I was stationed in Yokosuka Japan while in the Navy and visited Thailand on several occasions. Lots of great food to be found from talented food vendors on the streets and lots of beautiful women.

My estimate she sells about 250 Rotis a day. At average cost of 30 Baht per Roti, -Daily revenue = 7500 BHT. Deduct 60% for cost of materials, gas, bribes to police and city mafias she will net approx 3000 BHT per day. She deserves it for all the hard work. You wont believe many of these street food vendors are financially well off. You can see some of them start the day driving their stuff in a nice newer car and that should tell there is money in it and of course with a lot of Hard work.
She says 100 per day, which means average 3-4 minutes each. 250 is unlikely, unless she buys pre made ones from elsewhere, and just fries at the stall (there are a lot of pre made rotis in supermarkets, just not sure about Thailand).
Almost always the cars are supported by loans, as are small business, and and and. Ive met many Thai from all walks of life, classes. All, yes All in debt to some degree. Thai people live for today, the moment, results in generational debt

khun Puy, the Roti Lady is truly an amazing lady. An inspiration to all - for the hard work she puts into her waking day that ends after midnight! The amazing thing is - she does this day after day - just Eggs, bananas, roti, Condensed milk, sugar and butter. The other thing is, she keeps that cart overnight on the street and i keep wondering why no one steals stuff from her cart or even steal the cart. I am baffled. She is a great ambassador for Bangkok and deserves recognition. Will keep watching the videos you put out here on youtube. Whoever is putting these videos together needs to be commended as well. If I ever visit Bangkok, I hope I can find out where she sells from, and taste those apparently tasty rotis.
