Prada L'Homme Review + 5 Giveaway Prizes
This is my Prada L'Homme Review. It was about time that Prada came out with a new men's release and this time we have Prada L'Homme. Great new bottle, classy like Prada's clothing and accessories and a scent that's very recognizable and immediately you'll realize that it has similarities to Dior Homme or even Valentino Uomo. In fact it's like a cross between both Dior Homme and Valentino Uomo. So those of you that own this you'll immediately realize that it's an unoriginal release and one that is unnecessary. I agree with this but being such a fan of the Dior Homme line of fragrances I love finding flankers or similar style fragrances.
What makes Prada L'Homme unique is the addition of neroli and amber in the notes. The neroli gives that Dior Homme fragrance the added citrus, floral note and the amber as well gives it a bit more depth.
I wish that Prada came out with a truly unique and original fragrance but I'm fine with this release just not too excited. Unlike the recent disaster that is Versace Dylan Blue I like Prada L'Homme and will keep it to continue wearing. The only thing I forgot to mention in the video is that both Prada and Valentino fragrances are distributed by Puig and since this reminds me of Valentino Uomo I wonder why release it? But in the end both Valentino and Prada are different brands which I guess makes it okay to do a redundant release like this.

I find Prada L'homme and Dior Homme to be completely different. Yes, they both have iris, but to my nose, the comparison ends there. The former is a crisp, clean, newly washed linen feel; the latter an elegant cocoa, leathery sense. Very, very different in my view.
Nice! I had no idea this one was being released...I'll have to check it out, for sure. Enjoyed hearing your take on this fragrance, as always!

Great review Sebastian! I've been looking forward to sampling this one based on the comparisons to Dior Homme. DH is one of my all-time favorite fragrances; I fall in love again every time I wear it. I'm curious to see how Prada's neroli/iris compares to DH's iris/leather and whether it's distinguished enough to warrant a pickup. As for occasion, I'd be mainly looking at work/office for this one. I love Prada fragrances and would love to try this one. My favorites are Amber pour homme and Luna Rossa. From Texas.
Great video, Have to try this... I tell you tho.. I had a sample of valentino Uomo.. Maybe i got something else? I don't get what people are talking about.. Uomo was extremely sweet almost like a gourmand, and I didn't really smell iris.
I do not own Dior Homme , but I own Valentino Uomo , because I like it more. I love Valentinos opening , sweet hazelnut / powder , yummy. Would love to try Prada L'Homme to see if it has a better opening and overall performance.

Great video! Brooklyn, NY. Do not own DH, but I do however own DHI. I love DHI because of the Iris and cocoa note in the dry down. Hopefully this will be enough to win a sample 😀. Have a great day

Wowww! I was wondering why the performance was so tricky on my skin. I would get showered and dressed, spray this frag all over and it would last only 3 hours max but when I first sampled it on my skin in Bloomingdales , which had been in the middle of the day, it would last about 6-7 hours. That's so odd! I don't particularly like that ...but I love the scent so much that I'll be purchasing it anyway.

L'homme reminds me of Dior Homme and HM by Hanae Mori together. It's that playful combination of citrus and Iris with a little gourmandish drydown. I don't own this but I think it's a great release by Prada.

I get alot of compliments wearing this one. A guy even stopped the elevator just to ask what I was wearing coz I smell really good. Its kinda expensive here though along with guerlain fragrance. Prada lhomme works really good in the office or cooler weather and it lasts longer when I wear it in the office. Can you also make a video of whats the best fragrance to wear in high heat or in the beach? I really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks
I love neroli and Iris notes. I love the smell dior cologne. everytime I wear it , I get compliments.

Seems like a lot of new fragrance are '' Piggie Backing '' off of DHT, and DH. I purchased Valentino Oumo Intense and it smells just like DHT. When you a chance sample VOI, and tell me your opinion. Like your reviews.
Very good quality compared to other designer fragrances, whether or not you like the smell.

strangely...i got an odd 'wintergreen" note after about a half hr..whic lasted until the drydown..dont know why...after that i really appreciated the dry down till the end...i also liked the soft projection..for work.....it does seem to last but only in whiffs.....i still like it very much..its simple. I Love DH very much...but i do think this one is great for warmer weather whereas DH is best in my opinion in fall/winter/early spring here in NY....thanks for the review...Bob

I love the scent of Dior Homme, but (with the current formulation) get such bad performance that I don't consider it worth the price, hoping that Prada l'Homme will make a good substitute! Ohio.

I've sampled this recently I really love most of Prada's colognes. I find it is pretty much a skin scent after a couple of hours. I would take Prada Amber any day of the week over this release. It's pretty much "blah" to me - it smells pleasant but nothing very unique. I love Dior Homme but not really smelling any similarity.
I live in Oregon and love Dior Homme. Again I don't smell much of a similarity but maybe I need another sample to make sure!
Please review Zara 9.0 and compare it to this and Dior.

i dont agree what you say about Prada l'hpomme smells like dior homme/valentino uomo ... maybe people say that because of the vibe of iris but its dont smell like it ...at all in IMO.
I get lot of Iris for the first 10-15 min, i get like a soapyness about it, with neroli on the top and when dries down i got more of black pepper and geranium comes in .
So for me the dries down is a mix of Iris, cedar and lot of amber and a bit of geranium...and its really a nice frgarance....but it just my opinion.

They are certainly in the same family to me they smell similar but to some they could be distant relatives! :)
@@ThePerfumeGuy Or maybe it's a quality control problem Prada has with their product. I find it hard to believe what is the connection between Uomo and this. I also think Prada is the most average fragrance on the market given the price. Maybe the blend I have is simply different because few people seem to hate it and then you have a good majority who seem totally in love with it. But I am not joking, when I received my sample, on the back of my mind, I was thinking it might be a cheap counterfeit. Minimalistic, basic and linear scent. Valentino Uomo is on a whole different planet than this.

Nothing will compare to that 1950’s lipstick on a tissue at the bottom of a purse smell that Dior Homme has. But, that said, Prada is always pushing the envelope, and there’s no exception here. To me, it has a warm cashmere scarf fragrance to it. A vanilla latte, if you will, mixed with buttercream. It’s nice, but not a powerhouse. I believe made for a sophisticate type of man. One who drives a leather interior car. Or, maybe he is “driven” instead. Nonetheless, it’s a great basic, upscale frag. I enjoy a good Prada now and again.

As Il always say when you love a designer, its worth looking into it. I m trying to look into the soapy nuances as that is something new to me in fragrances. I have Prada Amber Intense and is something that I can understand its beauty, but now I just wanna find out more whst else is out there. I think there's no need to say this is unoriginal. It's inspired by a modern-classic cologne for men. Dior Homme itself is different from every men's fragrances out there. Unoriginal is basically cloning an existing one, like CDNIM for Aventus, and a sea of Dior Sauvage clones.
Whys that negativity towards dylan blue...it introduced me to the frag world and it was love at first sniff

Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews I own both. Matter of fact after watching your video irie sprayed them both and I still don't get it. Prada is more fresher, wearable, wit a luxury touch ... Maybe slight similarities with Dior but it's not like a clone or anything...

Nordstom takes them back because I knew someone and I've been a good customer. If you know people they will take it back but if it's a one-off and you've never shopped there usually not. Macy's on the other hand doesn't.

I'd like to try this one. I use the Valentino Uomo and I like it a lot. I'm not usually a fan of Prada fragrances. Sounds like this one is impressive. I'm in Pennsylvania... @Dr_Smell_Good on ig. ✌
