You may not think she's innocent. But based on what has been presented to date, the state has not even come close to proving her guilt reasonable doubt. She does not have to prove her innocence. The state has to prove her guilt, and so far this has not been done.
It don't even seem like she's the one on trial. 😂😂
And it's crazy how people freaked out when they pointed the finger at Young Colin Albert but if you remember when she was arrested the second time she said
"John was pummeled by Colin and Brian Albert and my tail light is cracked"
I couldn't remember if she said Colin and Brian or who she said but I went back and confirmed it. She definitely said John was pumbled by Colin and Brian Albert....
Don't forget Brian Higgins took a profer agreement with the feds. 😮
So this means the lawyers for Karen and Karen and the FBI may know something.
From what I understand there's a good chance that Brian Higgins might be cooperating to stay out of trouble.
He left Albert's house that night and went to the department at about 1:30 when he wasn't on duty.
Brian Higgins told the government there was a fight in that basement with John and Colin and then John verse Colin and Brian..
I remember Karen's lawyers outside showing dominance towards the public that she is innocent and when he said "we know who killed John"
He said it with so much confidence in a way like he was so sure and 100% knew it..
I'm pretty sure the feds have the Albert family nailed.

It wasn't just 'evidence' put in the solo cup. It was a dying man's blood. It ended up being evidence in a murder trial. It's unbelievable.
More importantly where is the rest of his blood lost as a result of that head wound? There would be a very large amount of blood at the scene.

I am shocked that the family is believing that he was murdered by Karen based on the lack of evidence and injuries not consistent with hit and run. So sad

This station published a photo of Colin Albert’s injured knuckles that was weeks after a photo taken soon after the incident that showed his knuckles had NO injuries. Disgustingly inaccurate coverage. Is this channel being paid by the defense??

The craziest part about this… because we didn’t know where the solo cups came from a year ago… they came from the deputy chief across the street Kelliher!!!!!! Also he didn’t have his ring camera working that night either. How ironic is that? Too bad so many police officers in one area no cameras? It’s absolutely terrifying. What’s going on right now she’s innocent.

@65cj55 all they had to do was wait till he was pernounced dead then the state would have came in but nope cops who have stated in court they have no knowledge of how to collect evidence went ahead and screwed it up. One even admitted he had no idea how to use evidence tape. Who actually believes that? These cops should lose their jobs and because of them no will be held responsible for John's death. Also there is no log of the blood being put into evidence. It wasnt ever logged.

So the leading detective taking her phone without a warrent so he could look for nudes doesnt raise eyebrows. Him taking her car long before he logged that he did. Tail light pieces magically showing up after the scene was released while being on top of snow including on top of a footprint. I cant believe any evidence from these cops or detective.

The worst part about the Google search at 2:27 AM “hos long to die in cold” …. They hadn’t put him out there yet, because Laughran drove by around that time and he told the FBI and he’s going to testify if I’m not mistaken for the defense that he did drive by around that time and that 2:27 am Google search was right after Brian Higgins and Brian Albert “butt dialed” and “ but answered” each other’s calls.… so the worst part is: they knew he was dying, they just wanted to know how long it was gonna take for him to die. That is diabolical. They are going to hell they knew a man was dying not just a man, but a Boston police officer for almost 20 years. Someone who put their life on the line every day for the safety of the city….. they just wanted to know how long it was gonna take when you really think about that. That is on a whole Nother level to do to someone and to make them suffer like that in the freezing 18° weather. It’s another thing to try to frame an innocent woman. To go to jail for the rest of her life. For something that you wanted to know, how long is it gonna take for this police officer to die? That is the worst part.
I know it's likely a small comfort, but John was definitely already passed out when they put him out in the snow. He had lost 3 liters of blood, and only a tiny bit of it was outside, meaning he lost most of it inside. By the time they took him outside, he wouldn't have had an adequate blood supply to his brain to maintain consciousness.

I agree with Katherine. I thought her testimony was credible too. It felt like we got a glimpse into Karens quirks and personality issues, as seen by a person dealing with her in person.
Wait till the defense picks her apart like they did with her husband.
Wow, the media says it’s beyond dispute that he never went into the house? He certainly entered the house. The jury is watching they know exactly how this trial is going.

