Thank you for stepping by! Problem with the attempts is that I first of all reset very often, but even more so, I make new splits for route changes and stuff all the time, so it should not be too high. This run was within 3 days of actually trying the new route though, so I would say reset count around 50 or so

First blindfolded WR I've ever seen live, and the first one where I can say that I've kinda made some small contributions in, which feels awesome, and... weirdly emotional? I remembered watching 16 blindfolded ~2 years ago and wondered whether LBLJ/DW reds would ever be implemented, and back then the answer was a resounding "no" from everyone - and rightfully so, it looked so ridiculous and impossible at the time. "But maybe, one day... you'll never know!" added Bubzia. And that one day finally came! Fast forward 2 years, Bubzia was streaming and trying to find strats to make DW reds faster and more viable. And everyone in chat is throwing out all the ideas they can think of, some good (like the reds order for 4-6 which saves 5+ seconds, we used to do 564) and some dumb (admittedly most of my other ideas lol). But the efforts came together, and now we have a DW reds that's ideally just 15s slower than the visual shigeru cycle! What's best is that this isn't even Bubzia's final form - he's streaming sub-20 attempts (among some other fun stuff) on Twitch and RUclips, and I'm sure he's gonna get it soon. GG and good luck with the ultimate 16 run!
Yes, I switch controllers there from gamecube to Wii Classic in order to make the new strat work! It requires the highest possible ranges on a controller which the wii classic has
Whatever happened to Katun and Nobori? I haven't been able to find a trace of them on the internet anymore. It would be nice to see more competition and collaboration in the various blindfolded categories. Have you ever thought about coaching other SM64 streamers how to do blindfolded runs?
Thank you! I use the beats of the BGM to count starting from my first longjump at 1, then stop at 11, turn around at 13, etc. Thats how most of the strats in the run work actually! We transform it into a rhythm game :D
My first blindfolded 16 star run was 7 years ago, and with ons and offs I have been at it constantly. Especially since 2020 when my stream grew, since then I practice close to daily during the week.
GG! You play like a machine! Only after seeing this run, I can comprehend how difficult it would be to get sub 20. Saving almost 2 minutes from this? It would be insane. I noticed the input display didn't work for the owl star. Why?
Thanks!!! Yep, sub 20 is just barely within reach, even with a perfect run. The input display does not work because we switch controllers for the star now, Wii Classic controller has higher notch values which makes the new madowl strat possible in the first place!
Wear that mask farther down your nose. I notice some things that make me a little skeptical. Not trying to be an a hole, I really want to believe. Is it possible to show where your monitor is in relation to you?
No worries lol. Monitor is on my right, i sometimes show it on stream ^^ its how the blindfold is supposed to be worn lol if I put it further down its ON my nose. Always welcome to check the livestreams in doubt 😊
