I’m going to age myself here (I’m 40) but I used to take sound bites from the show and put them on cassette tapes. And this opening song was one of them. However, when it aired in my market the station went into breaking news just as the last note of the song hit. I was always so frustrated it wasn’t complete. Now it’s 2024 and I haven’t used a cassette tape in 20 years. This song only lived as a memory in my head. Until today. Pure joy. This was the shows first trip to LA and it was PEAK season 1. The momentum and joy around this were like no other. Just look at how huge the audience was! Rosie would make it to LA again for season 2, and then in season 3 and 4 she instead went to Orlando. Thank you again Team Ro for this. As someone who’s been around since day one, this is really some full circle stuff. And the healing you are doing for young me is insurmountable. Growing up as a scared LGBTQ kid who was really questioning his existence, this one hour of the day made up for all of the darkness the other 23 hours had. It is no accident that this show aired from grades 7-12 for me. It was there for me when the universe knew I’d need it. Rosie was like my counselor in a lot of ways. She always spoke highly of teachers, and guess what? I became one. But then I took it a step further and became a counselor myself. I am in my ninth year as a public school counselor and in some way Ro and this show played a part in that happening for me. Okay thank you for coming to my TED Talk 😂❤️
Every single Rosie Show episode is pure gold. and this one doesn't disappoint either. Seeing Merv and Ed Asner is like being at a family reunion.. Growing up with both of them just makes me so Happy to see them. Rosie's show is the best thing on youtube. PERIOD.

RUclips has become nearly unusable due to the overwhelming number of ads and glitches with this latest update. Just before an ad interrupts, the video shrinks into a small square now, cutting off the sides. When you try to skip the ad, the video skips forward more than it should. The skip ad button is more tiny than ever and hard to hit. The platform has also slowed down significantly due to all the ads, using much more data, (expensive). The excessive ads are making the experience unbearable. Change it back, Google!
