I would love to give you a clear "yes" but since it's very pricey and there are bikes like a MT09 I really can't. It is super fun and very comfy but does not like corners as much as I would like it to. If you're a very sporty rider it might seem a bit bulky but if you're right between fun and comforts plus you have to 21k to drop on a heavy MT09 go for it. I love the FTR tho :) It is a very special bike for special riders.
@@SassyOnMoto This bike and the MT09 are vastly different! I owned a 2019 and I’ve rented a 2024 XSR900 when in Seattle. They make power very differently. The FTR is much more aggressive/snappy feeling. The MT/XSR will feel much more nimble. The base model FTR will be much better of a comparison price wise as well. The only real advantage the XSR I tested had was the quick shifter. But again, the bike felt more cramped, had lower quality finishes, and didn’t feel as raw. I’d own either bike. Wouldn’t opt for the 100% FTR x r carbon though and wouldn’t say that’s a fair comparison either as this is a 1 of 400 bike. Do a proper spec comparison next time.
@@SassyOnMotoprime example, I’m getting a 2023 carbon r with under 2k miles for $12,500. My local dealer got it at auction. Your comparison is laughable.
Pros: beautiful, aggressive, best sounding bike in the market (personal opinion). Cons: slightly pricier than competition and tank capacity This is a 1 of 400 model, so can’t go off price based on this model.
The sound of it is absolutely amazing, stunning quality!
❤❤😮😮
Do you have a tune in the bike or baffles out of the exhaust or totally stock?
The Akrapovič is totally stock, baffles are still in 😊 Have a great day.
Thinking hard about pulling the trigger on this FTR. Worth it? Thanks for posting too!
