Got some questions Plastic drag clip? How is the handle, can u spin in backwards to fold it in? Like the power aero? Is this a carp reel or more for seawater? The instant drag u said i still heard the slip when u made it tight stand.. So how much winding to make it really tight ?
Hi I have just bought this model but the bail arm does not clip over when you turn the the handle.The dealer said this is normal on higher end reels is this correct?
That is correct, they are designed to be flipped over manually so that they can remove the slack needed in the rotor to trip the bail. This gives you a much better instant anti reverse for improved hook sets and feel
Biggest differences would be the new Infinity Drive, Slow 5 Oscillation and Silent Drive between the newest version of XSE and the previous models. The new Big Pit should have these new upgrades as well

I believe only two models were redone... The XSE and the Big Pit. If that's the case it would be Infinity Drive, Silent Drive and Slow 5 Oscillation would be the biggest upgrades. Not sure about the other models because I only get a chance to deal with North American models.

I would go Blue Mirror / Grey lens for the blue water. It gives the best contrast out there

What size reel? What are you fishing for?

No access port on these, you would have to take off a side plate which is 3 small screws I believe.
