- Combat looks fine just very safe I really can't give a definitive take on things until I try the game out myself, my only real concern are the companions. Also, apologies, in my rush to get this video out I forgot the background music at the end.

This is not Dagon Age. It is Fantasy Mass Effect. I dont hate it. But it is just Mass Effect.
the whole time I was like "are the party members even there?"
Yep, their impact during combat seems very small, at least so far.
Yep, they absolutely had combos and finishers in DA:O. The combos were awesome, and the finishers were more a cinematic bite on crit death, but they definitely had them. Ditto with the detailed skill trees and in-depth character creation. Strand-by-strand hair and modern makeup doesn't mean the character creator is MORE in-depth, it means it has more polished and more attractive aesthetics and modern physics animations in-game.
All of this is looking VERY much like Assassin's Creed Odyssey and the latest Diablo games... games I *liked* , but absolutely NOT what I'm after from a Dragon Age game. It DOES look safe, the colour palette looks like a dark kids cartoon like Gargoyles or TMNT etc. Yes it's dark, but the colours are SO primary and saturated. I still find the fact that half the companions being realistic and the other half being cartoony INCREDIBLY distracting.
Also, the more I see the hyper saturated colour palette and excessive use of bloom and ray tracing, the more I worry about getting my migraines triggered. I can already foresee having to set a timer and dull the graphics right down to be able to play longer than an hour at a time.
I dunno... I want to be excited, I really do! I LOVE DA, but the more I see and the more I hear from the Devs, the more I'm realising that I'm not the target audience, and not only that, they don't WANT gamers like me as a customer. The "Community Panel" influencers are extremely emphatic about that fact. 😡
They've also yet to show us any non-combat gameplay, outside of walking from one fight to another.
VERY SAFE XD a group of three with two tank like doing a wow dongeon with 3 tank one heal^^ longer but safer^^
