Anakq got banned for cheating, You were playing against an engine, probably stockfish 8 or something. He played against Jon Ludvig Hammer (GM from Norway) and Jon Ludvig Hammer lost that match. He got banned after that.

What's the fun of playing a game if you know you will win because you are a GM playing sub 2000 players. Not that I condemn Eric, I just want you to notice that you also enjoy him beating those people just like an engine users enjoys beating people.. So one can understand engine users. Still hope they all get banned, because its not fair.

It’s amazing how many cheaters there are at this level. Dudes have no life to just play using an engine.
It used to help in CVs etc for jobs to be able to say you were a GM. It's a bit devalued now, probably doesn't count like it used to.

Just FYI, pumperkrazy (game at 20:39) has also had their account banned for violating fair play policy. Seems like you get around 2000 and the cheaters become more abundant until you reach titled players around 2400-2500.

he almost certainly played some cheaters in the first 90 opponents - not every cheater is a good cheater however
@@cardigan3000 Specially in Blitz it's hard to cheat. In rapid/classic he would face one every 40 or so... Lichess has good anti cheating system tho

For all we know when someone rises as fast as Eric has, the website occasionally puts an engine up as opponent to see if they can beat it or come close. If so, they ban the player for cheating.

@@StefanReich How else can they tell? Eric is winning 100% for nearly 100 games. Evidence against this is that they kept matching him to these guys after they trounced him.
@@konberner170 A. They can talk to him and find out who he is. He could have dropped chess.com a mail before the speedrun too.
B. They can computer-analyze his games and see that he's a human player.

Against Anakq the German player: WINNING MOVE IS Nf7 in response to Rd8. I double-checked with engine:

What do you gain by cheating in online chess? Like, if you cheat enough to get a super high rating, you're going to get heavily scrutinized and it's going to become clear you're a cheater. If you're cheating just to gain like a minor advantage, why not just put in the effort to *actually* get slightly better? I don't get it.
It's amazing how many cheaters there is at this elo lol. A 2650 gm having to flag 2200s is hilarious if you know anything about chess. If they were playing with real skill levels and no technology a gm could beat 20 in a simul. 🤣

@Hhh936 I'm still 2250 high in blitz but the bullet was 2372. Lichess has good explanations for the openings and why the moves are played etc. Understand what the moves are doing is better than simply memorizing. Memorization will come with time. Also, watch my channel. I break down chess games 😉
