I dunno...after watching a few videos about this treatment, im not convinced it's worth the money. It doesnt do anything. 😑🤷
It is worth it when applied correctly via a haircare professional. I get the hair Botox done at the salon, and in my 13+ years of being natural, my hair is the longest/healthiest looking, with way less breakage than it's ever been after starting to do this treatment periodically. In the salon the "Botox" is applied to completely clean and clarified hair, then it is silk pressed on to "lock in" the coating on the shaft, that's why no additional products are applied to the hair until AFTER the hair has been silk pressed. The results in the video arent bad, but I would recommend professional application before you judge if it's worth it.

I have to strongly disagree. When applied correctly (on dry hair after being throughly washed/clarified & stripped of all oils with NO conditioner) it is a game changer. It’s not meant to alter your curl pattern. It’s meant to reduce frizz, revitalize, strengthen & increase management. Your hair will be noticeably shinier, easier to straighten & detangle & less frizzy. I’ve also noticed I only have to use 1/4 of my usual amount of products throughout my routine. I live in Florida so this has helped me be able to maintain my hair styles far longer despite humidity. I got it done professionally and paid $200 but going forward I will be doing it at home in a well ventilated area. I say give it a try & see for yourself just don’t do what she did in the video lol avoid applying directly to the scalp and wait at least 2days before adding oil. Also recommend leaving treatment in for an hr under a dryer for deep penetration.
You have to apply it CORRECTLY. You don’t wash the product out and shampoo. You rinse 80% out and flat iron the product into your strands. It’s a THERMAL treatment. She did it completely wrong. I get hair Botoxes professionally every other month and my hair looks like glass every time I do it. It so worth it. It’s actually better to get it done professionally since they actually know how to apply the product.
@StelmariaonE7 Your response is SPOT on!💯It really only works when a REAL professional applies it. I go to Dominicans in NYC who specialize in it. It's a GAME changer. People often stop me on the street to compliment my hair. It is SUPER healthy, strong & goes to the middle of my back.
