Oni God I’m a 300
Imagine dedicating your whole life to chess to reach an unimaginable 2400 ELO in chess. Then just to be a part of this mans speed run lmaoo
😭😭😭 Goes to show, as with all things in life, there's levels to this. 😂😂😂
At 5:45, for three moves in a row he misses discovered attack Bg5+ winning the queen on a1
Saw that as well, can't believe he missed it...
I was literally telling him out loud to play that move xD
The pride to see it when he didnt kinda vanished when he backed up 15 moves to see it himself later
He literally said that he did that already lmao
@@Masterdebater14 except it wasnt his memory, it was the chat telling him to go back and look
The combination of your high level play, production quality, and charismatic personality.... This is the best chess stream out there!
if im being honest i prefer watching xqc blunder
"You know you've messed up when the chat's right"
Let's all look forward to the clash between TheDadbobShuffle and Yearoftherabbit
Wish itd happen but blitz vs bullet lol
Would be hilarious if they didn't know who each other were. Eric would say "how the fuck is he so strong?!" and then chuck a chair lol
@@chrisiver8506 Eric has beaten Hikaru many times, so I'm sure Hikaru must be thinking the same after playing weak 2300s for a while
Now that you made this comment, it won't be a surprise now would it?
who is Yearoftherabbit ?
i watch this just to hear him says holy smokes
Speed run 2400 to 2200

28:29 eric just missed mate in 1
28:29 Qd5 mate
David Onym I can’t believe I saw that and Eric didn’t. This might be the first time that has ever happened.
@@DanielHatchman but he was in time trouble and got carried away by his emotions we cant really blame him honestly
or after Qh8+ Kd7 Qxa8 Qd3#
David Onym don’t take this away from me. It will never ever ever happen again.
Love this channel and this man! ;)
Ok, I see all these stories about Eric and Aman, and my tears are sliding down my cheeks like never before. I kept my story secret now for over 20 years now, as I felt so ashamed and humiliated by the chain of events that happened that day. The time has come for me to open my soul finally and continue with my life.
It was a rainy day somewhere in September, 1998. I was only 8 years old. My friends and I made a small wooden house in the tree earlier that summer, so we decided to hide there until the rain stops. There was this blue-eyed girl that I really liked, Maya. She sat right next to me. Two of my best childhood buddies were also there. We never suspected what happened next...
We were just having fun, laughing - when suddenly I heard a weird noise coming from outside. I said "shh", "shhhhhhhhh". We all went quiet and my heart started pounding instantly, almost as I could feel something was about to go down. I looked into Maya's eyes and for a brief second I could see the whole Universe inside. Little did I know this will be the last time I see those big blue eyes.
I put my head out to check who is making the noise, just to see these two punk kids that were bullying the whole neighbourhood - Aman on one side, Eric on other - cutting one of the branches the house was standing on - with a chainsaw. As I screamed in horror "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!", Eric turned his head around and looked at me with the cold sadistic look. He felt no remorse.
The next thing I know, I woke up in the hospital with 3 broken ribs, punctured liver and a heavy head injury. My right eye was swollen like a pumpkin. I used my left eye like a chameleon to spot the nurse sitting next to me. The first thing I said to her was: "Nurse, please tell me Maya is OK! "
But the nurse stood up furiously from her chair, turned me upside down, and as I screamed in horror, inserted a carrot in my butt.
Bro who is gonna read that
Great episode! This guy is a gm but also a young guy real cool
Defiantly do more of these
Beyond words, beyond the dimensions .. this is how desperation meets humility and beauty, expressed by a genius named Eric Hansen
Better marry him
get me some organs to sell on the black market while your waay up in there
Mr.BallaBill wtf are u talking about😂
@@zackbrown6008you didn't get it
18:00 That Christian Prommer song is the jam!
Amazing Stuff!
Your playlists are awsome, can you release them on Spotify or something so I can download them lol
23:12 When you win with those sweet 00.4 seconds
Do you always play the same 4 songs? hahaha i love the techno u play
Your channel is more addictive than Drugs :)
I like it when it goes "K.O" :)
dude... you are a monster!
i still think eric is one of the worlds strongest blitz players
Your first real loss. (Last 3 all confirmed cheaters).
how do you know they cheated?
@Emeref Rmf I was playing a guy online about a month ago and he accused me of cheating and I did not just took longer on a particular move but no cheating and when i seen this and your comment--i wondered how can one sincerely know.
What about the first dude knight? He's still playing right
gishena no
You can just analyze a game. If someone plays 40 excellent moves in a row, odds are theyre cheating unless youre in the like 3k elo lol
20:17 mate in one? No no no... mate in two!
that's how you become grandmaster
I see you aman
what a start.
28:40 I haven't watched Eric before until the Blitz Speedrun showed up in my recommended. I like how he'll dish it out, chuckle, and give other players a hard time for their blunders and stuff, but also is straight when he makes his own goof ups and throws out some self-deprecation to balance it out. Fun guy to watch.
Hey i have a question, at 10.40 isn't knight to e5 is free queen ? Started chess not that long ago so i'm not sure but would really appreciate a answer ^^. Nice video man !
12:24 the music agrees with Hansen
28:29 Qd5 would've been a checkmate
5:45 Bg5+ wins his queen followed by Qxa1!!!
And Bg5+ was hanging for 3 more moves after it, I was screaming at the screen!
He finally notices at 7:01
Aghhhh
love 2:57 its almost like he waits on the drop and then shouts faster Hahahahaha. You´re great player though
lol that's hilarious. i didn't notice that
Ahh shit, here we go again.
