I like how he's a manual plant instead of a melee. It actually makes more sense for ice shroom, and preserves his pvz1 ability in some capacity, even if it does clash with missile toe.
While I don’t hate PvZ 2’s Ice Shroom, this is still a masterful redesign that reimagines the spirit of the original. And the animation quality is insanely high, so polished and smooth!
I mean, the original is nice And mechanically speaking, this one clashes too much with other plants, so nah, would be too much. And in animation, the actual is very, very solid, and it don't mean I dislike this one there, just that I prefer the curved in Pvz2

I would love for this Ice-Shroom to be added into a fan mod of PvZ2, like Alterverz as a Modern Day plant (with proper adjustments with that mod's balances) or Reflourished as an Epic Realms plant (probably for Modern Day as we just got Flameweed). It's so well done that, and it would be a huge shame for it to be only fan art. Great job.
These videos feel kinda bittersweet to me, on one hand, your work is phenomenal and like genuinely look like the plants from early pvz2 with both top notch animations and designs, but on the other hand, can't help but feel a bit sad seeing how well this is while the pvz franchise is going down the drain, hopefully they can get talented people like you sooner rather than later.

While changing his abilities in the main PVZ2 was understandable given how Iceberg Lettuce and Ice Bloom have his old ability, my main issue was that he looked a bit... too short. It wasn't bad like how they absolutely butchered Scaredy-Shroom, but his design still looked quite off-putting. This is absolutely perfect; a more faithful design, actual good animation, a new ability that seems pretty cool, and an extra buff that can actually make him more useful! I can't wait to see which other plants you'll redesign!
This is By Far so much better than what we actually got! The design looks cleaner and first in with this games art styles but still remains his identity from the first game. The abilities are what you actually would expect from an Ice-Shroom ported from the first game You did very well with did one
Production quality went so high, the last video looks like childsplay compared to this🔥 English newspaper zombie but instead of making new zombies, bro redesigns existing plants!
The sun cost being 300 is pretty balanced too, however 20 dmg seems too low for it to be worth using instead of ice bloom. You could also make it so that if u use the freeze ability when it is charged with plantfood all zombies in the 3 x 3 area are frozen into those ice bloom defensive icebergs.
they do the old animator and artist left due to overworked they moved onto another studio to work on, working at pop cap isn't worth it the place is corrupted by corpo greed it's best for them to get away from that horrible place
Now this is a good altered Ice Shroom, it did make sense why he doesn't do what he does cause Ice Bloom but it is way too different, this version looks much better and works much better too!
Popcap should use this idea, then I will spend time unlocking Ice-shroom. I already bought Doom-shroom because it was cool, now I just want a proper Ice-shroom to have the PvZ 1 gang on my list
imo the design of the plant is fine, its just the aura and the toughness should've been its main shtick without the insane damage. but the visuals are totally and upgrade, the colors are consistent which i like

manual attack of this version of ice-shroom, with cooldown (while ice-shroom is sleeping), is kinda similar to what ice-shroom does in gw and gw 2
