, when sticking an enemy, it counts as splash damage. So the skill that has a chance to give you ammo or grenades when you deal splash damage is really helpful with a torgue weapon.

Everything becomes the One Pump pretty much. Honestly Butcher, Flakker, or Hellwalker are good alternatives as far as legendaries go. Though purple Torgues are still insane if decently rolled.
Pizza Pan Yeah I’d think that too man but the thing is, the One Pump Chump has that special 50% chance to not consume ammo. If that doesn’t activate then you’re not gonna be able to spam. Cause if it does consume that bullet, then you’re already in the reload animation before your bullet hits the enemy and gets that crit. I was pretty sad once I realized that because that’s like one of my top three weapons...
@@kingtuIip of course trial and error would be a thing but with bosses like a graveward you have that amount of time to relad and try again with those HUGE crit spots y'know?
If your Torgue popcorn shotgun isn't good enough for bosses post patch then you can switch to an Unforgiven to give the explosions upwards of 300% critical hit damage. Anything with high crit damage works but I don't know of any that can be higher than an Unforgiven.
If you want more survivability, try using a king's call / queen's call since it heals you when you crit (if you running low on health, you pop fade away and spam the queen's/king's call and you'll get back up in no time). Also, I would put 2/3 points into the blue skill that makes fade away longer (can't remember the name of the skill) instead of eager to impress (head count is much more effective anyway) and furious attack.

I recommend using lucians call for flak's crit action skill.on crit it sends off two critical bullets to the nearest enemies, and returns two bullets to your chamber. I was able to complete the entirety of slaughterstar 3000 without reloading once.
I would say the king's call or queen's call pistol is the best for fl4k as it ricochets and gives you bullets back so you can spam it infinity while you are invisible providing a lot of damage and such
farming the Queens call and Kings call pistols from the final boss is perfect and what I use here, the guns gain back the ammo on Crits and Crits give you more bullets that break off and seek out enemies, they also come in every element, even with all the M3 effects going against my build I kill the final boss before she can leave the platform takes about 1 or 2 minutes each run
The extra time in fade away messes with the togue shotgun, the gyro jets will pop before you're out so you won't get the cooldown on you action skill back
Farm chupacabratch Mayhem 2 if you're looking far a quick world drop farm. Also Lyuda is given by zero when you complete all the targets of opportunity challenges. Best wait till lvl 50 to do them all.
i would also recommend the rowans call since it ricochets bullets and send bullets back to the mag ontop of the leave no trace perk. it also fires pretty fast

Plus that class mod you suggested gives better stats in the skill tree overall. Plus, I believe the chance to get ammo back also counts per pellet, so anything that has 5+ projectiles, you're never running out regardless. And if you get unlucky, it's not very time consuming to reload either. I really hope joltz sees this.
Another shield that’s good to use is the transformer, with 40% bullet absorption and a pretty high shield capacity, it’s real good, not to mention the shock immunity, which is standard stuff
When you hit enough crits in his ability before it ends to reset the cooldown fully it will get set on cooldown as soon as the ability end Anyone else or just me?
The cooldown starts after the ability ends so crits before that don't give cdr. HOWEVER if you use torgue weapons gyro jets, you can stick missiles during fade away and detonate them after fade away ends. This way the missile *explosions* are still all 100% critical hits and instantly refresh your cooldown.
You're probably struggling with survivability because your artifact removes 75%HP. Your health regen isn't going to help much of you have so little health the enemy can burst through. I found a shield that automatically recharges to full after depleting (with a cool down) and honestly i only go down to reflected bullet damage or badass with rocket launchers
The recharger is very strong. I prefer the transformer, but I use the artifact joltz is for boss fights, and I switch to one that gives me 18% of max health when I get a kill for mobbing
I personally rate the Re-charger above the Stop Gap as well. Having your shields instantly refresh on a 20s cooldown is more useful than 5s of invulnerability when your shields still need to recharge.
voigto I keep a crying and radiation recurring hex grenade on me for mobbing. It lets me freeze or irradiate every mob in an area. I have a generator Tran-fusion tracker in crit for healing, because it heals 120% health and 30% shield
I made a build that was just, amazing healing, like, the healing rift, healing is shared with your pet x2, and kills increase duration of rift, so your pet does more damage, constantly gets healed, you can stay anywhere and most likely wont die, and with that, the rift stays longer
I have a X21 Jacobs Stagecoach, it’s the most broken gun in the game it doesn’t matter what mayhem mode your on or the modifiers you just destroy absolutely everything especially if you’re already maxed out the first guardian tree.

If you want high crowd damage with Fl4k use a Rowans Call with fade away, that shit's pretty nuts, and for boss damage use Queens Call or Kings Call to melt em.
@@PaladinSalt Crit build is still the best, since Rakks don't scale well in end game and pets are tissue paper. Just pick up a Crossroads SMG and you should still melt bosses.
they'll probably adjust leave no trace and torgue weaponry with that old divide by pellet count treatment they gave to amp in BL2. That's probably not as intended. No idea if they'll start nerfing. But they might

Why dont you put 5/5 for furious attack its 20% extra gun damage at 10 stacks which is literally always.