Ai Azzy home.. at least before i fuckd everything up
like your music
Let’s go!!
Eric getting upset at himself is a beautiful thing, because it's so real. This is chess.
20:25 when u have mate in 1, let’s look for better
Someone please explain why at 5:48 he does go bishop g5 check and then take the queen on a1. That’s an instant gg no?
"this is bad, oh this is bad. Im blundering a lot."
"This is good! This is good! Im winning losing positions!" Lol
@ 5:47 am I missing something? Cant you do Bg5+??
5:51 Bg5x wins queen
He went back after chat called him out on it
"Bg5x" - lol is he eating an imaginary pawn tho
Chess is beautiful
For the boys
(new to chess) can some1 explain why on 23:40 bishop takes on d5 isnt the best move? i mean you remove the defender of the queen while guarding with the same piece tha queen. so essentially you win a piece, right? or am i missing something? btw great content mr. Hansen keep up the wonderful work ^_^ i get that the move played was great and i would never think of that, and it kinda ends the game, but just asking out of curiousity!
qxd4
Damir Kljajo was the first one to defeat Eric in a fair battle.
is their a link to his playlist?
17:00 took me a full 5 seconds to realize that 17:00 Qxc4 would be a blunder: mate in two! :0
i know he's putting himself in a state of extreme exhaustion... and is therefore playing way below his level... but damn it feels good to be seeing everything he is and everything he isn't...
1st game was amazing
how come? , the guy is a cheat engine obviously rated 2200 that was able to defeat a GM rated 2800+ , cheat engine or psychopath......
23:13... holy shit. I pooped my pants
3:47 Im pretty sure rook h7 is just mate
queen takes rook
2404 freaking genius. Nice combo
What is the name of the song at last 2 mins?
Second game you had Bg5+ to win the queen several moves in a row
5:45 Bg5 And pick up the free queen
Rahman Ratul was face palming so hardddd
Video starts, “I’m gonna sacrifice my queen. This is winning!” Fast forward to the end of the chess game, “OH NO!! Oh my goodness...”
King dude
"Gone were the days of the Passive Peters."
Ayyy u watch the peaky blinders too?
What’s up with the 126-3 at the top changing to 128-3 at 0:21?
woow he got the music play
list..nice.. lol
does anyone know the name of the music he's playing
earlier around 5:40, didn't he have Bg5+ after Kd7, winning the queen?
Someone please tell me what song is playing at 16:27
whats erics playlist?
oz_gm what a dirty cheater, I love how he got exposed in time scramble, he couldn't win even if you gave him two queens.
Arya time stamp bro, always add a time stamp
Andrew Goldstein 12:37
How is he cheating? (Just wondering. not saying this in an offensive way.)
@@rrian8376 probably the difference in ability between the end with time pressure and without
@@lazthegreat10 ah ok. I see now lol
5:52 bg5 picks up the queen
132 game's great 😈
That first game lmaoooo
“Can I get like a Kreygasm for this pawn chain” Hahahaha Eric you’re killin me
22:40 TAHT CLUTCH
This is MUCH better than Naka's 1 minute climb to 3000 because I can't learn a damn thing from 1 minute.
Incorrect, if you're not learning from Hikaru then you're probably lower rated and not following - in which case, you should pause and analyze. That's what I used to do, but after a while, you just 'see it' like he does. There's a learning curve for sure. Maybe the speed run isn't the best place to learn, but in general, he has tons of insights and he tells you the lines he's calculating and why, especially in dynamic situations. Eric doesn't do that, not nearly as often. He can't both think and gab at the same time... for Hikaru it's second nature.
5:43 he could have moved his dark bishop to g5 then win the queen
10:00 THAT MISCLICK LOL
@ 15:35 why did eric move rook to f2? feels like a loss of material?
Jesus these 2300s play like maniacs
27:02 queen h8 looked better
Voted for you
Am I the only one who realized he could take the opponent's queen at 6:07 min? he only had to check the king with his dark square bishop and he could take his queen
What makes the score increase by 0.5?
why all the games are started? We miss the opening part...
I dont think that first guy was trying to to be dirty, cuz Qb7 was the only move that saves the mate
......
i need a spotify playlist with all the songs in them..pls help me
Look up Eric Hansen on Spotify
didn't know Roberto Firmino was that good at chess
Moments 30:14 and 30:23 contradict each other when it comes to Eric's score, and his rating. Probably he didn't update his score.
Is that aman in the back
1:15 Nxf7!!
5:42 he missed the simple bg5 like 6 times
that moment when u realise that g5 with bishop
"I have some plans for you my friend..... oh i just blundered!"
at about 27:50 couldnt you just put the rook all the way up and pin the rook to the king? and i know im dissecting a game after the fact, and hes on time. Im just curious..
28:30 why not Q d5 checkmate ??????????????
6:58 I can’t see what’s wrong here in regards to the queen he mentions. Can someone enlighten me? Normally I can follow his commentary and moves, but I fail to see what he should have done? Thanks :-) And love to see these videos.
Bg5 is check then pick up the Queen on a1.
23:35 Bxd5 is actually better. If black white didn't missplay he would be losing the bishop to take the rook. Even if white does a simple Queen check intermediate into the pawn would make it worse than Bxd5....
I guess 9:40 and blitz game allows him to not see it :P
outro song?
Nvm I should of watched the video longer haha.
at 19:24 i think Ne4 is slightly stronger than Ng4 but eric might be right idk
as it results after g6 mate in 7
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeessss
crazy... this dude recognizes he has a draw like 5 moves ahead. Me, ill get a draw and be like "wait what happened.."
