Jamie Hewlett is one of my top most inspiring people that I personally look up too. In which I usually don't look up to so many but each of whom I see them and their work and how far they have gone. It just hits me you know? The first time I saw Gorillaz which honestly was just recently, I fell in love with the artwork first. The character designs and the animation. It gave me an eye orgasm. I just instantly fell in love with the artwork and that is something I have also heard from other people who enjoy Animation. Hopefully I grow up and become just what all my heroes have become. I want to be a animator, a sort of story teller a storyboard artist. I want to make my own ideas or interpret other people's ideas into my line of work. Hopefully I do get my dream but, either way. Jamie is all inspiring and perfect no matter how many flaws he may have. He is my hero and I shall wait and see what else he comes up with in the near future.
He's definitely my inspiration since I met him in stylo not long ago but I really admire the way he animates, I'm studying animation thanks to his work. I'll try to be as good as him and someday meet him and even work with him, that's my goal in life.

I totally agree with everything he's saying! As someone who's aspiring to go to arts college, it's strangely comforting to hear that even someone who's drawings I consider perfect is never content with his results, that somehow makes me feel less alone.
I agree. He's up there with Notch as far as quirky creative rich people who don't seem to be assholes. This vid needs to be seen by every artist. I feel so inspired. I mean, here he is, he's an amazing artist yet he feels about his art and talent the same way I feel about mine. If he feels tat way, I don't have to feel so bad about myself, now, do i?
I'd like to amend my statement-My opinion of Notch has lessened over the years. Calling women who disagree with him 'cunts' isn't very kind. I've lost any respect for him I might have once had.
Omg I can relate so much to what he is saying! Jamie you have been such an inspiration to me more than most artist I like, your layed back and you do your own thing which I love. Gorillaz is most inspiring to me and you make me wanna pick up a pencil and open up my sketchbook and just get lost. :D

If you don’t like the look of his art you should just have a look at some of the Gorillaz music videos (I would look at the music video for the song called:Clint Eastwood cause it fucking awesome) I love Jamie’s work and he should carry on until he dies