They sadly destroyed the kings/queens call. They got a whopping 70% fire rate nerf AND Jakobs pistols as a whole got a 15% damage nerf :(

Cause if it does consume that bullet, then you’re already in the reload animation before your bullet hits the enemy and gets that crit. I was pretty sad once I realized that because that’s like one of my top three weapons...
@@kingtuIip of course trial and error would be a thing but with bosses like a graveward you have that amount of time to relad and try again with those HUGE crit spots y'know?
If your Torgue popcorn shotgun isn't good enough for bosses post patch then you can switch to an Unforgiven to give the explosions upwards of 300% critical hit damage. Anything with high crit damage works but I don't know of any that can be higher than an Unforgiven.
If you want more survivability, try using a king's call / queen's call since it heals you when you crit (if you running low on health, you pop fade away and spam the queen's/king's call and you'll get back up in no time). Also, I would put 2/3 points into the blue skill that makes fade away longer (can't remember the name of the skill) instead of eager to impress (head count is much more effective anyway) and furious attack.
the Queen's call works well for this build as well
Queens call for bosses, rowans call for mowing down grunts
Rowans call works way better especially on Mayhem 3 UVHM. Queens call gonna get you kill.
Logan Rowan’s works mostly just for ads, Queen/kings call is faaaaaar superior in boss dps

On console I’m pretty sure there’s a pellet limit so you can’t shoot that many sticky shots. But when you find that sweet spot it’s amazing

I recommend using lucians call for flak's crit action skill.on crit it sends off two critical bullets to the nearest enemies, and returns two bullets to your chamber. I was able to complete the entirety of slaughterstar 3000 without reloading once.
I found a relic that does the same thing as your shield but with 50% health it would be a really cool addition to this build
I prefer the kings call. But I love this build.

Looks like it, the gyro is only 4% you could have quite a bit higher before the nerf. I still have a 2x6k damage rocket launcher with 75% gyros
this is post nerf. when you look at his bangstick it only has 4% gyrojet dmg
gyros are still good or if not some off the best thing in the game, pretty fair nerf in my opinion they were horribly op

I would say the king's call or queen's call pistol is the best for fl4k as it ricochets and gives you bullets back so you can spam it infinity while you are invisible providing a lot of damage and such
farming the Queens call and Kings call pistols from the final boss is perfect and what I use here, the guns gain back the ammo on Crits and Crits give you more bullets that break off and seek out enemies, they also come in every element, even with all the M3 effects going against my build I kill the final boss before she can leave the platform takes about 1 or 2 minutes each run
Should definitely invest 3 points into Persistence Hunter to get 45% more time in fade away
The extra time in fade away messes with the togue shotgun, the gyro jets will pop before you're out so you won't get the cooldown on you action skill back

Swap out that class mod for the bounty hunter mod, activates kill skills on gun damage so it wipes bosses off the map
Plus that class mod you suggested gives better stats in the skill tree overall. Plus, I believe the chance to get ammo back also counts per pellet, so anything that has 5+ projectiles, you're never running out regardless. And if you get unlucky, it's not very time consuming to reload either. I really hope joltz sees this.

Jeffrey Hodes It is a great skill for mobbing but for bosses you really don’t need the extra 4 seconds. You can get much for for a 3 point investment.

Another shield that’s good to use is the transformer, with 40% bullet absorption and a pretty high shield capacity, it’s real good, not to mention the shock immunity, which is standard stuff
It seems like using 5 skill points for faster reload is a waste if you rarely have to reload

When you hit enough crits in his ability before it ends to reset the cooldown fully it will get set on cooldown as soon as the ability end

The cooldown starts after the ability ends so crits before that don't give cdr. HOWEVER if you use torgue weapons gyro jets, you can stick missiles during fade away and detonate them after fade away ends. This way the missile *explosions* are still all 100% critical hits and instantly refresh your cooldown.
I prefer this build over any other fl4k build any day, it may not be as fast at killing bossess but it's still insane.

You're probably struggling with survivability because your artifact removes 75%HP. Your health regen isn't going to help much of you have so little health the enemy can burst through.
I found a shield that automatically recharges to full after depleting (with a cool down) and honestly i only go down to reflected bullet damage or badass with rocket launchers
The recharger is very strong. I prefer the transformer, but I use the artifact joltz is for boss fights, and I switch to one that gives me 18% of max health when I get a kill for mobbing
I personally rate the Re-charger above the Stop Gap as well. Having your shields instantly refresh on a 20s cooldown is more useful than 5s of invulnerability when your shields still need to recharge.
@@Jacobzab Using the Storm Call grenade + Transformer + Otto Idol is usually enough to keep you capped on HP for The Power Inside bonus.
voigto I keep a crying and radiation recurring hex grenade on me for mobbing. It lets me freeze or irradiate every mob in an area. I have a generator Tran-fusion tracker in crit for healing, because it heals 120% health and 30% shield

I like having a shredifier in the 4th so that if you need to refresh your skill you can get it back quick with alot of crit hits
I made a build that was just, amazing healing, like, the healing rift, healing is shared with your pet x2, and kills increase duration of rift, so your pet does more damage, constantly gets healed, you can stay anywhere and most likely wont die, and with that, the rift stays longer

Depends on what youre doing....if youre doing regular gameplay Kings/Queens Call loses edge bc you wont have Fade Away as a crutch.

I have a X21 Jacobs Stagecoach, it’s the most broken gun in the game it doesn’t matter what mayhem mode your on or the modifiers you just destroy absolutely everything especially if you’re already maxed out the first guardian tree.

You should keep both of them still. There is no other build that would be better than flaks at the moment.

If you want high crowd damage with Fl4k use a Rowans Call with fade away, that shit's pretty nuts, and for boss damage use Queens Call or Kings Call to melt em.

@@PaladinSalt Crit build is still the best, since Rakks don't scale well in end game and pets are tissue paper. Just pick up a Crossroads SMG and you should still melt bosses.