Allie said John was there. Jen Google 3 times, trying to blame karen for 6 a.m. defense should bring up others at 2 :37 a.m.
KR’s PREVIOUS ADMISSIONS (EXAMPLES):
1. WBZ-TV Report 3 Feb 2022 (on YT) regarding the court hearing on 2 February 2022 (where KR faced the charges relating to JO’s death and was released on $50k bail) and upon questioning (as verified by the above report on YT) she told LE:
- She dropped JO off because she was having stomach issues.
- She made a 3 point turn in the road and left.
- She did not see JO enter the house (this contradicts her interviews a year later).
- Therefore confirming she did take JO to the Alberts house in her SUV (verifying the sightings of her SUV out the front are true).
- She first observed her broken taillight on that morning and did not know how she broke it (this contradicts the allegation it was due to hitting JO’s SUV on that morning - if she had hit JO’s SUV at around 5:00 am she would have known exactly why her taillight was broken and said so if it were true (story that’s also come out later).
- Confirmed she had said at the time of finding JO: “I hit him” - 4 times.
- Both her and Yannetti (representing her) were in the court and accepted the above with no denials.
- It’s been said that Yannetti had referred to it as being an accident when speaking to the media outside the Stoughton District Court and had managed to negotiate a plea deal of 16 months but KR rejected it (didn’t want to do jail time).
2. Boston 25 News on 8 August 2023 (on YT) - Parents interview whereby her father says she told him (shortly after JO was found and as verified by the above interview on YT) that:
- “Dad I think I struck something”.
- “I remember backing up and hitting something”.
This is obviously referring to hitting JO, otherwise if she was referring to (allegedly) hitting his SUV she would know and say that, and would not be using the word “something”.
KR was probably quite/very intoxicated. We know her and JO didn’t eat at the WF and there is no mention of them eating at CFM either. Possibly no food in her stomach since lunch time at work (approximately 12 hours before) and we know she’s loving the alcohol (she stole a drink from one bar to take it to the other).
THE ABOVE ARE IN TOTAL CONTRADICTION OF THE DEFENSE AT THIS TRIAL AND THE CONSPIRACY THEORY.
Also it was only after a year later when the state upgraded the charges to second degree murder, that the whole alleged conspiracy theory was formulated and began, and also at that time she began alleging that she saw JO go into the Albert’s house (which she had never said before).

Not only is the state doing a terrible job of preventing any evidence whatsoever that this lady hit the man and left him. But the judge is horrible with her bias against the defense. They should have never allowed her to oversee this case. Mistrial at best!

The only "proof" you guys are clinging to say he was inside of the house is Matt McCabe 's daughter, who wasn't even in the house, saying that Colin wasn't in the house with John.

Prosecution’s strategy is all wrong. I would present motive, evidence, strong witnesses fist so defense can not force prosecution into a defense position.

I was All For Karen, Until I Saw Turtleboys recreation of backing up on the curve. He failed to negotiate the curve and ended up in the yard. Now Im Wondering if Karen Had some kind of Mental Episode, followed by paranoia and doesnt really know what she did.
Agree- she was drunk- even hours later. She left him voicemail saying she hated him. She said she felt used taking care of kids. She said, i killed him, did i kill him, is he dead, the snowplow killed him etc. I think she was drunk and didnt remember- when he didn't come home - she called her 2 friends and now shes lying to save herself

I have some opinions about this case. But one of my least controversial opinion is that Julie Nagel has great hair. Just my opinion. But I'm right. (This opinion has no relationship whatsoever to my opinion about how well she testified.)

Judge is delaying this, objecting for DA, jumping when "witnesses" she may know are being put on the spot (as it should), caughing and signaling Mr. Lally so many conflicts of interests im surprised a change of venue was not considered imperative, therefore granted! Undoubtly too many know too many, and obviously there's a larger amount of "dirt" behind all this! At the end of the day, someone has lost hisblife, a BOSPD Officer- Judge should refer to him as Officer O'Keefe!

Jr. testified Karen's car was facing Cedarcrest Road. The google search will depend on which Google server handled the query and where it's physically located. The timestamp is on the back end.

I'm just watching as a member of the public knowing nothing about law.........but all thru the three weeks I thought "Why aren't they interviewing the big names that I was expecting to hear.....? Oh well, I don't know about courts, maybe it's the way they do things, do the guys incidentally involved then do the big guys......"..........but I'm seeing this is surprising to knowledgeable law people..........(I'm watching from Edinburgh in Scotland).........a police corruption story broke here in Edinburgh in the past few weeks, police gave undercover police officers' names to organised crime-type criminals........as I was reading about that, my friend Tony in London a couple of months before, had been describing Edinburgh court authorities approaching him a couple of years before in offering Tony their help........but they exploited their position to filch £100,000 out of his bank account.......+ he thinks he can do nothing about it, the way it was done.........I'd ask that Matthew Albert straight out, "Are you a Mafia criminal?"....... 18:57
However they have shown reasonable doubt as to how John was killed. Seems plausible that he was hit by a plow due to his injuries and location
