Can you honestly imagine Dave Grohl, Paul McCartney, Brian May, Mick Jagger, Dave Mustaine, David Gilmour or Jeff Beck putting their names in to a lottery? No chance. They were obviously invited along with others. Then the remaining seats were put up for lottery... also, capitalise names you stupid illiterate fuck!

    I love the GN’R one so much because Duff provides backstory to it in his book. He shook axls hand and left so long ago and since then he went back to school, and he was actually starting a business. So he was in London for a meeting for the company and staying at a hotel that he used to stay at with GN’R and the receptionist says “enjoy the show tonight.” And Duff is confused and the receptionist says “I’m so sorry, I thought you were playing. You’re booked right next to a Mr. Axl Rose.” And Duff meets with Axl and catches up and goes on for the encore that night

But, don't you find it odd that RATM managed a 4-year reunion that they completed 5 years ago, yet, TOOL --- who never disbanded --- are still "already recording a new album"? Seems they're always in the process of doing that, but, we never hear the results. You're aware they last put out a new LP in 2006, right? Hardly a moot point.

    james and dave on stage together again was a pretty big moment for me.....but seriously who the fuck cares about courtney love making up with dave and krist???

    • @KrzysztofMularOlsen
      @KrzysztofMularOlsen 9 лет назад +1

      But Kerry King and Tom Araya never took part in those jam sessions. Because they didn't want to play with bullshit rambling born again christian Dave. The man who got Venom thrown off a south American festival tour because they were satanic. Playing before the much more anti religious Slayer all over the world was not a problem for him though. Since it was the biggest cash cow he had stumbled over since the early 90s. Fuck Dave. He's every bit as nuts as Courtney love. And Hole were signed long before Nirvana released their breakthrough album.

      CazzSDMF He's good enough to play on what is regarded as the best thrash album ever made. And do yourself a favor and do some research before commenting. Kerry King was good enough to play in Megadeth. Yeah.... He was their replacement guitarist in 1984. When Dave had his nose over a mirror and not in a bible. You not liking his style of playing is not the criteria for being a good guitar player. And while Americans regard drug addicts turned christian a great thing. I (and most atheists agree with me on this one) consider them hypocrites who think all is well and all the shit they did never happened because their new imaginary friend says so. And Dave is an asshole even when he's sober. He has no problems with putting songs co written by Friedman and Menza on 13. While calling them rotten teeth that needed to be pulled out. Also blaming them for the more hard rock direction Megadeth took after the success of the catchy songs on Countdown to extinction. But that kind of doesn't make sense after hearing the heavy songs on 13 that the pair wrote. And then reading the credits of the 100% hard rock album that followed. Where Mustaine and the other guitarist are the main contributors. Dave is now blaming the guitarist for the album tanking..... He's such a friendly christian gentleman. I love Megadeth's 80s to mid 90s material. Even the hated Youthanasia. I have spent lots of money on getting pre Dave's 2004 butchering (remaster sessions) vinyls of the three best 80s releases. But no guitar solo can change the fact that Mustaine is right up there alongside Gene Simmons and Sharon Osbourne. Widely regarded as the biggest assholes in the metal industry. How much of an asshole do you have to be to tell the metal press that your drummer is faking cancer to get out of touring. While Menza was hospitalized after removing a tumor from his knee. Or be thrown off a tour with Aerosmith for "erratic behavior" The toxic twins (Tyler and Perry) who gave their toxic twins shirts to Axl and Slash because they couldn't keep up with their drug intake and crazy antics on tour. You have to be seriously annoying to piss off the guy who had to let his bride and all the wedding guest wait while his band mate scored some heroin. (Joe Perry's wedding.)

      CazzSDMF I'm a cunty fucktard because Kerry King played in Megadeth...... Be a man and admit when you've made a dumb comment. Don't react like a 5 year old kid not getting the candy he wants.

    Lots of comments, and nobody mentions RUSH? Getting back together 5 years after Neil Peart's tragic losses, and then filling arenas around the world for another decade deserves such respect. And if you watch their documentary, you will see members of most bands in this video telling what a huge influence they have been on them: Metallica, Rage, Foo, Soundgarden etc. RUSH is the greatest rock band in the universe! Ever! Rush is like a 40 year old wine, Kiss is like a 40 year old beer...

    Adrian's return to Maiden was just as important as Bruce's. Adrian Smith was always the soul and blues of that band. His writing and melodic soloing was one of their greatest strengths. It's why they sucked without him.
