Good video I fly the EC 135 T1 for SAMU ( HEMS ) and yes, without SAS it's extremely unstable and sensitive, almost unflyable comfortably. Unlike older models ( AS350 ... ) who have natural damping characteristics on the rotorhead, EC135 basically do not have mechanical rotorhead, it's blades bolted onto the hub with only the flexbeam and blade flexibility to account for lead/lag and flap actions, making it extremely manoeuverable and like a flea !
That sudden jump on the FLI is indeed the way it‘s supposed to be. It results from the needle switching from showing TRQ instead of TOT after starting the corresponding engine.
Interesting. Would make sense. I was judging from the following video where I don't see the jolt. Older Version? ruclips.net/video/0XHF1kSGDvA/видео.html
@@thenerdyhelisimmer4608 Negative, the gauge wasn’t ever changed in its behavior. The reason for the smooth transition is "coincidence": the TOT scale value and the TRQ one are less than "1" apart in scale range when the shown parameter changed, meaning that the turbine outlet temperature was rather low - happens on cold days. If the value gap is larger than "1", the gauge will do what it did in your video, so that it‘s obvious that there‘s no abnormal value progression but rather a different value presented. :)
nice video hint for the "too dark" textures. X-Plane can be bright and colorful and no longer washed out by using the real haze plugin and some reshade use.
Hi Nerdy Heli Simmer.
Hallo nochmal an@@thenerdyhelisimmer4608. Jetzt weiß ich, warum ich den GTN750 nicht im EC135 verwenden kann: ich nutze X-Plane auf einem Mac - und das Garmin-Plugin gibt es nur für Windows, nicht aber für MacOS! 😢
Hello Please help. I fly the freeware version of this helicopter. Unfortunately, I did not find FTR or CDS settings anywhere in the settings. Respectively, I don't have a Force release trim offer at all. Does anyone know why?
how to get that axis viewer? 2 things i would like to mention: you seem to have set the texture resolution to high, in my version i can hardly read the instrumentation descriptions. Second: i wonder how you get that thing flying so stabile, in my version i experience rough trim imbalance and strange cyclic responses. tried to fiddle around x-plane's response curves to reduce the nervousness, but i am far from happy with the rotorsim dynamics. as i fly a bit more aggressive than you my inputs are more frequent and i especially find the pedal responses (besides the pitch) very nervous.
Haven't done anything specific regarding resolution of the textures. But when flying with the glass cockpit reading altitudes is mostly guess work...would be nice to have a popout window for the FCDS. When flying with the afcs make sure to use force trim or deactivate A.Trim for control inputs or the auopilot will work against you. Also not too happy with some regimes of the flight model. It ain't perfect with weird pitch up moments every now and then which seem to get worse in high wind cond. Without afcs it's quite unstable. With a lot of pedal work. However, it's not supposed to be flown without AFCS anyway. I like the way it feels in a hover. Basically flies itself. Response is rather precise like other Airbus Helis. So only do necessary inputs.
@@thenerdyhelisimmer4608 agree on all. i hope they get it right one day. what i know from real life is its trim issue. But that would related to the CG in general, not the unpredictable behaviour the rotorsim model presents. real life operators actually load additional weight into the front of the cockpit to balance out the issue. hardly anyone knows that. not sure about the latest T-upgrades however. So what's your next video project?
I also have no stick movement in the heli. It is perfectly active in the settings and also the buttons work as intended, so it is correctly configured. Any advice where the problem might be? 😪
I use full linear settings with both my real sized controls and my desktop joystick. Sensitivity at max. Might be a little sensitive on the pitch axis with a small stick. It can also vary with the kind of hardware that You have. Feel free to experiment. With the SAS on it shouldn't move much if You keep the ciclyc still.
Good video

Thanks, looks interesting. Any impact on FPS? Greetz
Wiedermal ein top Video! Bist du eigentlich auch auf der Aero?
Danke 🙂. Meinst Du die Expo? Nee, da war ich noch nicht.

Hi, I would like to know how you set the curves of the various axes? Is there a system for automatically hovering? Thank you

Ich frag mich echt wieso sie keine scharfen Displayfonts hinbekommen
Toll wäre es, wenn man per Mausklick ein Popup des PFD auslösen könnte wie beim RealityXP GPS
Yes. The trim ball display is horrible.
Same in the real aircraft
Excuse me, where is the link?
Sorry, what Link?
