@@nirwanaeathell Not really. Versace has great products but Pour Homme isn't one. If you said Dylan Blue it would be a lot closer. And Chanel is a luxury brand, obviously it's products are a bit higher priced than the majority.

@@nirwanaeathell I've had Versace pour homme for years and I just replaced it recently with CAHSEE. It last 2 times longer, projects about the same(which is to say, not that well) but smells much less synthetic. Same goes for the EDT(CAHS)
Man In Black just came in the mail today! Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Intense is also a fantastic incense-ey scent and you can get it for real cheap.

Demi Rawling "rive gauche" is a legend fragrance and very old and many reviewers spoke about it so it's not under the radar no my dear lots of men in the community speaking about it 😏and this is the old bottle as far as I know they changed it 😭😢 I think max forti is the one who always speaks about it.

Man in black, my wife secretly fell in love to me because of this fragrance even when we haven't known each other.
If I had to pick just one from this list, it would be Chanel Allure Homme Sport Extreme. That stuff is amazing. Probably the safest blind buy you could possibly make IMO. I will put it in the words of Jeremy Fragrance: "Chanel Allure Homme Sport Extreme is my Usain Bolt of compliments fastest man alive." That's a bold claim that I 100% agree with. Jeremy was the reason I bought this fragrance, and it's the best fragrance I have ever came across.
I've been using Chanel Allure Sport Extreme for the past 10 years.. I have had a lot of others very good ones too, but always have this one in my collection! Absolutely Love it..
Demi. I bought Chanel Homme Sport Eau extreme on a large part because of the way you smiled when you smelled this fragrance. It is one of six scents in my current rotation, and when i wear it I CAN'T STOP TRYING TO SMELL MYSELF! it's just an AWESOME dry down. SO good. the most pleasing, creamy sillage ever!

I was really disappointed after I sprayed it on my skin. After 10 minutes it smells similar to jean Paul Gaultier le male. Then I compared both and i swear, both are nearly identical. Jean Paul was quite a bit sweeter but In the end they smelled the same.

Just received my Guerlain Heritage EDT today after waiting for 18 days for it to arrive all the way from Hong Kong!....and boy it is worth the wait! Blind bought it because of your video, Demi. I would say this : If James Bond was to wear a scent, just one scent, it would be this. ❤
You definitely know your scents Demi to put Heritage as #1. I have the vintage version from 2000. It's definitely a gentleman and manly scent. It's my Goto for the Fall and in my top 5 of all time. It's woods lavender and Spices. Not only is it classy, it's comforting as well. This scent is timeless.

Funny story. I really enjoy John Varvatos cologne but hadnt gotten Dark Rebel yet nor smelled it before. I did a blind buy after watching your video and received it this week. So i wore it today and some got on my wool jacket, i took it off at my mums house and their cat ended up pulling it off a chair and was playing in it. I didnt think much about it but then later on that night someone was playing with the cat and was like "omg this cat smells awesome!" they thought my sister bathed it or something, so i said "let me smell" and yup! It had gotten some dark rebel on its fur and smelled delicious! bahahaha. So yeah i thought that was hilarious and decided to share it with ya!

You are completely right about creed aventus I have the opportunity to have a good friend that passed away last year and he introduce me to the creed collection's and this one in particular, he give me a tiny little bottle with maybe 5 drop, he said to all you need is two drops, go with your life and we will talk tomorrow, I was intrigued to see what's he talking about, I went to the bank and that was my first complement two different clerks ask me...mr. mr. What cologne you have on, I was surprised and I said creed aventus, then in my way back to work a security guy asked me to, later that night my wife ask me too, I said this is real stuff with just two drop. I told my friend nest day and he just said, I told you. Oh by the way love your accent.

Girl, you are like one in a million. Not many girls like Rive gauche because it smells like their father, and Bottega Venetta being too harsh. The Fragrance industry has changed so they both come off as something mature and unusual to most people. Me personally love them both.

Because there are 3: the silver, the golden and the wooden cap. I've heard the last one(wooden cap) is not as good as the former versions in quality and potency, in my country is almost impossible to find the former versions so anyway I would bought it. You would help me a lot if you can tell me which one did you smell. Please keep doing these videos, I enjoy to see how you describe top masculine fragrances and are always so classy and gorgeous to make your content.

For me Bois du Portugal is amazing from opening to finish, easily the most underrated scent in the game.
I love Creed Aventus but I feel everyone's wearing it now. So it's kind of lost its charm a bit. Great list though.

Great video and much respect for putting a guerlain at numero uno! A fantastic fragrance to add to this list for those that haven't smelled it is Jovoy's incident diplomatique... it's one of those fragrances that smells like nothing you've smelled before, yet it's so familiar that at the same time you'll feel like you've known it your entire life. I think an awesome video for you to make would be one about unisex scents and scents that are sometimes mislabeled feminine in the gray market that are actually fairly masculine (or at least you'd prefer to smell on a man). If I remember correctly you feel that way about Chergui. You need to try Guerlain's Santal Royal, Aramis's Calligraphy Saffron, and Memo Paris Luxor Oud... all of which could be on the aforementioned list. You should do a leather fragrance video as well because I could listen to you say leather all day long haha.

Another great list of men's perfume! Bois Du Portugal was a surprise for me, I didn't think it would make your list, I had a sample of it because of Mr. Smelly and I agree that the opening is strong, mature and masculine, but the dry down is indeed very pleasant.Thanks Demi.

Hey Demi! Thanks for this list! This type of fragrances are commonly look over for over the more trendy ones (not a bad thing, just a fact :) ). There's few of us who actually prefer these scent profiles, so this top 10 really does help narrow my fragrance journey!

Demi, I'm watching all your videos - they're great! And it's a subject that I'm so passionate about myself! It's nice that you included Rive Gauche that is older and often forgotten. YSL have a few exquisite creations dating back to Tom Ford days. M7 is another spectacular example... With regards to Aventus - the pineapple note is one that I'm currently fascinated with...Have you smelt Cartier's MUST edt for women? There is a pineapple note in there too that is delicious and "shifty" (ie that shifts in character - in a good way!). It is an opulent masterpiece full of contrasts and surprises, yet regal in the smoothness of it's own symphony. Would love to know what you think of this oldie:) Keep doing what you do so well!
